Who is everyone using for grocery delivery to your resort these days?

We used Walmart+ in Sept this year. Part of the delivery came separately, which was weird, but they did show up at the beginning of the scheduled window. It also seems common to get delivery there, so they provided detailed instructions for pick-up, which was helpful as a first time WDW visitor. I especially liked that you could schedule an order and modify (add/delete) items up until a few hours before the delivery, just in case you think of something else you wanted to add.

(Walmart+ has a 30 day free trial, which is what we used.)

Im going to try Target next time if they have that option, they just gave me a year of 360 membership for free on the app and they do free deliveries.

Ive earned a bunch of circle bonuses from all the gift cards I bought with the 5%off and I was able to turn $200 worth of groceries and toiletries into $61, now im hooked lol need to complete my other circle bonuses, just got $30 more from this order 😆

We use Amazon for groceries every year - Whole Foods, but you can also choose Amazon Fresh if that's your preference. We have a subscription already and use Whole Foods at home, so it's easier because we can choose quickly from our past purchases and they have the brands we are used to. Even if you don't have a subscription, I like that you just pay a fee and the tip instead of having every item marked up like Instacart.

We also used this while staying in VDH with no issues.

Does Publix just use Instacart, or do they have their own in-house delivery service? I always use Instacart for Publix but now am wondering if you’ve identified a cheaper option.
They definitely changed this from July 2024. Last summer, I did everything on Publix.com with a Publix login and now it forces me to the Instacart website (just tried to start adding stuff as my "list" for December) which I am not a fan of. Guess I'm trying Kroger's as others have mentioned on here!

Another check for Kroger.

BWV bell services was glad we had them and said they were the easiest ones to deal with
I just tried to look up nearest Kroger near Disney's Riviera Resort and it says there are none, it comes from a fulfillment center? What was your experience with the produce if you got any? We usually just get breakfast stuff and fruit and snacks.

Yes it comes from their distribution center so that is actually a positive as with instacart the quality definitely varies shopper to shopper and usually everything is in stock.

For produce we just had apples and bananas and both were in good shape.

Someone post earlier if you have a Kroger, Ralph's or other Kroger owned company you can put in your number and earn fuel points.
They post the points on the day you order them though and not the day of the delivery. I only mention that as I had closed out the month to get my $1 off gas and then placed an order to be delivered during our stay the next month (only 2 days later) so I ended up with wasted fuel points.

Yes, it is definitely a fulfillment center. I know we got bananas and they were perfect. I can't remember if I got any other fruit though. I also got bread and it was very fresh. And then other cold or frozen items (eggs, milk, juice, butter, bacon, yogurt, ice cream) and everything was bagged and separated to go in the fridge versus freezer.

So no post-dated milk or other perishables? No broken eggs?

I ask because for our first stay at BWV as owners (in 1997) we ordered via MS. They’d not only shop for you (at the Screen Door), they’d put the groceries away in your villa before you arrived! But unfortunately not only was an egg cracked, it was spoiled and very smelly. They brought us a new carton right away, but that experience has always made me hesitant to order eggs for delivery!

I haven't ordered eggs in awhile but the creamer had a long expiration.

Nope - all my eggs have been good - no cracked or broken. And I am the picky (crazy) one in the store who is taking out every egg to look at it from all sides to ensure none are broken. I usually get 2-3 dozen eggs at a time when I do the orders as we go almost 2 weeks and have something with eggs just about every day. Same with the milk. If I got that, it would be going back and new ones requested. But I can totally see how it would sour you on buying those via delivery again.
