You didn't miss anything here----just a bunch of snow, as you can probably see, but it's supposed to melt within the next couple of days.

You'll have to take Nathan to see Alvin and the Chipmunks------very cute and funny!!! I was laughing out loud several times. The kids loved it!!!




Lesa----It may take you a while to get back to 100%----especially in this weather. Seems like everyone just keeps passing it around.
Your truffles sound good----where did you get that recipe???? I've never heard of anything like that------and simple.

Well, I'm back!!!

Nathan and I had an awesome time!! We did as much as we possibly could in 2 days!! I wish we could have stayed longer, but I don't regret making the trip!!

The castle lights were even MORE awesome in person and the Osborne lights were spectacular!!

Just wanted to pop in to say "Howdy".......going to go do some catching up.

I just made some fabulous truffles. They were so easy to make. All you do is crush a box of oreos until they are fine crumbs. Mix in a package of cream cheese until it forms a dough. Then roll into small balls, dip in melted chocolate. So easy and YUM!

I'm heading to bed, I still am not feeling 100%. Have a great night everyone!

Ok, I have a bit of bad news but not too bad. DS is feeling better but I had to go to the Dr today for a sinus infection of my own. I have lots of drugs to keep me happy and an antibiotic so I shouldn't suffer too much.

We braved the mall this evening. What was I thinking?? But the kids got to see Santa, and I stopped in TDS and lo and behold, they had one Mickey-head wreath left (which was NOT there last week) and it was 1/2 price. It has a nice new home now.

Yes!! We did meet Linda, Mike and Kenny at Epcot yesterday!! Nathan immediately felt comfortable with Linda's family and asked to go back to the table to sit with them while I ordered our lunch!! We discovered there's never a dull moment with Kenny and Nathan around!!
Kenny rode the green side of Mission: Space for the first time and made an excellent pilot!

I will post some pics tomorrow evening when I have more time.

I still haven't caught up with the thread. I got busy downloading my oics to my lapyop and then a minor emergency resulted in my having to did through the luggage for one of Nathan's souvenirs.

Nothing new here, just getting ready for my trip!! I'm so sad, we are dropping off Ruby at the Vet tomorrow It'll be the longest she's ever been boarded- 8 nights!!
