I have to admit that I haven't read the hanname thread in its entirety. I read it until just after the mystery had been solved.
Therefore, my impression is that "hanname" pretty much symbolizes warmth, humor, and family -- in the Disney spirit of things, right?
However, we also have to remember that the whole thread was started because of the debilitated health of an elderly woman -- a woman whose failing eyesight resulted in some really bad spelling errors.
Well, based on HanName1's postings thus far, I'd say that this poster's really glaring and over-the-top spelling errors are not in the spirit of hanname. While it may only be inferential, HanName1 is, in fact, poking fun of someone who makes spelling errors because she can't see.
(Btw, I think that "mig" and sassatoga speings" and everything that was part of the original "hanname" post are part of the lore around here now, so they're okay. But it's the repeated HanName1 spelling errors that I think are inappropriate and unworthy of this board.)
But maybe it's just because my stepfather has diabetic retinopathy and is going blind that I'm a little sensitive to sight-related insensivity or what I perceive to be inappropriate humor right now. Who knows.
Anyway, that's my $.05 (inflation).
