Who is more excited to go to WDW in you house the parents or the kids?
I think I may be a little more excited then my kids.   :cheer2:

They are still young and will be excited once we are there.
:thumbsup2

In our house my son can't wait to go for the hot pool (Jacuzzi) but he was 4 and remembers getting stuck in DC on the way back and were were stuck there and apparently left a lasting effect. This time its a direct flight both ways.

No contest - we know the joy and fun and apprciate it alot more to be there!!!!!!!!!!:dance3: :yay:

Most definitely me! My kids are getting tired of me talking about Disney! They are excited but have never been!

I am the most excited in our family, then the kids and then DH (who would go just about anywhere right now for vacation just to have a break from work, I told him no cell phone calls from work or laptop! maybe just one a day :) ). I spend months planning our Disney vacations and am excited it is just a week away :yay:

I am definitly more excited then my DS10 he would rather stay home with Nana but dad said it's a FAMILY trip and that he had to go. My DD8 is pretty excited but 2 month seams like forever to her so she isn't as excited and she will be in a few weeks. DH is sick of hearing about the trip but he always has fun once we get there.

Oh, that's me, by far!!! DH and DD can't get excited til about a week before we go! What's wrong with them!!;) I'm at day 50 today and counting down!

My kids are sick of hearing me and my husband talk about Disney! I have a DD 8 and DS 5. They are happy they are going, but it wont really kick in until we hit single digits for them. I think it is hard for them to get really excited when they are on SUMMER VACATION! I mean who do you think, thinks about Disney more? Me behind my desk, or them floating in the pool? Hmmmm...i'll give you one guess!

i'm fifteen, and i have to say me and my dad are the most excited in the family.
and that's with having two eight year old sisters.. :]

Definitely its me!!!
We are leaving August 18 (can't come soon enough) and I am ready to burst through the windows!!!

My kids are excited because they don't really remember their last visit (they were 1 and 3) and this time they are 4 and almost 6. My husband won't show any emotion, he doesn't get excited until we are actually there. My 2 neices are coming and they are excited too, but even they are not bouncing off the walls or anything.

The only other person who would be sharing in my excitment would be my best friend's son who is also coming, but he doesn't know it. His b-day is August 1, and this is his present so until then, I am bouncing all by myself.:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

Definitely me! My DS (14) is starting to get excited, but his excitement is, "I can't wait to eat a sub from the Earl of Sandwich." said in a nonchalant tone of voice. OY! :lmao:

My husband is very low key about things, so he's looking forward to it, but doesn't get excited about it like I do. My DS-15 is excited, will talk about it some, but seems most excited about going to DisneyQuest! DS17 is low key like his dad, looking forward to it, and I even got some excited talk out of him yesterday-"Test Track-yeah, that was awesome. Dad, you've got to do that!" I'm the one who has read all the guide books, spend my free time on the DISboards, and research everything to try to get the best deals! I have to curb my excitement sometimes because I don't want to overwhelm my guys with all my Disney talk!!

I'm definitely excited the earliest, from the first time I pop in the planning video.

DS picks up on it from me pretty early (and bounces off the walls with it!)

but DH (who thinks I'm nuts doing so much planning 6 months out) is the one who can't sleep the night before!!

Hi!

Well, there are only 3 of us in my house (out of 5) who even know we're going: dh, who is NOT a Disney fan in any way; ds, 14, who usually gets to visit WDW at least once a year when he visits relatives in FL, some of whom actually work for Disney; and me, who has been dying to take our two youngest ds, now ages 5 & 8 (the ones not in the know!). This trip is dh's gift to us as a thanks for 'letting' him go to law school for the last 2 1/2 years. I've been planning since February, when he told me to go ahead & book it.

All that said, I am by far the most excited. I've been planning, & shopping, & planning some more. Dh & ds are of the opinion they'll have fun because I said so...:rotfl2: But, I have NO doubt if my two little guys knew, they'd have me beat by a mile. They think we're going in Aug. of '08 (after Dad's done w/ school), so are already talking about things they'll do.

Thanks for a fun thread!

we're not even going until June of 2008...but we already getting hyped up. That is DH and I...we talk it up every chance we get. DD 13 chimes in every now and then with some excitement but it is hard when you have 327 days left to go:banana:

My DH and I don't have kids yet, but we are taking my 21 year old DCousin who has never been and I am so excited for him to see everything that I love at the World!!

I can't imagine anyone being more excited than me!!!

 :woohoo:  :cheer2: :upsidedow :cheer2: :woohoo:  :cool1:

Without a doubt its me, then my wife... followed by the kids. We just dropped below 70 ( 69 days today --- woohoo!:cool1: )
What is the best is.... we originally booked for Sept 29th - Oct 6th, when the free dining came out, we changed the start date to the 22nd,left the end date the same. We actually spent less money. The absolute best part is the kids don't know we changed the start date. We hope they won't find out until we roll them out of bed that morning!!!

Definitely ME. Tonight I asked DS what was the 1st thing he wanted to do when we got to WDW. He said "Go to the arcade." What??!! I said no, honey, you can go to an arcade here at home, what are do you remember from last year that was so much fun that you can't wait to do it again this year? He then says, "Go swimming." WELL OK THEN JUST STAY HOME!
