Hands down the funniest diser to me was DixieAmos I crack up just thinking about her "Love Always. Veronica" This particular thread had me pee my pants. I especially loved that so many were taking her seriously.

I've never thought of PoohandWendy as funny...just always right!! LOL She almost always says the smartest things in my book. (I can tell she works in a salon! LOL)

The most funny for me are CharlieNJ (loved his story about sleeping with his wife!OMG) and I dearly loved Patti and Jerry's banter from years ago--Droopy's nuts and Patti's car and that Uncle's stick collection.
WillyJ's stories were also very funny to read.

I would love to see posts like those once again!

Remember "The War" on the DIS? It was hilarious reading the play by play of this "war", with people being assigned ranks and all. One of the wittiest things I've read on the DIS. I wasn't a part of it, except as an observor, but it was FUNNY to read, whether taking part (didn't feel cliquish at all) or not. Didn't it get closed because it wasn't "nice" to have a "war" on the DIS? LOL

I love all the memories. There have been a LOT of funny people on the DIS, but I think DixieAmos is the one that had me in stitches time after time. For awhile, my son would ask me to play Jasmine & get on all fours so he could use me as a stool. What a riot.

There are some great storytellers on this board, like Vettechick and RickinNYC, and also some who can throw in some great one-liners on a regular basis, like TiggerandBelle and Popdaddy.

There are a lot of people though who REALLY crack me up when least expected. I can't list them because that would be half the people on the board. I guess what I am saying, is that there are a lot of funny people on here, but it is even funnier when you are expecting a serious reply and instead it is something humorous. (Auntpolly herself is one I can think of who tosses the funny stuff in here and there). I think most people on this board have a great sense of humor.
