When I read your posts I thought "I don't remember seeing that before!!! Child???!!! He obviously doesn't understand. I thought of tagging myself also, but can't think of anything clever!!!

Linda and Lyzziesmom:: Those blue tongues are hilarious!! When DS eats different colored candy, he has to show me his tongue,too. One time he ate quite a few of the green Fruit By The Foot and pooped bright green!!! He had to show me that too!!!

2x2s::That is such a sweet story about you nephew. I know you are going to miss them.

Tomorrow is DS's school open house. He got a postcard in the mail today from his new teacher!! I thought that was really nice. DS is NOT loooking forward to his 2nd grade teacher this year. Mrs.xyz has been teaching for 40 years at the same school and the same grade. I don't think she has moved from her exact location since she taught my sister 40 years ago!!! Getting the postcard surprised him, I think. He is used to having the young "fun" teachers!!! Friday he goes to school for 2 hours and starts full days on Monday.

So, where did everybody go????

This reminds me the other day when I was with my niece--we were telling knock-knock jokes and I said, like the enthusiastic auntie that I am--ooohh, I've got one----knock knock; who's there?? Orange-----------and she stops me laughing, saying, "that's not how it goes, it's banana, banana, orange you glad I didn't say banana??" I felt a bit ummm, what's the word??? You can fill it in.

What's with Emma and her attraction to the potty bowl?? I'm getting a tad concerned. But how can you be upset with that cutie?? Does the 5 second rule apply to toilets??

Luckily, I cannot get onto the oceangram thingie----I'm pretty sure it's because of my stone-age service. Darn.

wow, 40 years of teaching?? Bless her!!!! Have you met her yet?? I cannot believe she taught your sister. What does your sister think of her?? I am sure she has changed over the years. It does say alot, though, she must be a pretty good teacher to be able to do it for so long. Obviously the district thinks highly of her.

Yep, we will keep the pressure on you because I once again had to laugh out loud... while reading...not good when you are drinking a coke. I will send you an up close photo with no hat and minus the glasses and then you can see me better. Oh...how precious about your DNephew

lyzziesmom...I guess I shouldn't have said boring about the blue/green eyes and that is hardy believable that Emma has mexican in her blood...no physical sign at all...wow. We start school tomorrow too. My oldest will be in third grade and my baby will start first grade. They both know several kids in their class...we get to request teachers.
