Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

Thank for all the well wishes. I am hoping he can find something quickly, but I am still scared.

I just got back from the doctor. Everything is looking good. I haven't gained anything and my blood pressure was good (I was amzed considering recent events). I will again be waiting to start diabetes medicine. I will be going once a week from now on and start the non-stress test next week.

Lin, barking dogs would drive me crazy. I don;t know how people can just let their dogs constantly bark. Our pug starts and is quickly told to stop.

Lyzziesmom, here's hoping Emma gets better soon. :wizard:

I think we could all use this right now for various reasons...Enjoy!!

glad your appt. went well!:woohoo: He'll be here before you know it.

OHHHHH thank you!

Good afternoon all.

My friend has still not located her camera. She's bummed. The one person she thought might have brought it back with them didn't have it.

hopefully it will come up somewhere soon:guilty:

CAKE!! Just what I needed. And even better - the calories are only virtual. It's the weirdest thing, but all my work pants seem to have shrunk over the holidays.

I went to TDS to return Lyzzie's too-big shirt and as Lyzzie would say, I made out like a bandit! All the stuff I just bought at 25% off was now 40% off, so I exchanged her shirt and got a price adjustment on everything else. Plus I bought a few new things that I didn't see the other day, and only had to pay $4.00 more because I saved almost $20 on the adjustment! The cashier was the same one I had the other day and she remembered me. The poor lady was so flustered, she didn't know how to do a price adjustment and kept getting confused about the shirts and about adding new purchases onto the transaction. I actually ended up talking her through how to do it. Her manager was right there and said, "Just listen to her, she's right." Then I needed to reload a couple of gift cards and the poor woman didn't know how to do that either, and I had to explain that too! I really should just work there already. If I had time for a 2nd job, that wouldn't be a bad one but I'd spend my whole paycheck there!

pozey: I hope your friend finds her camera. Did she try calling the hotel or wherever she was staying? I'd be calling everywhere I could think of that I went to see if I left it somewhere. There are lots of things I've lost, but a camera is such a personal item. I lost my camera in Epcot once but I realized it right away, and went back and it was GONE! A CM saw me running around like a headless chicken and asked me if I'd lost a camera, I frantically described it and he had it in the back room! I was so happy, I kept a VERY close watch on it from then on. I really hope your friend finds it.

Lin: Our house was surrounded by big dogs when we moved in. The guy next door has two, and 2 neighbors behind us each had one. One dog just wasn't there one day, and the other people moved so now we're down to just the 2 next door and they are quiet, thank goodness! I'm not sure what the police can do but I agree that you should call them, at least so the neighbors are aware there's a problem.

Amber: I'm so proud of you that you've made it this far and STILL don't need to take the diabetes medication! Just think, all this will be behind you soon and you'll have a precious baby in your arms. I'm so excited to "meet" him!

Good Morning

pozey, I like it! I love facial hair and can't stand when Mike shaves it off.

Well, it looks like we are down to a one income household. Unless things change today (which I HIGHLY doubt) Mike's last day was yesterday. I am really scared. I am trying not to stress right now, but it's hard not to. I am hoping he can find something fast. So, if you can please keep us in your prayers. I am at work right now, but all I feel like doing is crying.

OMGosh!! I am so sorry about Mike's job!! Good luck, I'm sure he will find something soon. I will keep you in my prayers

omg...we have a guy flying from Reno to Alaska Sunday and the weather there is just crazy! He lives in the mountains, they have a blizzard warning calling for 10' of snow:eek: omg I hope he gets to Alaska safely, if the airport is even open:scared: this is crazy!

The speech therapist called and left a message last night. She never heard back from the Dr  so she called the ins. and they are extending the referral until Tuesday. So Maddie will have her test on Monday! :dance3: :yay: She woke up wheezing this morning so I have to hope it doesn't get worse before Monday. :headache:

Have a great day everyone! TGIF

Hurray!!! I am so glad that Maddie is finally going to be tested.:cool1:

Did I tell you guys about our neighbor and their dog? I don't think I did. Sometime over the last couple of months the people that live behind us got a big dog. We have never seen this dog but it barks constantly, and it is so loud that it sounds like it is outside our bedroom window. I think they put it outside at night and just leave it out there because it has been waking us up between 3 and 4AM at least 3 times a week and it will bark for a solid hour. We finally called the police and filed a distrubance complaint on Wednesday night. I think they went out there because last night it only barked for 10 minutes, but it was at 4:30AM again! They are driving me crazy, and I'm afraid to say anything to them personally because I don't want to have to worry about repercussions with out little dogs. I don't mind dogs barking during the day so much, but at night! Just another reason I want to move...although this can happen anywhere!

That would make me crazy. I'm really not an animal person, so listening to them drives me nuts. Dublin, our cat, sits outside of Nick's room and meows until he will let him in. :headache: The couple across the street have 2 dogs that bark constantly. They had 2 others when we moved in 21 years ago:eek: It was so quiet when they finally passed away. I always felt sorry for them. They were never taken for a walk. They rarely cleaned up the yard, you could smell them all the way over here in the summer. After the wife died his girlfriend moved in....and brought 2 cats and birds!! She has quite a few canaries and 4 parrots. These things are huge and in nice weather she would carry their cages onto the front lawn so they could get fresh air. They are so LOUD!!! Now they have put a chain link dog run out back and fenced in the top of it to make an aviary!! Those birds are so damn loud!! Now they have started breeding the new dogs. From what I understand, cause that is a house I never want to enter:scared1: they now have 4 parrots, umpteen canaries, 3 cats, and 8 dogs!!!

We have about 10 of us in here consistantly with only 4 lines. So, just any of us answer the phone. My boss has these investment guys calling him CONSTANTLY:mad: they want him to invest $ w/them and they call so much, we have told them over and over not to call and blah blah... they don't stop, so now if we know it's them, we just hang up on them:rolleyes: It is hilarious b/c we know immediately if someone really knows him or not b/c how his last name is pronounced. It is really strange. When I ask what the call is regarding, this one guy just replies "oh, he knows me":rotfl2: oh please! You can't even say his name correctly! I think next time I'll just hold the phone out and say "oh, he knows me" wants to talk to you, should I hang up on him AGAIN?:rotfl: they called like 3 times right in a row yesterday, I guess hoping someone else would answer but my coworker just kept hanging up on them. It can actually be amusing sometimes. If you were getting hung up on for months...would you REALLY continue to call:sad2: GIVE UP ALREADY!:rotfl2:

Some people just won't give up will they?? I have a company in Florida right now that calls all the time. I don't even remember what they are trying to sell because I don't talk to them. But they won't give up. It is one of those computer calls, where they wait for you to answer, then after a few seconds you can hear it click over and then they put a real person on the phone. Sorry if you aren't there when I answer, forget it!! I have taken to answering the phone then putting the receiver down. I can hear a person saying 'hello' hello' but all they hear from me is whatever TV show we have on, or music I am listening to. If I really wanted to be mean, I would make them listen to Matt's music!!!

Good afternoon all.

My friend has still not located her camera. She's bummed. The one person she thought might have brought it back with them didn't have it.

That is such a shame!! It would make me sick. Years ago Blake left on a business trip to Germany the day after we got back from a Disney vacation. Luckily I only had a few pics on the roll that was in the camera he took with him because it was stolen out of his luggage on the flight. I would have been devastated if I had lost all my vacation pics.

Thank for all the well wishes. I am hoping he can find something quickly, but I am still scared.

I'm sure Mike will do fine. Don't you worry too much about it. Spencer needs you to take care of yourself. How great that your appointment went so well. 31 weeks!! Spencer will be here before you know it:lovestruc

Lin- All that barking would drive me crazy! Good thing you called the police!

Amber- I'm glad you're appointment went well! I can't wait to "meet" him too!

Pozey- I'm sorry your friend still can't find her camera. My mom left her coat when she was in Vegas and didn't realize it until she got home. She called everywhere and they all said they didn't have it. She thinks she left it in the rental car.

Lyzziesmom- You sure did make out like a bandit!

Her and a bunch of friends went to the OU game Wednesday night. There is a picture of her taken by someone else and her camera is on her wrist (wrist strap). They were tailgating before the game. She thought she left it in the car. I told her that maybe she should call the stadium lost and found.

omg, my camera being stolen would crush me!!! that is terrible!

oh, that is too funny. Maybe Matts music would do the trick:rotfl2: REALLY loud too ;)

good idea:idea:

Is that 10 FEET of snow? Holy crap, I can't even imagine!! You could not pay me enough to go there. My parents went on a cruise to Alaska a few years ago and really liked it, but it was summer then and they still said it was pretty chilly.

they now have 4 parrots, umpteen canaries, 3 cats, and 8 dogs!!!

I AM an animal lover, but that is way too many animals! A person just can't properly care for that many. I had a friend in FL who had 7 cats in a tiny one-bedroom apartment, and hated cleaning the ONE litter box. It was so gross in her house, you could smell them down the hall outside. :scared: The cats always seemed unhappy too, they were always trying to escape. She claimed to love them all, but it was very sad. And then she wondered why nobody ever wanted to come to her house :headache:

My mom left her coat when she was in Vegas and didn't realize it until she got home. She called everywhere and they all said they didn't have it. She thinks she left it in the rental car.

It's very possible it was left in the rental car. My aunt used to work at a car rental agency cleaning cars between rentals. She was instructed to throw away or keep anything that was found in the car. She said every day she found several umbrellas and coats, toys, cassette tapes (it was a long time ago) and just tons of other stuff. If that were today, she'd make a fortune selling it all on eBay!

Wow...Donna...you should take the night off after such a lavish breakfast. Oh...your tree is just as beautiful as the breakfast.:thumbsup2 We have warmed up here too. Infact...it's supposed to be near 70 on Sunday; however, the wind will be blowing 30mph all weekend. I guess I'm just hard to please.;)

You guys have been chatting away. I'm trying to stay up with my reading. We got our new modem in the mail today so as soon as DH hooks it up (yes, there are some jobs I leave for my DH:thumbsup2 ) I'll be able to get back to my trip report. I think I will pick back up with our second Epcot day which started out at DTD and ended with the CP!:dance3:

Let's see if can hit the highlights....

Amber...are you feeling better today? I'm sorry you are not able to take anything for your cold. Did the Dr give you a list of "ok" meds? Hopefully, you will be able to fight it off yourself! I'm also very sorry about the timing for your DH to loose his job. I'm sure that is very frightening to you with a baby on the way. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong!:flower3: Glad your appointment went well!

lyzziesmom...I'm so glad Lyzzie is feeling better today. I'm sure she was very scared. She hung in there...a little crying should be expected with kids. I'm sure you and her were both exhausted after that experience. I'm sorry your mom didn't treat you more respectful. Hey, I wanted to tell you that our kids Dr also recommends the Delsym for coughs!

Lesa...is it official about Maddie's appt for Monday? I sure hope so. Oh, sorry to hear about the wheezing again. I hope it goes away as quick as it came on. Have you seen any difference with the Symbicort? We kind of got off on our meds before our trip and kinda haven't done so well since we've been home...oops.

Hey Pozey...nice goatee (did I spell that right)? What's wrong with trying something new every now and then!

Linda..girl...why did you go and get all sick?;) :flower3: Great pictures at Coral Reef! I have a picture of the sea turtle but we were on the second tier so it's hard to see. Kinda like my Lion shot...I'm the only one who knew it was there. :rotfl2: I'm looking forward to seeing more of you pictures! How did your Osborne lights come out? Tell Kenny and Mike hi. I told HisMajesty about needing to book SOG now for next Christmas. That guy told me NO....how rude.:scared1: :lmao: I think he knew I really didn't mean it...but what if he would have said yes?:woohoo: :yay:

Lin...so vacation is about over for you.:guilty: Hey, your neighbors should leave their dog inside if it barks at night. That's what we do. We had our neighbor/babysitter come over every night and let our dog in to sleep...so she wouldn't bark all night while we were gone! That's not cool. We had a dog like that at our old house and I had a newborn.

Ashley...I'm excited for you that you will be moving home near family. I'm sure the next few months will be very stressful...just keep your computer hooked up and we will get you though it. I'm not sure if I've commented on your pictures? They are just wonderful. I really like the formal pictures...you will be very glad you bought them. You two make a very lovely couple!:goodvibes

Hi Shannon...so how's the head? Was it allergies? Hope you are better!:flower3:

Hey 2x2s...how it's going girlfriend? Any scary dreams with crazy barbers? I think we need another picture. I'll see what I can find here in a bit. I think you will be home later tonight...right?:thumbsup2

Michele...have you gone back to school yet? Hope you guys will be getting a little of our warm weather...do you usually have snow on the ground all winter?

Hey DznyFan...how did you like our wind today?:rolleyes1 So it's the dining plan after all. I agree with Ashley...you should get to choose between an appetizer or a dessert. I guess if the DH wants the dining...the dining it is!;) Hey...I think it's getting close for us to be scheduling another lunch. I promise I'll let you and Pozey talk a littl!:rotfl:

I have some pics that DH downloaded to my laptop so I'll post a few while I'm waiting for the modem!:surfweb:

Hope everyone is having a good evening...oops...too many images! :-)

Hey YM!

I am feeling a bit better. Mike bought me a Vicks humidifier and I used it for a couple days. It seems to have helped. I do have a list of medications I can take, but I have to be careful because they can interact with my blood pressure medicine.

I spoke to my dad tonight and he offered Mike a job. I used to do the same work and it's not bad, but the drive and hours can be. (The drive is about 1 1/2 hours and the schedule it 9pm-7am four nights a week). Still, they money is decent. We only have one car, so I'll have to catch a ride to work with someone for now (I only live a mile from work, so it's not too bad).

I did find some openings at places nearby. They aren't the best, but at least it's something. I just hope that he's able to find something quickly.

Even though he's been wanting to leave his company for a while now, it still stinks that this happened so suddenly.

Hey Amber...the humidifier was a good idea. Isn't it amazing how all parts of the body change during pregnancy. It seemed hard enough for me to breath through my nose much less with a cold! I was pregnant with my second through the winter and he seemed like I and my 2 year were sick the whole time.

Oh, wow, that is a long drive but you are right about being able to find something quickly for some peace of mind. Stinks is a polite word.;)

Oh man......I just got the most sad e-mail from my friend. She is just devestated about losing her camera. She is going to take my advice and call the football stadium tomorrow. And the hotel she stayed at too.

She is just so sad.
