Oh, yes, we will be buying a Pal Mickey! My first thought was that my DDs were going to love him, and then I realized how much my autistic DS loves electronic plush toys - so it's a LOCK that we will be touring with Mickey and bringing him home!

Is it true that Pal Mickey has a GPS tracking device to monitor your movements in the park?.....lol

HELP!!! I have four kids....do you think this is a "shareable" toy (and them Mommy gets to keep him when we get home) or do you think it will be a constant fight over who holds him.....can everyone in a group hear him talk or only the person holding him....

I really, really want one for myself...lol...maybe I'll just tell them its MINE and then share....

To answer some questions, yes he still works when you get home. He plays 3 different games, and tells really cute jokes. One of the games is "Mickey Says" it like Simon says. My 4 yr old loves this game.
As for sharing, I also have 4 girls and we had no problem with sharing him. At first my little one wanted to carry him ( the new thing ). Then my husband and I would take turns. When he would giggle or vibrate they all would gahter around and listen. It seemed like we went at a slower pace and took more in than usual. I love this little guy! He is still giving us laughs!

At $50, Pal Mickey is a MUST SHARE toy - I think he'll just add to the magic and the kids can take turns!

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to bring him back. The only problem I see is that (especially since this is new) they will almost certainly make improvements to Pal Mickey (and the inevitable Pal Pooh). Then the question becomes, can you upgrade? Hopefully they will be smart and just make it a software/firmware upgrade that can be done at a station in each park.

I'm sure we'll be getting one on our upcoming July 4th trip!

I think in the next few months he'll be getting a lot better... I mean, I love him how he is, but sometimes he CAN go a lil crazy! Now if only he could hold your water, keep it cool, and be a swiss army knife.... *lol*
