I am happy to say I've never seen a single episode of ANY of them. YUCK! I just honestly don't get the appeal at all. If I want to see a bunch of people acting like idiots, I know enough real life people I can watch!

Woah! I knew there were a lot and I remember laughing at some of the titles when you've posted a similar list before (last season, maybe?), Dan, but this is getting ridiculous!! Some of those titles make me laugh while others make me shake my head. I sometimes tune in on a few, loved the Mole (loved the thinking required), hate the Celebrity Mole but mostly don't pay attention to them. There are a few that I dont put on the same plain as others--Eco-Challenge I've been watching for a long time (7-8 years, I think) and just don't think of it in the same way as I do a show like The Bachelorette or Temptation Island. I guess it IS a reality show, just not what I think of when I hear that term (For those who don't know it, it is an outdoors, several-day long endurance race through tough terrain requiring participants to do things like hiking, biking, running, kayaking, navigating, etc...basically straight through w/very little sleep. They work in teams of their own choosing. Many participants do endurance-type races beyond this one. It used to be shown on Discovery and now is on USA Network. Mark Burnett is involved somehow though I think that might have been in the last few years, I forget. It is on every spring. Very good, if you like those type of things--I like to WATCH others do those type of things, not actually do them myself! LOL)

Just finished another "I'm a celebrity" show with D List celebs and getting to the end of US Pop Idol.

LOL, Bums, no, if the 'reality' folks depended on my viewing time, that would sadly be broke. So far, I have watched about 20 minutes of the last episode of the first Survivor show (the original I guess), after hearing all the hoopla for weeks, (like the old 'who shot JR' thing from years ago), and, after being thoroughly confused, tuned it off, and I saw about 5 minutes of the bachelor show (or maybe it was the lady one, not sure), while stopping on that channel during a channel surf. Seemed pretty cheesy/sleazy, so surfed on. My 'close tabs' are mostly from what I hear in the AM on WGN talk radio, which is not all that unlike the DIS CB here, maybe why I enjoy it. No, not really a 'reality TV' fan here, Bum, but did hear about the short guy show on WGN yesterday and did a search for the folks here, knowing many here do enjoy the shows and might like that one. I do enjoy other TV programming however.

You must think I'm pretty sleazy and shallow then, because I love reality tv. I get such a big kick out of people watching, especially when they're in those wacky situations.

I am very broad minded and have many varied interests. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I'm sorry that some people seem to look down on those who watch reality tv. If you don't like it, great, but don't knock me for my mind candy and I won't knock you for yours.
