We are getting excited-just over a month til our trip . Saw Brave today, which we loved, and my 6 year old is now even more excited to go and see Merida.

Also switched the last two nights of our reservation over to the DLH, although I'm still having a hard time swallowing the cost.

Just a heads up, my car rental for the last week in August just dropped by over $200. If you are getting a car, recheck your rates!

I rechecked my rates yesterday. Our rate went down by another $45. We've seen it drop a couple of times, but this is the biggest drop so far.

Now if I can find just find a good rate for WDW for December.

Also, we are flying SWA and have had those rates come down as well. Might have to go back to DL next year and use up the credit I have.

Now that I have my Steakhouse 55 reservation, I have a quick of question?

Does SH 55 validate your parking ticket?

I was looking at the DL site and I notice that the resorts also charge for parking. Also says that certain restaurants validate parking for up to 5 hours. I was just wondering if SH 55 was one of them.

Is it a far walk from the DTD parking garage to the DL hotel? Noticed you can get up to 3 hours free there. Might even take a quick walk through DTD after dinner. It will be our first day at DL. Our reservation is for 7. We don't want to stay up too late. The following day will be our first park day. Want to be up bright and early, and hit the door running.

I do not think so, you will love DTD, especially after dark, lots of night music, interesting sights, etc. You will need to be ready to go in the early AM my friend, the place will be hoppin. Have fun.
