Who is doing Philly RnR half next week?

Just thought I'd see who is planning on Philly on the 19th. My DH and I will be there with a few friends.

Jim will be there - making a very quick trip....in on Saturday, home on Sunday.

There will definitely be WISH gear....DH is a big guy, you won't miss him in his safety lime!!

Can someone tell me what ungodly hour you are meeting at the Rocky statue at? I'm doing the WnD and I'd love to meet some of you in advance, since I can't make it to the meet before that race!

Good question, figment! I'm not sure. We'd love to meet you. There's several of us that will be at WnD. What time should we meet by the statue? The race starts at 8:00am. How far away is the statue from the corrals? Anyone know?

Terri - We arrive in Philadelphia around 2:30pm on Friday (by plane). I guess we'll go to the expo sometime after that. Let us know if you want to meet up for dinner or other. We'll probably do some sightseeing on Saturday. I haven't mapped it all out yet. I wonder if I need reservations for anything. I need to get on the ball and start deciding what to do and when to do it!

Does anyone know if there will be transportation from the Marriott, Hampton Inn area to the start? These hotels are about 3 miles away. I can't find the info on the Website...maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Susie - Jim looked it up and the Hampton Inn is 1.1 miles from the start. He plans to walk, but.....possibly could be convinced to share a cab. When I did Philly in 2008 Anne insisted we take a cab from the Hampton, the cab could only get us so close anyway.

I'll probably be there spectating & cheering for you WISHers & some other friends doing it.

I however, was too chicken to run it once I got into the W & D on the WL. Was afraid of getting hurt so close to the W&D since I'm still recovering from another injury.
