Who is going in August?

We are!

We'll be staying at the Dolphin! This will be our second WDW adventure this year...last time was in January during Florida's record setting cold snap, it went down to 28 degrees one night while we were there! I even took a photo of the frost on the rooftops of the Wilderness Lodge Villas!

Next trip, we'll all be roasting in the mid 90's!

We'll be at the Dolphin from Sunday August 17th to Friday August 21st!! Can't wait!

Looks like we're doing the opposite of you, staying at the Dolphin next trip and then WL in August. What dates are you going??

Oh and don't worry, it'll be hot, humid and rainy in August, but sill better than 28 degrees!!!! (we were there in December and it was cold then too, brrr). Seemed very strange, I'm so used to sweating in WDW!!

I'm going in Aug too!!

It'll be my second trip in Aug and let me tell ya, the weather it VERY hot (but I love that) after this friggin long and COLD winter I'll be glad to be baking in 90 degree weather!

Staying at CSR, for 8 nights, with my parents & my best friend, it's a trip for our graduation from High School

We'll be there the second week. DH and DS-17, plus my brother, SIL, and their two kids, ages 1 and 4. We'll be in a 2BR at the BCV.

We will be there Aug 3rd to the 15th.... Bring on the HEAT. It's the only way to do Disney. After this COLD Winter the heat of summer is going to feel good. We go to the parks early and take a break in the afternoon for a few hours then off to the parks again.

24th-30th at ASMO.
We were there last year at that time and the heat really wasnt too bad. Our first day while at the pool in direct sunlight for an extended time was very hot, but after that the never bothered us. The rain was more of a problem to us. Obviously it wasnt too bad that I wont go back and try again.

We will be at POR from the 15th to the 24th. And we will be in the lounge EVERY night Bob is playing.

We are going last week of August, and my BIL is getting married the Saturday of Labor day weekend. We can't wait. MY DH and DD are both in the wedding. We have never been to a wedding in Disney before, it should be really fun! We are staying at CSR for the first time. We have been to ASSPorts and to ASMovies twice. This will be our first stay at a moderate. We are looking forward to it.

eeyore1226, right now, it's rack rates . But, I've booked with DU, so hopefully it will go down when/if codes come out. I'm booked at 244 a night(that's with taxes). Hoping that I can get it down to where it is now, about 170.
I'm hoping to see some lime green while I'm there!!

Going in August! Only 148 days from today! Not that we are counting. August 6th > 23rd. Plan to stay at Beach Club Villas 1 bedroom then 2nites in the middle at Portofino Bay (usf) & return to disney to the Contempary tower! But if we don't get some decent ap rates or codes this could change? Did get a great rate at PBH 50% off the entertainment rate! Universal came out early with their discount's! Thank you! Not for us. We went the last week last year. Monday we had the typical midday downpour...no problem. Tuesday morning it rained for a few hours. Wednesday evening & night it poured nonstop, and the same for Thursday evening & night(missed out on Fantasmic). Friday afternoon there were 2 separate downpours(this was our 1 day at the Poly and we couldnt enjoy the pool since it was closed down, due to lightning), then the rain started up again around 7:00 and continued for the night. That really put a damper on FITS. Im figuring it cant be that rainy again next year.
