More specifically, the end of July....are we crazy??????? We will have a 5th wheel, no tent camping.

its never crazy anytime you can go to the fort, we will be there July 18-21

Only if I hit that Powerball tonight. Otherwise, landscapers can't do that in the summertime.

We will be there July 15-25! Our friend's have never been & decided July was a good time to go , boy are the in for a treat it's going to be hot hot hot!!

We are going July 4-13th! We can't wait!!!! It has been a long time since we have gone to Disney in the summer and I know it is going to be hot!

We will be there June 27 - July 6th! Yes! It will be hot! Seems like thats when we have been over the years the most because thats when everyone can get off for vacation at the same time! One thing for sure is we won't have to worry about a jacket or if its to cold to swim! LOL!

We will be going on my daughter's make a wish trip July 20-26. I'm prepared to be HOT! :-)

Or, I could take the kids out of school for 4 days and go the week of Columbus week in October...which would you do? My husband and I have water park annual passes that expire the first week of August..oh what to do what to do. What would you do?

I would choose October. We never go in July anymore because of the heat, crowds, but mostly because of the huge tour groups.

I'm a southern gal also and love the summers, but then I'm not out in it all day, every day either! Makes a huge difference!

Well everyones going to have a different opinion! LOL! Neither is wrong but what is right for you and your family! But... Since you have asked! LOL! If I had a 5th wheeler & annual passes for the water park I would go before my passes ran out! Of course you are getting an answer from someone that usually goes in July! LOL! In July we do tend to make plans or reservations to eat in the afternoon somewhere cool, see an inside show to rest from the heat, return back to the camper for a swim or lunch, and return in the evening when its cooler. We take our water fans & water etc & use our magic hours some.
One thing I did not like in the fall was having to wear a jacket some mornings, & that the temperature of the pool was cold. I heard others complaining about the pool so I don't think it was just me! LOL! We didn't camp we stayed at All Stars Sports last fall 2012. I heard one family complaining to the lifeguard that they thought the pool was supposed to be heated. They said that Disney would not turn on the heaters untill a couple of more weeks which would have made it about first of November if they were correct. But I don't know if that was just at that value resort or all of them including Fort Wilderness.
Even though I have went on vacation a few Springs and Falls I just personally like a summer vacation the best! If I could have my way though, my preferred time would be first week or two in June.

I will be there July 3-7 tent camping, hopefully be in loop 1500!
