We didn't do the snorkeling excursion, but did a catamaran experience, think it was called Ocean Voyage Cruise as part of an ATV excursion at Kualoa Ranch! HIGHLIGHT of our trip! WOW! So taken back by the scenery!!!!!
Jerseygal - great to hear about your time at Kualoa! We have the 1/2 day tour scheduled with ATV and leaning toward the catamaran experience also. We know for sure we want the ATV but don't know which second activity to add but your praise of the boat ride has really swayed us in that direction! We've had a few people tell us it was a great thing to do. Did you do the 1/2 day package or just the two excursions? The half day package includes lunch also but I'm curious if there's a set start time for us to arrive or can we just pick our time on the day we reserve?

Book ON LINE to save 10%! Buffet lunch imo was very fresh and very tasty! Yes, we had to arrive by 8:00AM! We chose to go on a Sat because of traffic patterns; we gave ourself at least 1 hr 15 min; pulled out of Aulani at 6:45 I believe that morning! THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP!

We leave on Thursday. I am trying not to think about it. The resort has really gotten quiet today. Looks like lots so of people checked out. Yesterday was crazy busy! We didn't get down until after 8:30AM today and has lots of free chairs. Yesterday we had to sit on the beach since there was not one chair to be found. I kind of wish I booked one week later now. . We miss last weeks since we arrived late so no Starlit Hui for us. We will just have to come back.

I was sad last night since the Startit Hui was cancelled due to poor air quality ( Fire in the mountains). The next one is Thursday and we will be at the airport at that time.

We were there last week of May, beg of June and it was much less crowded than peak! 
). Tell me that is enough time for us. I used to live in Honolulu a million years ago (started kindergarden there) and my husband first trip was for our 10th annv, as for my kids it will be there first trip to the island. They are totally excited!
