boy I am behind> I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

DH had a party for work Tues night at the bowling alley, they have their Holiday party early since its too busy around Thanksgiving and Christmas (all natural grocery biz) yep it was a costume party, I dressed up as a Steelers Fan! Not really a stretch for me. Then Weds at work we all dressed up as fans of our fav sports team (Steelers again for me). I bought candy just in case but we didnt even have one knock on the door~~I think in the 13 or so years we have been here, maybe we have had 1 or 2 trick or treaters!!!
Well I am glad that it is Friday and I willl try to catch up this weekend, I am too behind~

I have absolutely NO idea what to serve for breakfast today. I made CC cookies last night, too.
Yeah, YM, as if the polish sausage wasn't bad enough. I had to bake cookies so the cardiologist could earn his $$$$$!!

I think I've finally got my breakfast out of the oven. I'll share with you guys!!

I've read about all the fixing, painting and chores you do around the house!! You are awesome!!!
BTW....I loved the girls' costumes!!

Off from work today - yay Just wish I felt better. Busy day, tho - housecleaning, laundry and eye doctor. Was going to go to the HS game tonight - E's DBF has been after us to come to one, and this is the last one. Course I'm not going to the lake place, and getting guilted about that. Why am you going to the game? He's not your kid, so there's no reason you need to go.

Maybe that's why I have a headache.

I (can, but choose not to) don't eat much milk, and rarely white - only dark for me. They had sliced rice krispy treats, little pound cake squares, graham cracker covered marshmallows, oreo covered marshmallows, little brownie squares (chocolate dipped in chocolate), bananas, strawberries and cheesecake on the dessert plate for the chocolate. The best were the bananas and the pound cake.

I'm drooling right now.... Have a good day off, and go to the game and have fun!

Lesa you are an incredible mom! When I was her age...I told my mom I wanted to be just like her and sit at home all day and watch soap operas! You are the total opposite of her. you're involved in their lives! You go to the school, you have them in activities, you take a BIG part in their lives and are an awesome mom! I loved their costumes!! Gracie she really IS a devil

Oh crud, is it morning already? I can't wake up!! Emma crawled into bed with me around 4am, and as we snuggled I noticed a telltale lump in her rear area. She said she did it in my bed! She says she tried to tell me she had to go but I didn't answer so she just decided to snuggle. I very well may have not heard her, maybe because oh I don't know... it was FOUR AM!!

Lesa: Turn on your heat girl, you're making me cold! Ohhh, cookies sound great. Please make mine a little doughy too -- in fact, skip the baking, I'll just take a spoonfull of dough. Oh the kids (and Gracie) are just too adorable! I love the Dorothy costume, did someone make that? I've wanted Lyzzie to be Dorothy every year, but she never wants to -- and here in KS, that's the first costume to sell out, usually the DAY they get put out in the stores.

Hi Shannon! Wow, a holiday party already? That IS early! So they just roll all their holidays up into one, huh? Sounds like a good time.

I had a ton more chores at her age than she does. I might have to do something about that...

DznyFan: Hope your headache clears up. Sometimes even just a glass of wine will give me a headache too because I get very dehydrated. Try drinking tons of water, hopefully that will help. Find some time in your busy day to rest, and don't let anyone guilt you for doing what YOU want to!!


The car dealership just called, they didn't have the second key for me the other day and it's ready now so I guess I'll be swinging by there this afternoon to pick it up. The car had JUST been put out on the lot for sale so they didn't even have everything ready yet! (and I still like it today too )
I still need to go by the mechanic's shop too and get some stuff out of my old car (now my dad's car). I especially need to make sure I get my Mickey emblem off the back and my Minnie antenna topper, I feel nekkid without them!

I almost forgot (I do that a lot, don't I?)... the financing guy at the car dealership noticed my Minnie watch and Mickey checks and made a comment that we must really love Disney. I told him he has no idea... and then he was telling me how he takes his family every year! Being that he had all my financial info in hand, he was pretty impressed to hear that we went 3 times this year. It's always nice to unexpectedly find someone to talk Disney with!

There was a guy there (adult) dressed as Jack Sparrow, and while he was in line at Sonic kids were lining up to have their picture taken with him! He was completely in character, flailing his arms around and mildly insulting the children, and he even had the voice down. I'd say he was nearly as good as the ones I've seen at WDW. Lyzzie's friend thought he was the "real" Jack Sparrow (but I knew better ). I didn't take a picture because I would have felt dumb, but when I saw that the first thing I thought was, "I have to tell my DISfriends about this!"

No way! That is so awesome!! Kenny would have loved that too!!! The Jack that was on the cruise was ok..but this guy sounds better! 2x would have chased him down for sure!!!

Linda - I wish we were all closer, too! Oh a night out would just be a hoot! (pun intended)

Pozey - just got in from dinner. I'm stuffed. It was really good, and really expensive. I know the smores chocolate was recommended, but I went with the pure chocolate - dark. pound cake dipped in hot dark chocolate.... amazing.

Thanks everyone for the comments on my little guys. I was looking at that picture of my DS with the long hair and I could see some resemblance...plus you can rarely see his dimples and they showed up in that picture.

DISer, maybe?? There's not too many of us from KC y'know! Oh the Jack in the mall was so funny... some of the kids I think didn't even want their pictures with him but the MOMS were pushing them into it! I really should have snapped a pic with my camera phone but I felt too silly. Yes, you CAN go to the Melting Pot just for dessert, I used to do it all the time! If you go to their website you can see if there's one nearby, and join their "Fondue Club" email list and they will send you coupons and notices of special events at your closest one. I get them once in a while but it's about 20 mins away in downtown KCMO at the Plaza and we don't go down that way much, only a couple times a year. Now I want to take the kids, I know they'd love it! I'd have to find a new favorite flavor though, don't want them liquored up on Amaretto. (but they sure would sleep good for me )

You're cracking me up, they wouldn't know what an ADR is! Like I said, I haven't been to one in YEARS but I never made a reservation. I'd just walk in and never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I would only go for dessert, because I can't stand to look at raw meat.
