Sorry there was no breakfast this am (Well, not THAT sorry!) I'll make up for it when I get home, or we could have an evening snack! DH, DS, and I had a late lunch at Rainforest Cafe today. That Volcano Glass Mai Tai was just what I needed. Hey Mom's on vacation!!! We are spending this evening at the Royal Plaza in DTD. Tomorrow we move to the Doubletree Suites. RP room is nice, but just don't really care for the "feel" of the place. As we say in my family-striking this one off the list!!
Tomorrow is going to be our day at AK. Let me know if you all don't think going on Sun is a good idea. It's not a EMH day. Gotta try EE!!!!
Anyway--that is where in the world I am!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: princess:

I had so much to catch up on. DH told me I can't be on the computer all night!!

2xcited2slp:: DS had so much sugar and caffeine yesterday I don't think he fell asleep until about 1am. If I knew you were still up we could have had a party!!!

I'll keep posting when I can. I almost forgot!! Tomorrow night is our Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. at Hollywood & Vine, after all I've heard hope the food is edible!!

Cupcake What were you doing up at this hour...! Hope you didn't have to work the early shift.

Babe--what does it look like I was doing??-----NOT SLEEPING. Or maybe, just maybe I was waiting for Ranger to mysteriously show up.

And yes, I did have to work early today--ZOMBIE. I'm not sure if I even made sense to any of my clients. Many moments of thinking one thing and saying something different.

So, you had a night of peace and quiet, did you?? And what did you do?? popcorn:: Never mind, not sure we want you to answer that. You went to IHOP and had a funnel cake, didn't you??

HELLO LYZZIESMOM

Does that hurt your head, or are you over it already?? A bloody mary is the best cure for a night of overdoing it--so I've heard. My goodness, between your cold medicine and your evening of crazy slammin' back a few, I bet you were a piece of work today. How many fingers do I have up?? Wrong!!!!!

Did butt-crack boy really say that about the neighbors not bathing?? Maybe that is his hygiene of choice but he has to realize it' snot everyone's. (Like my tribute to Lyzzie?? Hi Lyzzie and Emma :wave2: ----very cute, BTW)

Sing this to the tune of B52's Love Shack---
"butt-crack, baby, butt-crack

Stepped into my laundry room/pantry today and discovered the lake has returned............... Much flashlighting and butt-crack-showing later,

This gives new meaning to "Moon River"

I know. Enough.

Hope everthing turns out okay. I bet you are really itching to get into your house now.

Hey guys-----

Look-- Donna called!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Donna--Hi!!!  :bitelip: :bitelip: :wave2: :wave2:

Our current link to the world. :yay: :yay: :yay:

Yes, if I knew you were up late last night too, I could have met you at the airport bar and we could have been lounge lizards. Lyzziesmom had enough already so I don't think she could have made it. I'm pretty sure she would have hurled.

I have been thinking about you all day, wondering what you guys are doing. How's the weather?? How was your flight?? How was your dinner?? How did your Mai Tai fare?? How was your drive from the airport?? How long are the lines?? How was your walk to your room?? How do I come up with these stupid questions??

Have so much fun and thanks for checking in and beware of the Yeti.

:thumbsup2 :sunny: :thumbsup2 :sunny: :thumbsup2 :sunny:

P.S. If you make it over to the Poly, have a Lapu Lapu for me. Always wanted to try, but not sure I can wait till Oct.

Where is everyone??

Golly gee wilakers---you'd think it was a Saturday night and everyone is out on the town.

Maybe this is why I am not out on the town--I say golly gee wilakers. :confused3 :teeth:

Hi everyone! :wave2: ( I love that smiley!!)

Well, today DH's aunt went and bought the car we need. We gave her money for some of the downpayment and she put some money down, too. Well this woman is a psycho. She raised DH with his grandma and she is just a total psycho and I bet I could beat all your MIL stories! She went and bought the TOTAL OPPOSITE of the car that he wanted. She never listens and I can't believe she even got that stupid car now! I should've known better to trust her...And she's just being really nasty, I don't even want to post what she says to us on here.

We wanted to get a car in Florida because when we move back home soon, we didn't want the hassle of switching the registry/license plates, etc. Well I AM FREAKING OUT because I can't stand this woman, and we have to figure out how to GET the car now. I DO NOT want her driving the car up here and then wanting to stay at my house, and criticize every single thing about our place etc.

ANYWAY, so we are looking at flying down and driving the car from FL to VA. Well I was looking at prices to fly a couple weeks ago, anticipating this and it was only $99/pp with a weeks notice. Now they are like $250 pp! What happened? And I'm not really sure what to do about Ruby, either. We don't have anywhere to take her because she needs to be spayed still and thats a requirement for most boarding places, and her appointment isn't for acouple weeks. So I think I am going to fly down Wednesday, spend a couple days down there with family, DH is going to fly down Friday with Ruby and we are going to drive up Saturday and Sunday..OMG it sounds like a total nightmare! But atleast we will have air conditioning now in the car. That's a plus!!

Does anybody have any songs downloaded to send to me?? :teeth: It's going to be a loooong drive.

Oh! GUESS WHAT. I guess DH's boss (pansy boy) heard that he was shopping around for a new job and that he had gotten a few replies already from his resume. Well, he came into DH's office and basically said, "I know you are underpaid, I'm so sorry about that, you are really important to this company and I think of you as a son, I know I still owe you that bonus that I promised you and I didn't forget, and I want to re-evaluate your salary after I talk to a few investors on Monday. I want to right this wrong blah blah blah, and Please don't leave!" DH was really shocked that he said that, and he feels better. All I have to say to this guy is, put your money where your mouth is!! He even offered to give us some money for a downpayment for a new car, ofcourse he didn't accept but he really appreciated the gesture.

SO..besides that trama of his aunt buying whatever she wants and not caring about us, today was good.. DH & I went to Target, spent too much money and then we decided we wanted to go to this Chinese place by our old apartment. I love their teriyaki steak and I was craving it. Well we go to order and they didn't have any steak. :guilty: So we went to Ruby Tuesdays and it was just gross. Now I think we're going to watch a movie.

2xcited: Oh, I'd love to hear all your crazy brazilian wax stories!! dish, dish! :teeth: Oh, sorry Pozey, you probably don't wanna hear about that!!

Donna! Have a great time on your trip!! OH, I would love to go to Rainforest Cafe right now..

Lyzziesmom: Sorry about the flood. What a nightmare. That's so funny how Emma liked the Beverly. I dont remember ever tasting it, even though I love Israel's soda. I'll have to have DH taste it first and trick him and get his reaction on film!!! Hope you feel better.

BTW, Doesn't everybody just love the new Dis radio? I am really enjoying it!!

I think this rivaled 2xcited's longest post...

Now that I think about it...I bet you went on a run for a couple of candy bars or some Tastykakes. :rotfl2:

edited to add I had to settle for a chocolate long john...also i was really craving a jelly donut. :rolleyes1

 Hey Donna: thanks for letting us be on vacation with you(I pretended to be eating in the rain forrest cafe). We did Hollywood and Vine for the fantasmic package and really enjoyed the food...hopefully you will have a good experience because I know it's $$$. Have fun at Animal Kingdom....I guess you will get to experinece the new attraction there. :Pinkbounc

2xcited: More of the KNEE problem tonight? The IN-SOM-KNEE-YA?? I think you are our resident night owl! After last night, I am back to having no life for the next several months so "hoot hoot!" Oh, and my rambling incoherently comment was referring to myself. I'm always surprised when anyone responds to me, I think I'm quite boring and imagine people skipping right over me, saying "Oh no, it's her... again?!?" And hey chica, stop yelling at me!! ;) I have recovered quite nicely thank you, it actually wasn't such a bad hangover considering my receipt shows 14 drinks :scared1: (... is that humanly possible? I suppose so! Ok well they were doubles, so technically it was "only" 7) and the end of the evening is a little fuzzy. Ok a lot fuzzy. I swear I'm not a lush, really I'm not! :drinking1 Of course if I was, isn't that exactly what I would say??

My goodness, what you all must think of me... first the tattoos & now my Annual Bingedrinkfest! Next I'll be telling you about the time I ... oops I've already said too much. Please destroy your monitor after reading this. :badpc: Now you all have to tell me your dirty little secrets. :ssst:

I was also wondering where everyone went today - out enjoying Saturday I suppose, and spending too much money at Target.

Tomorrow I start packing for the Big Move. I still have no idea what to do with the Pepto-pink bathroom. I was thinking I'd paint the cabinets white, replace the floral nightmare wallpaper (maybe just white paint also) and get a nice white shower curtain & accessories. Saw some cute stuff at Target that would do nicely, very simple & elegant. I'd love to frame a couple of vintage Barbie prints & put them in there, but the few I found online were ridiculously pricey! I'm sure I'll come up with something, and in the meantime, it gives me an excuse to buy magazines for ideas, and to SHOP!! I love shopping, it's the part where they make you pay that I'm not so fond of.

Donna: Glad to hear you're having a good time! I completely forgot you'd be posting while there, so imagine my surprise at seeing you here!! Enjoy EE, you will love it! I rode it twice on my last trip and it is Lyzzie's new favorite ride. Say hi :wave2: to the Yeti for me!

Ashley: Your aunt-in-law (?) and my mom need to get together & go bowling or something. Oh, the stories they could share! Gotta love when someone offers to do something for you and then pulls the old switcheroo. Makes you feel like a heel if you complain, because they did you a FAVOR, but heck it's still all wrong. :furious: Glad to see that Pansy Boy is coming to his senses. Sometimes it takes the threat of losing someone to realize how much they are needed. Am I still talking about work, or did I just have a Dr. Phil moment? Oh, and the Beverly tastes quite a bit like cough syrup, without the sugar and the flavor. Pretty much just the bitter. Yum. Now that I think about it, it shouldn't surprise me that Emma liked it so much - the girl will eat anything. She nearly ate a live spider the other day. :crazy2: <-- this is one of my favorite smilies, I make this face a lot myself! I just realized that's the 2nd creepy spider story in a week. (WARNING: I am soon to make it to #3.) The exterminator was just at my apartment last week so the crawlies are all coming out of their hidey-holes to die. But they do like to give me one last good scare before checking out. Could be worse though - last month my mom woke up and found a spider crawling around in her mouth! :scared:  :crazy2: :faint: There is just not enough toothpaste & Listerine in the world to make that ok.

With that lovely thought, I am going to say goodnight! And pleasant dreams! And don't sleep with your mouth open!

Hi Ashley :wave2:

Wow, seems like some things just come with too many strings attached. Good luck getting all the kinks figured out on how to get your car. :headache: :scratchin

I'm glad to hear you DH's boss has come around...did he mention when he might get his raise?

Sorry to hear about your dinner...you are probably having a little snack now. popcorn:: Last night my DH and I went to Red Robins and it took 30 minutes to get our food which was cold. Then the waitress charged the wrong ticket to our credit card...sure made and evening out of dinner.

Oh...we always spend too much in Target too. ::yes:: Including a $4 coffee drink from starbuks. :rolleyes1

OMG, that is the grossest thing I've ever heard!! I would have FREAKED OUT!!!

BTW, does anybody ever have problems with their smilies? I only have the ones that are on the right side of the page, when I click 'more' the window never shows up! :confused3 Anybody know how to fix this??

Oohh, pretty green lights.

My girls are back. I don't see Pozey around, so I think it is safe to say this.

Let's get this party started. Why does this sound so cheesy??

I am going to read posts--be right back.

Everyone stay where you are. :dance3:

 Ok, the truth is I have one about once a week...I flip the light on and start searching around the bed while DH is giving me a good  :teeth: He does have to put up with alot.

Love the pics of Emma...I know my kids tried the Berverly and I didn't even bother getting a pic...what's up with that. :sad2:

Glad to hear you a making a full recovery...did you do any conga dancing last night? :dance3: :dance3: :wave2:

I know I said goodnight, but my pants are apparently on fire, because I'm still here. I actually just stepped outside to get my book from my car but whoops, I must have left it at work (I read during my lunch break - when I'm not at Target) and when I came back in what did I see right outside the front door? Yep you guessed it... spider. I don't freak out over snakes, mice, rats, bats... but anything with more than 4 legs gives the major heebie-jeebies.

Is this a pajama party? If not, it is now. I think I am going to make myself a nice raspberry daiquiri... virgin of course.

Conga dancing? I'm gonna go with no. Table dancing.... also no. I'm more of a chatty drunk, so there is a distinct possiblity that I said something stupid and/or embarassing. However, liquor is not necessary for that to happen! :hyper2:

Here ya go Ashely!

Anyone else? Quick, before I put the blender away.

Sorry, dial-up connection bad. Freddy boy has to work harder at the rock quarry to keep it going.

Ash--family drama. Yippee. Your aunt-in-law sounds like a control freak. She probably does this so she can say that you owe her. Don't let it get you down. Kill her with kindness, baby.
Wow, pansy boy had a major eye-opener. Glad to hear you DH is appreciated. He needs to keep them sweating.
Brazilian stories cannot be shared where possible lurkers can see. Private(s) conversation--eww gross.

BTW, Doesn't everybody just love the new Dis radio? I am really enjoying it!!

I cannot enjoy it because--yep--you guessed it ------dial-up.

Fred, dear, get a real job so we can afford faster service. Love, Wilma
