Who is an expert organizer?

I have, in a large shoe box right now, various articles and papers of things I have researched or just ideas I want to save.

I want to sort them into five categories and file them somehow but I don't know how I want to store them. The BEST solution I can think of is 3 ring binders but I am looking for something 'prettier.'

I saw some silver wire mesh magazine boxes at target last night and I thought of finding pretty colored files to put in them in but just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions.

I would do a 3 ring binder like you mentioned. Easy to flip through and they have pretty ones out there now. Use the tabs to organize and plastic sleeves to hold the papers so they don't get dirty or torn.

I am not a big fan of 3 ring binders. It just seems to be a hassel to get things into them and to take out the items that are no longer of importance to me.

I use a lot of colored files and expandable files for things like this in baskets like you mentioned.

My Target carries a line of organization products made by Real Simple (the magazine) that are both functional and attractive.

When I was putting my home office together, I used a lot of their products - I, too, didn't like the look of three-ring binders and found that the RS line has a lot of different choices.

Thanks! The RS line was mostly sold out so I may have to try another Target.
