Who is the BEST DPS Photographer?

We had AMY and she was amazing! I have never heard of anyone who had her and hated her work!

To see their work, you have to click on Wishes Weddings and then wait for an image to come up with the name of the photographer you want. Then you click the black bar at the bottom of the pic and it takes you to his/her portfolio.

Disney has been offering to send its photographer even if you hire an outside photographer, but I don't know of many professional photographers who will allow you to have someone else shooting when they're there. Talk about too many cooks in the kitchen...

We had Mike Strickland and Joe Duncan for our wedding.

And Ty for our Mk shoot

I cannot remember who did our rehearsal dinner

Mike was wonderful, and he really took some awesome shots. Though, I don't think his set up on the site is very impressive, he did great work for us. The two of them together were alot of fun!

On the other hand, I would not recommend Ty. Our pictures are okay, but he just wasn't that great to work with.

We had Regina for our MK photos (a substitute for no Disney photographer on the day, not one of the extra shoots). We loved working with her, and were so pleased with the photos. We thought we would just be given two prints in a presentation folder, but we also got a disc with 37 photos on!

Rosie at floral even knew that Carl's favourite thing in the MK is the partners statue (we asked for her help to source the miniature version), so she briefed Regina to get some shots by it.

Were you able to confirm who your photographer would be before the shoot? Or do you kind of just find out when you get there?

I'm only thinking if I didn't like who I was assigned, I'm not sure I would want to pay over $1000 for the shoot!

I understand exactly how you. I wish there was a way to book a specific photographer when you book these.

I thought I had heard that David and Vicki weren't with Disney anymore?

Anyways, we had Ty for our MK shoot and LOVE our picks!! I had a friend that had him a year before and was less than thrilled with his work but he did great for us!! We had requested either him or Amy for our shoot and found out about a month or so before the shoot who we had from our planner!! Just make sure you request as soon as you know who you want to your planner!

I'm going to give my list and dvd of wedding and bridal portrait shots at my planning session.

I am so worried about DPS photographing my wedding I'm making a dvd of shots I love so they get an idea of what I want. Because I've had 3 conversations with the Wishes DPS manager and she doesn't seem to get what I want or really understand my concerns.
