Well, it's Friday/almost Saturday-----
how's everyone?? good/bad/indifferent??
Not much going on at my end. I worked this afternoon into tonight and just got home a little while ago. Work was work. Nothing special--no crazy clients to speak of, no drama, no strange brazilian waxing stories (insert smilie with hand over mouth). Those stories will have to wait until our cliqueless meet.
Donna--I know you are starting your vacation already, spending the night in my neck of the woods (just call me Al Roker)--near Lambert airport, but I just wanted to thank you for the lovely breakfast and being so generous with your lottery winnings. I was not able to partake in the festivities this morning but I enjoyed breakfast for dinner--or late night snack and might I say it was light as air and oh so yummy. Even better that is was calorie free.
Again, have a wonderful and safe trip and know that we are thinking about you. Can't wait to hear about it when you get back. We'll miss you.
P.S. I wanted to add that I always listen to Sarah Brightman (complete and utterly opera--told ya I have an eclectic taste in music) when I clean--to the point that one time my mom called and I didn't have time to turn the music down and she said "oh, are you cleaning?" What gave her the first clue?? (did I just admit that I cleaned??--I meant when the little maidies clean they listen to Sarah--their cleaning music of choice)
MImom--have a good trip to Illinois. Be safe.
P & PD that you have heard from DH.
Good weekend to you and talk to you Monday.
Amber--WHAT is going on?? Sounds like a bit of trouble on the homefront. I agree, sometimes homeownership can be a pain in the booty but then I just keep thinking of the investment part of it. Whatever--tell me that when I feel like the house is falling apart around me.
You can have a partially new (used maybe 10 times) lawnmower that is sitting outside in my garage. The oil needs to be drained because I don't know what the *&^$%$ I am doing and just kept adding oil because it would not start and I thought it just needed more (and more and more) oil.

It just kept smoking and finally my neighbor came out (who NEVER talks to anyone) and says to me and I quote "Your going to kill yourself like that -that't carbon monoxide." Well, alrighty then--I turned it off, sullenly put it back in the garage and have never touched it since. That was two years ago. My cousin says the oil needs to be drained. I am not meant to cut the grass anyway because my ex used to say that I used to cut pretty patterns in the lawn. Needless to say, I hire a service now.
Try to have a better weekend.
Linda--

Your story made me cry. Why do people have to be this way. I am so glad you got out of that relationship. You and your ds deserve so much better than that and it sounds like you have found it. Thank goodness. You are a lucky girl. But I have a feeling you know this already. Your relationship with your DH and DS is very touching.
Thank you again for your thoughts on the job situation.
Oh my goodness--just read about your ex-and his lawyer witch. How dare they. Good luck.
DznyFan--Yay, DD is coming home. I'm sure you will tend to her every wish and need. Holey moley, that is an expensive A/C problem. I'm sure she appreciates it though. Have a good weekend and try to relax, huh??
Nicole--Prayers for your grandma. Hope her surgery went well and she is feeling alright--or as good as to be expected. Keep us posted on her recovery.
Lyzziesmom--What's up with these jerky men?? No offense Pozey--I am sure you are lovely.
I am so sorry this happened to you. Linda's story does give us hope, though. If you find a good man, ask him if he has a brother and I will do the same for you.
Glad you're feeling a little better today. I am sure tomorrow will even be more promising.
Oh, and BTW--poop, poop and more poop.
Ashley--No worries--we're good at lending an ear.

or two.
MnParrothead--great name. Jump in anytime. All are welcome.

Or we can just ramble incoherently... that's lots of fun too!
WHO RAMBLES?????? Certainly not I.
DznyFan and Lyzziesmom-- Little secrets, have we??

We won't ask where.
Oh, and Amber too??
YM--

Glad you enjoyed the ode to the '70's. My sister, our neighbor girl and I used to play "Charlie's Angels" down our basement. It was fixed up with groovy wood paneling, a wetbar, pool table, big couch pit--do you see it in your head?? I was always Kelly (Jaqueline Smith), my sis was Chris (what's her name ---------not Farrah----the other blonde---it'll come to me, maybe) and the neighbor girl was Sabrina (Kate Jackson). We used to cook up these scenerios and play them out to catch the "bad guys". I guess you could say this was the beginning of my Stephanie Plum days.
"hello angels, this is Charlie"
Cheryl Ladd.
Say the word on a WDW girls trip----Pozey may want to join us--we'll let him.
Oh, April, dear---where are you sweetpea?? Everything okay??
My, you guys keep my up waaay too late!!!! I have to work in the morning. I supppose Donna can't pitch breakfast out of the plane, can she??
Au Revoir
