Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

I'm such an idiot. I've been trying for about a month now to get to the post office and buy stamps. I can't get there after work before they close, and something else always comes up at lunchtime. And of course it's a zoo at lunchtime anyway. I really want the Disney stamps and don't want to settle for the regular ones that I can get from the machine. This of course is the main reason for my delay in getting my Christmas cards out.

Well it just now occurred to me that the post office has a website, and probably sells stamps online. Why did I not think of this before? It only costs an extra dollar and it's SO worth the convenience of not having to go stand in line at the p.o. They also have a bunch of other really cute Disney stuff that matches the stamps - it was very hard to restrain myself from buying it all!

So I apologize, but my cards probably won't come until after Christmas. I figure as long as they arrive before New Year's it's still appropriate, right? I'm SO bad about getting cards out on time -- by the time I was ready to the thank-you note to my grandparents for attending my wedding, the marriage was already over!

wow - where is everybody tonight? I'm taking a break from the last of the deep clean. Dad comes tomorrow.

I think everybody's on vacation. Lucky them!

I had to go to Target tonight and surprisingly it wasn't crowded at all. I decided to give the Kodak picture kiosk thingy a try - never used it before. It was super easy! So I selected 20 instant prints with a nice card border, and they printed out and the screen said $0.00, and the receipt printed out with a barcode on it. The lady at the photo counter said her register wasn't working and just to take it up to the cashier when I was done shopping, so I did. The cashier scanned it, and it still came up $0.00! I showed her the envelope full of prints and told her I hadn't paid for them, and she just said, "Well I guess you don't have to then."

So I got my photo cards for free! And they came out super cute!
Also my Bon Jovi tickets came in the mail, and so did my Magical Express documents. Good thing today happened to be the ONE day that I got the mail and Lyzzie didn't!!

Today must be my lucky day.

Funny Lyzzie story:

She was telling me tonight about a new movie one of her classmates was talking about. A new movie called "Terminator 2" and how at the end, some guy named Albert Swartzenegger says "Hasta La Vista, Bay-bay."

Lyzziesmom, not a bad day for you! Great Lyzzie story! Bay-bay.

Hi!!

We just got back a little while ago. Went out to eat, hit Walmart to print some pictures and made a stop at the video store to get Harry Potter and POTC#3.

DznyFan:: Jeepers!! What an ordeal at Walmart. You definitely have more patience than I.

pozey:: Cute story about Chase and his swim coach.

Shannon:: I got your card today!!
Your wine tasting really sounds like fun!! That's so neat that you got the day off to surprise Ashley!!

lyzziesmom:: Sounds like you made out pretty good at Target!!:woohoo: I didn't send a picture in my cards this year.
That's funny about Lyzzie's classmate!! A new movie, huh??:cool2:
Has Emma's Leapster been found?

I got a message from Linda yesterday that I actually just read this morning. She said Kenny was worried that he wouldn't see Nathan again until he was 7 and a half!!

I wish I could get motivated; I really need to be wrapping Christmas presents.

I looked on Linda's spreadsheet and they are planning on going to AK today, also!
They will LOVE watching Wishes with the castle lights. Nathan was even impressed with it and sang the Wishes song on the way home that night.:earsboy:

How about some French Toast to get us going this morning?

I hope you all have a Thrilling Thursday!:simba:

I forgot to mention that I finally looked at Nathan's school calendar online yesterday morning.....they don't go back to school until Jan. 7th!!
Gary is going to try to take a few vacation days off during that time frame. Had I known about this the whole family could have made a trip to WDW after the New Year. I would have missed out on all the special Holiday/Castle lights, etc., though. Maybe I'll pay more attention next year.:rolleyes1

Have a great day, everyone!!

Here's a pic I thought I would post of the CBR. I took it during our walk to the foodcourt on Monday morning. We stayed in Martinique, building 21.

Good morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- I wish I could take a little vacation like that!

I had the worst evening and night! I took my medicine on an empty stomach and was so nauseous! I was debating on asking the manager if I could go home, but decided to stick it out. Then I ate dinner and was fine for the rest of the night. And during the night I thought I had a UTI. I was up every two hours! I don't want my bladder issues coming back! :faint: Ugh, I feel nauseous right now, I just took my last pill.

Hello All!

Lyzziesmom, congrats on the free photos!

Nicole, I hope you feel better.

Well, I had another doctor's appointment today and I will not be starting the diabetes medication yet. My three month blood test (it shows how my glucose levels have been over time) came back wonderful. Plus, with the exception of two days, my daily glucose levels have been good. So, it was decided that we will wait and see how my levels are over the next week. I REALLY, REALLY hope I don't have to start the medication (I haven't picked it up yet, because I was going to wait until this weekend to start due to the side effects).

I haven't gained any weight and my blood pressure is great. I'm 29 weeks today and getting more freaked out by the day. I can't wait for him to be here, but I am terrified of what has to happen in order to see him.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

I like what you've done with your hair. :lmao:

Nicole: I hope you're feeling better! I've learned the hard way not to take certain meds on an empty stomach. :scared: And not to skip certain other ones, it can be just as bad! The worst part is, you know you need to eat in order to feel better, but you feel so nauseous you don't want to eat. Blecch. Oh no, I hope your bladder issues aren't coming back! I still get up a lot at night too, it's ridiculous. It bothers me more this time of year when it's so cold -- I'm thinking, my bathroom is tiny, how much could it possibly cost to put in a small sqare of heated tile? And maybe a heated seat while we're at it?

So, it was decided that we will wait and see how my levels are over the next week.

Good luck! I would think that would be really hard, since it's Christmas week!

Wow it's getting close. You need a ticker so we can keep track! ;) I was really scared of giving birth too. But I gotta hand it to the Big Guy -- He knows what He's doing. By the time your due date comes around, you will be MORE than ready to get that baby out of there. Having done this twice, I can tell you my thoughts. Of course, I had epidurals and painkillers up the wazoo so your experience may be slightly different. Honestly, the contractions were the worst part. It feels (SKIP THIS PART POZEY!!) like menstrual cramps and diarrhea cramps combined, but more intense. Forget anything you've seen on tv or in the movies about birth -- it's not like that at all. The actual birth part is relatively easy - gravity takes over and before you know it, you're holding a baby and nothing else matters. I will tell you something NOBODY bothered to mention to me: recovery HURTS. (POZEY, I MEAN IT! IF YOU'VE MADE IT THIS FAR, SKIP THIS PART TOO!! Also if you're squeamish skip this part that means you 2x2s.) For 4-6 weeks you will need lots of maxipads and the hospital gives you a handy little ketchup bottle for warm water. It ain't pretty. Your diaper bag will contain more paraphernalia for you than it does for the baby.

But here's the most important part -- you won't care. It's all okay. It doesn't matter how many other babies you've known in your life, there is nothing in the world like looking into your baby's face and seeing a little piece of you, and a little piece of your SO, and a little piece of God.

Awww....Lyzziesmom, you brought tears to my eyes! I want a baby now! (Although I think Steven would suggest waiting a little while longer! )

Amber- I'm glad you don't have to take meds just yet! I know next week will be hard though with all the food around! I can't believe you're 29 weeks! It seems like you just told us yesterday.
