Count us in! We have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the last two years but moving on up to the Poly this year!

our first stay was at the Wilderness Lodge! we loved it. the only drawback is the transportation! you are going to absolutley love the monorail and the TTC at the Poly

Welcome!! WL was our first trip to Disney. all they would have to do is add a Monorail track and all of our non dis-kid trips would be at WL!

Thanks She is a piece of cake compared to my 19 year old who was more of a typical teenager!! She picked the Poly over any other resort, it's her favorite. I just hope we can still pull it off and not have to downgrade. DH is a CPA and lost his job last November and just started back up again.

Looks like ya'll are checking in the day before we leave-maybe we will see you there!!

I loved everything about BLT! The location was great, we stayed on the 5th floor next to the walkway to the CR and it was so convenient!!! Yes the pool was great, not crowded at all in June. I think the Poly pool is better tho!

just booked a trip there for June 5-10. Anyone know what the crowds in the parks are expected to be like? And will it be super hot or just hot that time of year?

Welcome dont panic we will be there the same time and have discovered it is gay days there.. so the crowds will be moderate not crazy but moderate. they designate a gay days park each day and if you dont want to be there then you avoid that park. we went last year and had no problems whatsoever. didnt avoid them didnt feel a need to. We were panicking last year. people were saying that they went crazy and displayed ther love publicly.. when we got there they showed their love and respect to us. not crazy or disturbing. we met lots and had some laughs.


Not hot in the beginning of june.. but it does rain everyday in the afternoon. it comes and then it goes and we carry on with our vacation.

Oh that doesn't bother me at all, I rather people show displays of affection that anger! I thought that was the week before and ended on the 5th? I could be wrong.

My kids are both 7, looking forward to using the pool, last time we stayed at GF in Feb. and they had a great pool but the weather was in the 30's. What a tease? So this time we wanted hot, I just hope we don't get too much of a good thing. It'd be nice to have a drink poolside! Especially after the week I had, snow, sick kids, ugh!

It will be our second trip to Disney and our second time staying at the Polynesian (June 2007-was the first). I have a quick question to all you who have been on the Disney circuit before. We will be checking in to the hotel on Monday and I think I would like to start at Chef Mickey's (we did not get there on our first trip). We are driving to Florida from Illinois and will be an hour or so away on Sunday night....what time can we check into the hotel on Monday and how early do you think we can get over to Chef Mickey's?

You can Check in at the GCH desk anytime You want.. To check into the Hawaii building they get there at 8 am

If your room is not ready you can leave your luggage with bellman and they can deliver them to your room when you are ready. 8 would be a good time for chef Mickey just ride the monorail around to cr and get off... Soo easy

DS8,DD6,DD3...It will be DS8 and DD6 second trip and DD3 first trip..glad to know that teens are still interested in Disney...
