Who is going in February????

Hey February goers!!!! Are you all as excited as I am that in 2 days we can say we're going NEXT month?!?!? LOL! I am so excited, I find myself thinking about our trip in my sleep now! :teeth: I am getting anxious about the weather though, I hope it's not chilly and rainy most of our trip. We really are hoping for 2 days that we can swim (and use the pools at each of our resorts!!)

liznboys-

I'm with you. I can't seem to stop thinking about our trip. I think I'm more excited than the kids. LOL. princess:

Hi
We are going on the 17th feb and I am getting excited too. When in Feb are u going? We have been in March before and the weather was brilliant so here's hoping Feb is just as nice.
Enjoy your trip.

YES!!! Now that the "Christmas Rush" is over, I am SO looking forward to Disney World! (We don't go out for New Year's Eve anymore, so that's no big deal to us, lol.) :cool1: Woo Hoo...can't wait! I'm dancin' early! :cool1:

DD is running around in her Cinderella dress as I speak *type*...she's practicing, I think, lol. princess:

Tracey-We aren't New Years Eve party-ers anymore either. I keep telling people how I was asleep by 10pm and dh made it till after the ball dropped, but wondered why he even bothered. LOL

NEXT month we are all headin' to WDW!!!!!!!!! I have the 2003 parks cd in my car...it's so fun to listen to the music and know that we'll riding those rides in a matter of weeks. :teeth: My 3 yr old asks us multiple times each day if it's time to go to WDW yet. :D We did a bunch of planning yesterday (actually RE-planning due to the new EMH's...) I need to make a few more PS's that we decided on.

I sure do know what you mean about the "re-planning." I was doing that today, and I think I've got it "right" finally! It is SO exciting to say we are going "next month" isn't it? :cool1:

Yes, our plan is right too as long as the hours don't change again! :wizard:

Wow! I just noticed that our countdowns are almost exactly the same! :earseek: Is yours set to when you leave, or arrive? Mine is set to my flight departure time, out of PIT. We are scheduled to arrive at MCO at 2:10!!!

Edited to add: OOps, wasn't done...as far as the hours go, I'm HOPING they don't change things again, though I wouldn't be surprised!

I noticed our countdowns too! :D I set mine for when we arrive, although it seems to be a couple hours earlier then what I wanted it to be set at. ?? We should arrive at POFQ in the early afternoon on the 6th. :cloud9:

Yeah, I wouldn' be surprised either about the hours...

Liznboys, I notice the same thing about the countdown time. I had mine set for a 3PM arrival time and it looks as if it's setting me for 1PM. Not that that's a problem for me ;) the loonger time we're there the better for my entire family. The had part would be convincing DH that we NEED to be on the road by 7AM instead of 9AM :)

Robin-Oh me too, not complaining about the countdown!! :teeth: We leave our house early on Saturday morning (Feb. 5th), drive about 10 hours to the Savannah area, stay the night there, then drive about 5 hours on Sunday morning. :D

Ouch! To tell the truth 6 hours is about all the time I can stand with my family in the car! We went to Gatlinburg TN for T'giving (don't ask why) me, DH, two girls 7&9 and the family shih-tzu all in the cab of a Ford F150 (luckily it's extended cab). The dog wanted to sit with me rather than in the back with the girls (can't blame him there!). By the time we spent one day there in the frigid cold (for us it WAS cold), DH said, "why didn't we just go to Disney? It would hav cost less money!"

Getting out of town for the Mardi Gras holiday, we'll be at the Poly Feb 4 - 12th. See you there!

LOL!!!!

The drive down isn't bad since we are all so excited!! The drive home isn't much fun though.

Kids are as excited about this trip as if it were our first! They have me embroidering Disney characters on every item of clothing they can find. Gives me an excuse to use my new toy!

We are going Feb 3-10, land and sea package with staying at CBR with dh and 2 kids. I've never been to Disney and am very excited! I'm trying to figure out if we should do the character breakfast at the park or if they will have a similar thing on the cruise..... anyone know?

Wow, that sounds really cool! Can ya come up here and do some embroidering for us too! :teeth:

If you're inerested, it's the Disney sewing and embroidery machine by Brother. Walmart ~$430.00. Great investment for someone who knows absolutely nothing about sewing, I use stitch witchery, fusible fabric tape, for everything;). So easy that they girls can start and finish the embroidery, all I have to do is hoop the item for them. Lot cheaper than the $20 t shirts at the park :)

Ok, I must know LESS than nothing about sewing then...I don't know what stitch witchery or fusible fabric are! LOL!!!! The extent of my sewing expertise, is using the little travel sewing kit I have to sew a button back on. You're right though, it sounds like a great investment, have fun!! :D
