Who is counting down to Aulani?

We're heading back to Aulani in February and since I just booked this yesterday we're on the waitlist for our last night. I'm hoping it comes through; otherwise, we'll stay somewhere else. I forgot to ask about the hotel rooms. We're combining our birthdays and 35th anniversary (Jan/Feb/Mar).

DH & I had the couples massage and DD21 had a facial. We enjoyed the garden afterwards with the hot tubs and rain showers. I would have stayed even longer and eaten there. The menu had better selections than the quick service or lounges. It was a very relaxing. Loved it! Very pricey, though. It was my birthday present.

I had the Kili Kili. It was very nice and relaxing. It is like a wet massage with an exfoliation beforehand.

I am going with an extended family so there will be 10 of us over Thanksgiving week!

From the looks of it, the resort will be packed because there are no rooms available!!! Most schools here have Fall break that week!

Although we live on Oahu, OK 20 mins away, we still get excited because it never gets old! We will be there from Oct 7-10th. Keep in mind for non-locals that this is normally Fall Break for a lot of schools hence the availability will be scarce.

You may want to wake up super early and stake out chairs. Keep in mind that during peak capacity days there is a hr vacant chair rule. Another words there are staff that go around and make sure that a chair has not been vacant for more than an hour. They will remove your towel so others can use them.

Places to eat: we like the Monkey Pod which is across the street from Aulani. Best thing to do is make reservations! Again make reservations! Best time to go is during their happy hour where their appetizers, locally called Pupus, are 50% off. The other place which is Roy's which is across the street at the golf course. Get their pre-prix meal. It will run you around $40 pp but well worth it.

Hi, we are going Jan 29-Feb 6th ( 8 nights/9days). Anyone have any info on those timeframes as far as weather and how it is there that time of year?

Thank you so much! Have you been to the Member Mingle on Monday Mornings, did you enjoy it? Debating on going or not. We've been to O'ahu before but the last time was 1996, so it has been awhile. I'm sure a lot has changed! Really looking forward to our trip and visiting Aulani for the first time. We will be there when you are, we will be there October 4-11. Sorry to hear the resort will be packed, I had hoped it would be a slower time. We chose this week because my husband and I both have birthdays on Oct. 10, oh well. It still will be wonderful.
