Who is taking their tree down today?

If dh was home with the sawzal it would be GONE

we have a bad tree this year!!

we usually cut it into small pieces and toss it out the window rather than drag it back through the kitchen and make more messes!!

so we will wait til he is ready - and look at a tree that is losing more and more needles by the second!

We're having dinner guests tonight, so I'll probably start taking it down tomorrow. Usually I start to take it down on New Year's Day, but we are leaving for WDW on January 4th, so everything has to come down a bit earlier.

Mine is already down. I took it down earlier today.

We usually don't, but this year we did because this is the last day DH has off before going back to work, and our tree was beyond dead anyway and needed to come down. I am actually relieved to get it out of the way.

I already took mine down this morning!!!

We leave soon for Disney, and we have to get all the decorations put away!! :)

We took ours down yesterday. It was dry when we got it and really was in bad shape by Christmas. (Thanks, Home Depot) We usually leave it up until New Years.

I'm actually going to take it down right now. Christmas is over and I am so done with it. After 12/25 I'm ready for spring (and my birthday, 12/28). ;)

Ours is down, yippee !!! Also all the tabletop decorations and the wreath on the front door.

I keep ours up until New Year's Day. But then it doesn't go up until a few days before Christmas.

For those that take theirs down already, when do you put it up? I put mine up a week before Christmas, so I'm not sick of it yet. Plus do you all have real trees or fake? I know some of you have said the tree is dead already or you are going away. I'm just curious because I have been so busy this past week that I haven't even had a chance to enjoy Christmas yet.

I have a christmas time birthday as well, my son Sage will be 15 on the 28th!

Our tree is unusually dry this year, it's really looking bad, but we'll try and get a few more days out of it just because we love the lights and decorations so much!

I tried convincing DH to go for a fake tree this year, but he'll have no parts of it!

As long as he is the one vacuuming up the needles, I don't care! That's part of the deal, we can have a real tree as long as he's the one cleaning it up!

We always wait until Jan 6th. (and if the weathers bad--- our outside decs stay up until the weather clears up-- but we don't turn them on after the 6th)
We always keep our up until Epiphany, also. This is the tradition in my husband's family. We set the tree up and decorate the first weekend of Advent, and take it down Epiphany (Jan 6 or the weekend after, since it is such a job to put things away). As a matter of fact, we put more decorations out yesterday.

Our tree is real and we usually get it the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year I was busy that weekend and then went away the next weekend so I ended up getting it on 12/6. It's now out in the yard. :goodvibes

Well, I guess if the tree has been up for 20 days already I'd be sick of it too! I'm glad I wait until 1 week before..we enjoy it after the hustle and bustle have died down.

We also decorate Thanksgiving weekend....we mainly decorate so soon, as it is so much "effort" to put everything up, I want to enjoy it as much as possible.
Then when I usually take it down, is up to my mood...sometimes I am SO ready to get it down, and other times I love it staying up awhile.
