Who Invited My Mother In Law? A Moderately Deluxe TR All New X 3 & PTR Link 2/3 !!

Great update! You are reminding me how fun DHS is! :woohoo:

Cute P&F pics. We waited FOREVER for those guys, so I'm a little jealous......

I hope you get to do ToT one day! popcorn::

Love, LOVE, LOVE the pictures of maddie in the fountain and with the giant guitar.

We are now 37 days out from our trip and I've actually stopped planning!:( Not more I can do without input and the family refuses to discuss it until Sept. 1

How's the new job going?

IMG_4308.jpg

So loving her posing! :lmao: She's a natural!

Don't feel bad, I now nothing about Star Wars either, I know what wookies are, and who Chewbacca is, and Darth Vader is the bad guy. That's it, and I don't care to know more than that.:thumbsup2

RnRC was fun, but I need my dramimine:sick: My DH would love to see the queue and everything right up until you load. It may be the only way he ever "sees" Aerosmith! He's had tix 3 times and had to cancel each time.

Whoops! See what happens when life gets in the way? Shantilly posts not one, not two... but three updates!

Yoikes!

we got DD’s daily stuffed animal as well. Lotso it was ( “Smell him Mommy! Strawberries!” All. The. Time).

:lmao: "Must. Resist. Urge. To. Throttle. Child."

Bryan had made the decision to skip his much anticipated lunch at Earl of Sandwich knowing that it wouldn’t be Maddie’s favorite and with one snarky word from her we could be back to square one.

Isn't it amazing just how much we sacrifice for the little rugrats?

I suspect that Bryan will play a lot of golf when Maddie hits her teenage years.;)

Play golf? You mean the DH can do that? Heck I've got DW, DDteen,
DDpreteen... even the dog's a girl.

Golf, you say. Hmmm...

A bus bound for the Swan/Dolphin/Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club arrived within 5 minutes and we got on it.

I've heard of Swolphin, but you've got 'Swolphiboabeacthclub'

I like it.

It always seems to take 4 years to actually leave the DTD area and this day was no exception.

The bus was on it’s way to one of the water parks when Maddie uttered the words that no parent wants to hear when trapped on a bus that will be making a minimum of 6 stops—“Mommy, I have to go potty”.

Kids are amazing aren't they? The little darlings seem to have an inate sense of where exactly the restrooms are... and a corresponding evil sense of timing in regards to them.

Again we asked some people working how to get back to the walking path, but they pretended not to speak English until it was obvious that we weren’t walking away. Then they begrudgingly told us to “go that way”. So, not a great first impression of the Swan or Dolphin.

Geez! What's with that? It's pretty sad when people are not only rude... but actually have to work at it. It would've been a lot faster just to point you in the right direction to start with.

Brother. :sad2:

Eventually we did make it to DHS. We noticed right away that there were still TSMM Fast Passes available –at 2pm!

Wow. Just. Wow. I wonder if that's the first time in the history of that ride?

Doesn't the palm tree look like a little pom-pom on top of the hat?

That officially makes it a toque. Welcome to Disney North.

And, Bryan actually likes bad pizza. This is the guy who’d been willingly sampling pizza from the kid’s section of every buffet we encountered.

Nope. Not me. If the pizza isn't at least half decent, I'm gone.

So, Pizza Planet. With a Deluxe Dining Credit.

Didn't I already mention the sacrifices/parents spiel?

I am kind of a Caesar salad snob though, and the salad was not good.

I find that very few restaurants have a decent caesar. A lot of them are right out of a bottle... and it shows.

While we were eating, I glanced at the receipt for our food and noticed that we were 6 dining credits short... He realized that when he picked up the tickets for the Luau, the dining credits had likely been deducted right then and there. I knew he was probably right, but we agreed to keep an eye on the credits the next day to be sure.

Cardiac arrest time? Followed by <phew>!

Secure in the fact that we were the Worst Parents Ever, we left Pizza Planet.

:rotfl: That's usually a sign that you're good parents.

Bryan asked, “Hey Maddie, wanna watch a new movie? It’s got a princess in it!” And so began her Star Wars fandom.

Oohhh... Tricky... Very, tricky.

And Toddlers and Tiaras? Only once he’s gone to bed.

Oh, no! Say it isn't so! DD15 likes that show too... I cannot for the life of me understand why.

I continued to refer to it as “thingy” in an effort to drive Bryan crazy. (Which it did of course, it’s not my first rodeo)

:lmao: Remind me not to get on your bad side.

Whadya mean, "too late"???

“For the last time Mommy, it’s a Speeder!!” I laughed so hard that tears were rolling down my face, and all of the people around us were cracking up too.

:lmao: That's great!

CPO the Golden Robot

the Golden Robot????

You're just trying to rile up all of geekdom, aren't you?

Next up was Muppet Vision 3D which was a first for all of us. Stop throwing things at me! We went didn’t we?

:duck:

Maddie was chosen to be a part of the ‘library scene’ where her job was to play the rubber stamp. She was delighted with herself.

As were her parents, I'm sure.

I hadn’t ridden RnRC since our honeymoon, but it’s still my favorite ride on property. So much fun! I can’t wait until Maddie is tall enough to bribe her onto that one so that we can ride as a family.

Love RnRC. My fave ride in DHS and in my top 5 for sure. I love the city in the middle of it. Kind of reminds me of Peter Pan over London on Steroids.

Great updates, Shanoopie! :goodvibes

Just catching up on your trip report
Your DD is so cute. I love her outfits esp the Alice in Wonderland one.

If someone bribed me with Disney stuff I'd go on Haunted Mansion as well :lmao:

I did not know you could meet Russell and Dug in Animal Kingdom. I wanna meet them!

I loled at the Epcot Character pics. I love how some kids are just at the right height to put their hands in the wrong places for those characters:lmao:

That is so cool about how Fairy Godmother gave her the invite to BBB :thumbsup2

I will be back later to catch up more. Have to go to work now to make money for Mickey Mouse :)

He no longer tries to get me to watch the Godfather or Star Wars series with him, and I return the favor by never suggesting CenterStage or Coyote Ugly. And Toddlers and Tiaras? Only once he’s gone to bed.

OMG! Center Stage. I have a motto of "drop everything when Center Stage is on"....I could quote that movie start to finish. And can I nominate it for most awkward ending ever? "Jodie Sawyer! (Clap, Clap, Clap!!) :rotfl2:

Too too funny!! My grandsons were in my room and I was showing them pictures, hence the Rossa vs Rolls...lol, I hate typos!

Great minds just think alike I guess!! My older grandson LOVES Star Tours as much as he loves Muppets 3D. Actually, HS is the easiest park for us to encourage him to do things, as we can always offer another ride on Star Tours as an added bonus! :lmao:

I think my grandson will be tall enough for a lot of rides this time. So far we have only been able to get him on BTMM, KRR, ST, POTC, and HM as far as dark or roller coaster rides go.

He says in September he wants to go on Splash, with his Mommy of course, so we will see.

We really like DHS, Maddie always has a great time there.

If he's already done HM and PoTC, then you don't have to worry about him being scared! :thumbsup2

I hope for you guys that he's tall enough. It's so much fun to take them on the "big kid" rides. (and then you get to ride too!)

:rotfl: at your reference to watching Toddlers and Tiaras when Bryan's not there. That's one of the shows DF won't watch either, in the category of Dance Moms and Keeping up with the Kardashians - all shows I definitely watch while he isn't around as well! :rotfl:

I love that you were teasing them about the "bike thingy". But I especially love that Maddie enjoyed the Muppets! :thumbsup2

Love Dance Moms!! That's one that I watch alone too. :confused3

She loves the Muppets now! Every time she talks about France she says that's where Miss Piggy and Belle are from!

Been silently following you since the beginning :goodvibes Great trip report!

Thanks for joining in! And thanks for the kind words.

Don't be a stranger!

You are on an updating roll!!:worship:

had to squeeze it on on my 'weekend'. Still have to get over and comment on your update.

I LOVE the reference to CenterStage! I was pretty sure I was the only person in the world to see that movie, especially to secretly really like it:lmao:! And no, I haven't gotten DH to watch it. Obviously he doesn't know what he's missing;).

Are you trying to tell me that there are people who don't love CenterStage? That's crazy! :rotfl:

DH watched it with me when I first got it on DVD. He spent a lot of time rolling his eyes.

Glad you finally went to see MV3D! Miss Priss really fits in posing at that fountain with Miss Piggy! My kids all LOVE it, but they are more than a little obsessed with Muppets, especially Muppets Take Manhattan.

Thanks! She only poses in princess-style these days. I got her Muppets take Manhattan and the original Muppet movie when we were living at the hotel. She loves them! For about a month she sang 'Rainbow Connection' 24 hours a day.

Before our last trip, Brandon and I watched the original three Star Wars movies in preparation for the ride. I wonder if my kids (or at least Julia) would like them since Maddie does?! Might have to investigate that! Julia loves the ride without even knowing the movies, though!

I'll bet that Julia would really like the movies. Maddie loves to watch them with her dad. I don't think there's anything too bad in them either. Right now she's stuck on Ep. 4. She loves seeing Anakin as a little boy.

Very cool that CMs were entertaining Maddie! Where were you when they did that? Just standing outside? Are they there all the time, or was it just a random thing? My kids are going to need some distraction so Brandon and I can ride RNR. We had MIL last trip, but won't this time ()!

I don't know if they're always there. This CM was at the little "radio station" stand on the left as you walk down the path toward the ride-on the ride exit side. One thing we considered doing was sitting in the very back of B&tB show, and hoping that the CMs would let us in and out so that we could rider swap that way.

I know that you're really broken up about your MiL not joining you. :rotfl2:

Love both of the updates!

The Star Wars section had me laughing! I love it that Maddie likes Star Wars. I started showing Reid the movies about a year ago. He loves them, too! Ed & I are geeks so of course we love Star Wars & are happy our son is following in our geeky footsteps. :rotfl2: The pictures on the Speeders are great! Reid is sitting next to me & got quite excited when he saw them. He was even more excited when I told him where they are & that he can get his picture on it.

Thanks! I'm just not really into any Sci-Fi/fantasy movies, but DH and DBro love them. She's been watching 'geeky' stuff for years!

She loved getting her picture on the Speeder! I can't wait to see pics of Reid on it!

So fun that y'all got to meet P&F & that the line wasn't long! :thumbsup2 I've heard that line is really well done. As for the Toy Story meet & greet... It's always so crazy long there. We always meet those Disney friends in MK. :sad2:

It's a great M&G. I loved that they had built in entertainment while we waited. The Toy Story one was insane both times we were at DHS. We never did meet Buzz. :sad2:

Yay! for getting to RNRC! That is my favorite ride at DHS. So fun! And I love the pictures of Maddie in front of the guitar.

And the Photopass pictures are all great, too! The one with y'all kissing & Maddie covering her eyes is too funny! :goodvibes

Thanks! I love RnRC! I was so glad to have the chance to get on it again.

I think that different PP photogs had us do that pose 3 or 4 times this trip! She thought it was really funny.

DHS seriously has the worst counter service food in the world! I like starring rolls, and that's about it! Pizza Planet just doesn't do it for me at all, but I do like the environment, so I always make sure to at least walk through the restaurant during the trip.

DHS is really bad for CS. I haven't tried Starring Rolls yet, but since I've always got a kid with me --- Pizza Planet it is.

Baha! I'm about the same with you on the Star Wars stuff (and Center Stage, Coyote Ugly & Tods &Tiaras) I haven't seen any of the original ones, although I want to, and pretty much everything in that section is a "the thingy" to me too lol.

I'm glad that you can appreciate the really good movies with me. DH loves Star Wars, and I love teasing him about how little I know about them. Star Wars people take it really seriously. :lmao:

Oh my gosh, Muppets is seriously one of my favorite things over in DHS, it just cracks me up! I love them so much! I'm glad you got on RnR! I have yet to do that (and might be doing it in Sept :scared1:), hopefully you guys get onto ToT sometime during the trip!

Mads loved the Muppets! (just one more 'show' for us to see at DHS ). We thought it was really cute!

You have to get your butt on RnRC! It's the best coaster at WDW IMO!

Great update! My son is finally tall enough to ride all of the rides except RnRC and I'm so excited to get him onto the mountains and ToT. It's funny that you mentioned bribing her to go on the rides...I've already offered DS a "bravery prize" for every new grown up ride he tries with me. He's already agreed to trying most of them. He's a little unsure of EE and ToT but I have incredible powers of persuasion so I'm pretty sure I'll get him on ;) He's emphatically said NO to Dinosaur, but I wouldn't take him on that anyway...it scares me a bit, I know he'll be scared.

Thanks! I'm all for ride bribery! They usually end up enjoying it anyway! Yay for being tall enough, that makes it so much easier to tour. Rider swap is nice, but not so great when you've got an angry little person waiting for you at the end of the ride.

Good luck getting him on them! I don't blame him for skipping Dinosaur!

Great updates, Shannon.

I love the picture of you and Maddie after you made up.

The ceasar salad was pretty good at Pizzafari at the AK (I'm fussy about my salad too).

The "thingy" for the Speeder--I love it. I don't know anything about Star Wars either...just not my thing (I watch my chick flicks when Mark goes out of town on business or is umpping his games, and I go upstairs and play on my computer when he watches Star Wars and Godfather and most westerns).

Seriously? Seriously? You had never seen the Muppets before. I cannot believe it. I do think it needs a little updating, however.

LOVE LOVE LOVE your t-shirt in the photopass pictures, and the pictures themselves are really cute.

Thanks Kathy!

Thanks for the Pizzafari tip! I love a good Caesar.

Star Wars just isn't for me either. Bryan and I employ very similar techniques. Just sub 'history channel documentaries' for 'westerns' and you've got us too.

I know, I know. Last trip she didn't even know what the Muppets were, and on previous trips DH and I had been too busy squeezing in as many rides on ToT and RnRC as possible to bother!

Thanks! That's one of my favorite shirts!

HAHAHA, I'm glad Maddie set you straight once and for all! :lmao:

:rotfl2: She sure did! It was hilarious.

Your ride on Star Tours sounds a lot like the one I had last week! Too funny.

I'm glad that I described it well enough that someone knew what I was talking about!

I'm glad you got to get on your favorite ride! And the PP photos are so cute. :goodvibes

I was so glad to get on RnRC! Thanks!

I really enjoyed your TR so far! I have to say, we do Disney a lot differently - my kids have met a few characters in their trips, but don't do a lot of interaction. They are more into stuff like Innoventions, the countries in Epcot, and my DD loves roller coasters (rode Goofy at age 2 in the front seat with her hands up, and by the time she was tall enough loved the others, ugh!).

Thanks! Sometimes I think it would be nice not to spend so much time in character lines, but she loves it. DD was a lot more 'brave' when she was younger, I can't wait until she's out of this scared phase. I think she'll have fun on some of the bigger rides.

Your DD is so cute!

Thank you!

The food looked wonderful. If you haven't done Bistro de Paris at Epcot you'd love it! We did that once - very memorable (only since we did wine pairings for us, not the kids, lol) and then my DH was leaving (I was staying a few more days with the kids as is our usual he only comes a few days and I go a lot longer) it started storming like mad, so he took my umbrella which did him no good and got to one or our rooms at the Dolphin to change into dry clothing and leave me the wet stuff. When the rain is coming sideways in late August no umbrella or poncho is going to keep you dry. But the Bistro was nice and good food and drinks (sorry I guess you don't drink but man lots of wine!). My kids love Epcot best, then AK and DHS, MK last. They're weird but we trained them to like what we do I guess - not really!

I cannot imagine going with my MIL. Yikes you are brave.

Bistro is on my list for "next time" It looks really good, and DD is into Paris and France right now thanks to Belle and Miss Piggy!

That's a great story about the rain! I'll bet the wine helped make it easier to deal with!

MiL. Yup. Wasn't ideal, but I'm willing to give her another shot. For Maddie's sake.

I can't wait to hear about the Luau... I am thinking of doing it in Februray

Next update!

Joining in

Welcome! Thanks for joining in!

Great update! You are reminding me how fun DHS is! :woohoo:

Thanks! It is a fun park, we really like it.

Cute P&F pics. We waited FOREVER for those guys, so I'm a little jealous......

Thanks! I was glad that we got in line when we did (even though she wasn't wearing the right shirt ;)) The next day they line was mobbed!

I hope you get to do ToT one day! popcorn::

Oh the suspense!

Love, LOVE, LOVE the pictures of maddie in the fountain and with the giant guitar.

Thank you!

We are now 37 days out from our trip and I've actually stopped planning!:( Not more I can do without input and the family refuses to discuss it until Sept. 1

OMG! 37 days! It's so close!!!!! :cool1:

I'm pretty sure that DH would make me stop talking about Disney if he thought he could get away with it.

Around trip time he does get really sick of it, but once he goes on the trips, he really appreciates all the work that went into planning them so he's a lot nicer about my constant chatter.

How's the new job going?

Thanks for asking! It's not too bad. I'm getting used to their way of doing things and slowly feeling more comfortable.

I can't wait to hear about your trip!

So loving her posing! :lmao: She's a natural!

Thanks! You have a lot of similar pictures don't you? :lmao:

Don't feel bad, I now nothing about Star Wars either, I know what wookies are, and who Chewbacca is, and Darth Vader is the bad guy. That's it, and I don't care to know more than that.:thumbsup2

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

RnRC was fun, but I need my dramimine:sick: My DH would love to see the queue and everything right up until you load. It may be the only way he ever "sees" Aerosmith! He's had tix 3 times and had to cancel each time.

I love that ride! DH does get a little motion sick as he gets older, but so far I've been ok.

Poor John! I would be so upset! I saw Aerosmith when I was 18, and I'd go again in a heartbeat. They were awesome!

Whoops! See what happens when life gets in the way? Shantilly posts not one, not two... but three updates!

Yoikes!

You had time Ponzerooni! I won't have time to update for another week.

:lmao: "Must. Resist. Urge. To. Throttle. Child."

:lmao: Exactly

Isn't it amazing just how much we sacrifice for the little rugrats?

:sad1: yup, decent meal down the drain.

Play golf? You mean the DH can do that? Heck I've got DW, DDteen,
DDpreteen... even the dog's a girl.

Golf, you say. Hmmm...

:rotfl2: Have you tried the "my boss says I have to" tactic? Works for DH.

I've heard of Swolphin, but you've got 'Swolphiboabeacthclub'

I like it.

I thought it was a bit much. :rotfl: All that money for a deluxe, and you end up at the Swolphiboabeachclub stop.

Kids are amazing aren't they? The little darlings seem to have an inate sense of where exactly the restrooms are... and a corresponding evil sense of timing in regards to them.

Oh boy do they ever. I've not been to a restaurant in 5 years without seeing their facilities.

Geez! What's with that? It's pretty sad when people are not only rude... but actually have to work at it. It would've been a lot faster just to point you in the right direction to start with.

It was a bummer. At least I know I don't want to stay there though!

Honestly, my favorite part was that they pretended not to speak the language. That took a lot of effort. They don't do things half way over there!

Wow. Just. Wow. I wonder if that's the first time in the history of that ride?

I was shocked! It's the first I've ever heard of it.

That officially makes it a toque. Welcome to Disney North.

:rotfl2: DH will be delighted. He's obsessed with Canada.

I find that very few restaurants have a decent caesar. A lot of them are right out of a bottle... and it shows.

Yup. I'm a total Caesar snob.

Cardiac arrest time? Followed by <phew>!

Exactly! I was on the phone ready to dial and freaking out. DH saves the day!

:rotfl: That's usually a sign that you're good parents.

:lmao:

Oh, no! Say it isn't so! DD15 likes that show too... I cannot for the life of me understand why.

It's a train wreck. I have to watch.

:lmao: Remind me not to get on your bad side.

Whadya mean, "too late"???

:lmao:

the Golden Robot????

You're just trying to rile up all of geekdom, aren't you?

:rotfl: That's what Maddie calls him. Drives her dad crazy.

Love RnRC. My fave ride in DHS and in my top 5 for sure. I love the city in the middle of it. Kind of reminds me of Peter Pan over London on Steroids.

Great updates, Shanoopie! :goodvibes

RnRC is my favorite coaster hands down. I love that you can't see where you're going at all. SpMt. would be on the same level if it didn't give me whiplash.

Thanks Pecans!

Just catching up on your trip report
Your DD is so cute. I love her outfits esp the Alice in Wonderland one.

Thanks! I loved that outfit too!

If someone bribed me with Disney stuff I'd go on Haunted Mansion as well :lmao:

I did not know you could meet Russell and Dug in Animal Kingdom. I wanna meet them!

I think you still can, but I may have heard a rumor that they've pulled them. I was so glad that we got to meet them.

I loled at the Epcot Character pics. I love how some kids are just at the right height to put their hands in the wrong places for those characters:lmao:

Those pictures cracked me up!

That is so cool about how Fairy Godmother gave her the invite to BBB :thumbsup2

My favorite day of the trip hands down.

I will be back later to catch up more. Have to go to work now to make money for Mickey Mouse :)

Thanks for reading!

OMG! Center Stage. I have a motto of "drop everything when Center Stage is on"....I could quote that movie start to finish. And can I nominate it for most awkward ending ever? "Jodie Sawyer! (Clap, Clap, Clap!!) :rotfl2:

Great Motto! I can't do the whole movie (that's Empire Records for me) but I've seen it 10,000 times.

The ending is soooo awkward. It's sublime.

That is too funny about Maddie and the Speeder! In our family it's the opposite, I'm the Star Wars nerd and Anthony has to set DH straight. The next two days of my TR are Star Wars Weekends.:scared1: So you can skip those if you want:rotfl2:

We have never seen Muppet Vision. Definitely on the list for next time.

Phineas & Ferb are favorites in our house. We didn't have a long wait for them either but my sister waited longer for them than she did for Rapunzel!

RnRC is a great ride! I finally got Chad on it this year.

The Photo Pass pictures are so good.

Can't wait to hear about the luau!

Great Motto! I can't do the whole movie (that's Empire Records for me) but I've seen it 10,000 times.

The ending is soooo awkward. It's sublime.
[/QUOTE]

OHH, I love Empire Records, too.... I always quote Lucas and say: "What's with today today?" Great movie.

I think these were some of my favorite pictures so far! Loved them all!! I don't know a lot about Star Wars either but I still enjoy the ride! It has been several years since we did the Muppet show...I need to try and see it again. I think it would seem new since most of your pictures were unrecognizable to me!

Oh my gosh, I was a few updates behind. Glad you made it out of DTD and eventually to DHS. I do have to stick up for the Swalphin a little. I've stayed there lots of times (they have an awesome military discount) and while they are not as "disney-fied" as some of the resorts, they do have all disney stuff in the gift shops and some great dining (including an overlooked character meal!). The rooms are also lovely (really, nicer than the GF), and you can't beat the location. I'm sorry you ran into some not-so-great employees, but I assure you, there are lots of nice people working there too- AND- they serve Starbucks coffee at the Swan ;)

That walk from the boardwalk to DHS is deceptively long. We often refer to it as the WDW "trail of tears" because it has incited many a meltdown in our family (some people get really whinny when forced to walk long distances). :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Oh Pizza Planet, our DH's are very alike. My DH would eat there every day if I agreed, but I HATE DIsney pizza. I think we may have done it once.

Glad you guys enjoyed ST, and how funny about teasing Bryan and Maddie!

One Friday night when she was about 3, Bryan and Maddie were talking about what movie they’d like to watch. Having already grown tired of Disney Princess movies, Bryan asked, “Hey Maddie, wanna watch a new movie? It’s got a princess in it!” And so began her Star Wars fandom.
Nicely played! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I'm glad she ejoyed the movies, as well as the ride. I love the new version of Star Tours. It is incredible!

I hadn’t ridden RnRC since our honeymoon, but it’s still my favorite ride on property. So much fun!
::yes::
I love that ride!

It looks like it was a good way to salvage the day. I'm glad that Maddie seemed to enjoy Star Tours, Muppet Vision and the Phineas and Ferb M&G.

I have missed a few updates. You have so many readers that I have to use your links to sift through. That is a change. Catching a DtD bus is 5 minutes is incredible luck. I know what you mean about wanting a lot of ornaments. I could easily buy a lot and spend a ton at the Christmas store. Although, I would like to shop without spending two hours in there next time. I think it is cute that Bryan gives in to his little Princess. I give in to the boys all the time. They always go over budget. Someone told me about an Earl of Sandwich here in Vegas. I cannot wait to try it. I know how much Bryan likes it there, but it sounds like a good idea he passed. Extra time at DHS sounds awesome too. It is my favorite.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Swan or the Dolphin. That does not make me excited about it either. I am pretty certain they do deduct credits right when you get your luau tickets. They did that to us for Hoop Dee Doo. I wish we would have gotten tickets ahead of time for MBYBBQ, so they did not deduct two credits for Connor by mistake. Hopefully, it all works out.

I agree that I would not want to waste a deluxe credit at Pizza Planet. Then again, I hate using them for any QS meal. I am really thinking of getting the regular plan next trip, since we are trying restaurants off plan and having full waterpark days where there are no TS restaurants. I think you and Bryan are great parents. Maddie seems like a pretty good kid too. They all have their issues but I like that she realizes when she messes up and apologizes. Xander needs to learn how to do that without being told to do so.

I love Center Stage, Coyote Ugly and Toddlers and Tiaras. Crap hates them all, but he does like Star Wars and The Goldfather, lol. I like the Muppets show, but Crap does not. He made us skip it on the last few trips. Next time, I will insist we watch, so Connor can see it. I love the picture of Maddie copying the hippo on the fountain. She is a little entertainer. I bet she is a fantastic performer when she dances.

It is neat that Phineas and Ferb had a short line. Disney really makes the wait fun for kids, but I will never wait in a long line for that again. Rock and Roller Coaster is awesome. It has been a long time, since I’ve ridden it as well. The pictures of Maddie in front of the big guitar are fantastic. I cannot wait to hear about your experience at the luau. We’ve never done it, because Xander vetoed the food menu.

I had to laugh when you called the "thingy" a "thingy" 'cause that's what I call it too. I know next to nothing about Star Wars so you can only imagine what my trip report looked like when I was writing about our day at Star Wars Weekend. :rolleyes1 There were referrences to "thingies", "fuzzy characters", etc.

Maddie and her posing always makes me smile. She's a natural born poser. :thumbsup2

Hi Shannon! :wave2:

I've got a lot of work to do to catch up, but I wanted to let you know I started! :thumbsup2
