I want to just praise your genius for adding the DDP for your one night stay! What a great idea, and I'm sure you came out ahead on your meal price versus adding it for the one night.![]()
After walking around checking out the resort (which only took about 5 minutes since it's so small)
100% agree with this!we took the boat down the Sassagoula to Disney Springs. By far, this is the superior way to arrive to DS, beating bus, car and rideshare.
You both look pretty content.
Oh dear...Mike has mixed feelings about this place since the very first time we went we sat outside on the upper patio and the sun was beating down on him and he was literally sweating so much it looked like he was running a marathon.
I thought it was hysterical but he thought he hated WBG because of it! (I'm going to have to look for that pic because it's so funny!)
Ohhh... you're sneaky!he got a chicken salad sandwich that he really loved and because of that I got him to try again on this trip but little did I know they don't serve the chicken salad sandwich at dinner.
We got the
House-Made Meatballs
triple cheese polenta / tomato sauce
Artisanal Cheese Board
four artisanal cheeses / condiments
Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites
tomato nage / pecorino
Yes to all of that! Yum!Burrata with heirloom tomatoes / fresh corn / local sourdough
I will definitely be back...with or without Mike!![]()
I like this name. I think we should adopt it DIS-wide.EPCOTTIANS
By design or by accident? We ended up where I always end up...on the railing on the left side of the crowd to wait for Remy...
oooohhh... I haven't been there in ages... and I don't know why? It's terrific! After our ride we headed to my favorite QS in EPCOT...
Parisian Brunch? What is this?Mike and I have that Parisian Brunch reserved for our upcoming trip in October and I hope it's just as good as this...I have seen some pretty good reviews so far which is encouraging.
Very!Haha...they couldn't be more different!
Coolest mannequin in the park... or any park.
How was the pizza?I mobile ordered our lunch at Connections. We shared an order of Pepperoni Pizza and Mike got a beer because it came with it.
This was the next picture in my roll and judging by Allie's face, Daisy had gotten herself into some trouble back home!

How was that?Mike stopped at the Hawaii booth on the way to try the Hawaiian Rice Bowl...
Oh, no. I think it looks huge. It's hard to appreciate just how huge these rooms are from pictures but trust me, they are.
Judging from your plate, I presume it's buffet?I think dinner here was okay but I'm in no rush to go back. It was convenient though which was a plus.
Nice.I was able to snag Boarding Group 3 for Tiana's![]()
You're a bit blurry, but you sure look happy!
How could she not be?!?Ava was excited to be here!
Seven minutes and 8 point 63 seconds.Everyone was in good spirits while waiting for the bus, but I'd be lying if I said I remembered how long it took...
Oh, geez. Of all the luck.Poor Clay was being frisked in the extra security line. His first time back and this was his first experience getting into the park.
His what? What's an Apple Card??The security officer told him it was because his Apple Card
Look at those happy smiles.
Meega, nala kweesta!OCTOBER 5, 2024

I think I had my mom's scooter dropped off the day before but honestly I can't remember.
In any case it was charged up and ready to go by this morning.

We always take this pic with the car, I hope they never move it.

By 8:45 am we were through security...or most of us were. Poor Clay was being frisked in the extra security line. His first time back and this was his first experience getting into the park. The security officer told him it was because his Apple Card is metal and zings off so after that he left it in the safe and I don't think he got pulled over again. Funny enough, I'm usually the one who gets pulled over for whatever reason but this day I got right through.

A quick castle pic as we zoomed to our first ride of the day.

Just the three of us went on this...I don't recall what Mike, my mom and Ava did in the meantime.
Since we had Boarding Group 3, we headed to Tiana's next!
I've never eaten there once. It sure looks pretty good!I think dinner here was okay but I'm in no rush to go back. It was convenient though which was a plus.

Me too! I just got home from a one night stay there and it just feels like home! Can't wait to be back in October!Wow your room looks awesome! And HUGE! I love the Beach Club![]()
We really like it. Definitely try it if you're in the area. It's not as good as Topolino's or 'Ohana though! We've never done Cape May Cafe. I've wanted to go for breakfast, but it always ends up on the maybe list and gets cut for something else. Maybe this year will be the trip we actually make it over there!
I got pretty good at the boarding groups! So nice to have everyone together.Awesome getting Boarding Group 3 for Tiana's! I absolutely suck at being successful getting a boarding group at all, let alone a single digit! LOL
Yay! So happy you're here!I'm here and ready for any Trip Report.
I'm so glad you're doing another one.
That's fair! Mike loves the sandwiches too! We are already planning our drive-day for October and of course it includes dinner at Buc-cee's!We drive a lot but our drive is shorter than yours. We try to stop at Bucee's too. DH loves the sandwiches. I love the bathrooms.
Ok! Had to do a deep dive and remember when it was but I finally found it in October 2020!Find that pic!
I agree...they have the best food!Yes to all of that! Yum!
I would love to take credit but I think it's what the Guardian's guy says in the pre-show before landing on Epcot-terrans. I like Epcottians better too!I like this name. I think we should adopt it DIS-wide.
I think it's habit now! I like an edge with one free side and I like to have a rail for leaning while we wait!By design or by accident?
From their website:Parisian Brunch? What is this?
Not bad, especially for quick-service. It's not the puffy thick dough you'd normally see.How was the pizza?
Yes! Sorry I didn't get pics of the whole thing and I think I was running out of pic space in that post.Judging from your plate, I presume it's buffet?
Seven minutes and 8 point 63 seconds.
I guess Apple makes a credit card and it's truly made of metal! Who knew! His what? What's an Apple Card??
I'll let you know if it's worth it!I also contemplated the Parisian Brunch, but was a bit on the pricey side for me since I'm not a huge breakfast eater.
That room looks so huge and so pretty! Love it! One of these days I'll finally get myself there.
I thought it was hysterical, especially since his shirt said, "Chillin like a Villain" and he was anything BUT Chillin'!
Ah. Well, you could've lied and I would've believed you.I would love to take credit but I think it's what the Guardian's guy says in the pre-show before landing on Epcot-terrans. I like Epcottians better too!
I'd try that... if it wasn't ridiculously priced. Which I have no idea.Looks good to me and includes bottomless mimosas too!
I'll forgive you... this time.Yes! Sorry I didn't get pics of the whole thing and I think I was running out of pic space in that post.
Not me!I guess Apple makes a credit card and it's truly made of metal! Who knew!
