Hey, just finished playing Yatzee with Chris, my sis, her hubby and my dad. Good times!

I think we are going shopping in the morning, but around 9. My grandma is in town and wants to go Christmas shopping with everyone, so off we go! Other than that we might see Enchanted, and if we get done early enough my friend is having a house lighting party (her DH has spent the entire summer working on his Christmas light display, the news is coming and everything).

Day 2 Part 3

Holiday Wishes!!!

We found a spot to watch Wishes from and waited. It finally started and it was great!

Then we made our way to Tomorrowland and bought a MVMCP t shirt, mug and pins. Steven bought a Mickey Santa hat to keep his ears warm! And boy, those Santa hats really do keep your head and ears warm!

We then made our way to Main Street to snag a good spot for the parade. We found a good spot and I asked a lady if she was holding the spot and she said no, but that she thought someone had thrown up there. Well, I wasn't going to sit down even though the curb looked clean, I just stood there with Steven behind me. We stood there for about 15 minutes and my feet were killing me by then. Luckily the woman and her family ended up leaving their spot and I sat down there. The parade got started a few minutes later.

The parade was great! I loved it and it really put me in a Christmas mood.

We left after the parade was over and went back to the room.

Hi Lin! That's cool about the house lighting party, if you go be sure to take pics, I love to look at Christmas lights. There is a house not too far from us that goes all out! I mean, lights EVERYWHERE!!!! No one else even attempts to decorate. If I go by there, I'll be sure to take some pics.

Great pics Nicole! Your story about waiting for the parade reminds me of something that happened on our last trip. We saw people sitting down lining Main Street one evening when there was no Spectro that night. They started staking out seats at around 5pm - it wasn't even crowded that night! I double-checked everything, and even right on the board that displays the schedule for the day it didn't have any Spectro listed but people were sitting down right in front of it. We could overhear people talking, and many of them didn't even know what they were sitting down waiting for; they just saw other people doing it so figured it must be something good. Later that night, around 9pm (that's right... 4 HOURS later) we were walking back down Main Street to leave and overheard the following conversation:
"What's everyone waiting for?"
"The night parade."
"There's no parade tonight, the park is closing."
(a nearby woman screeching) "There's NO PARADE?! What the hell have we been waiting for all night?!"

I couldn't help but laugh.

Well my evil plan worked -- guess who woke up at 11:30 this morning? That's right, Emma did (and therefore ME!). Ahhhh, I feel so rested.

Sure wish I had some cheesecake for breakfast. I'm having a bowl of Trix without milk, because Emma got the last clean spoon and I don't feel like washing dishes right now.


Did anyone hit the early morning sales?
