Sorry, my computer is working at a snail's pace tonight, so patience, please.

Pozey---how are you feeling?? Did you end up going home, or did you stick it out??
I bought Peter Pan also----it's one of my favorites. And I didn't fall asleep!!!
Yay for being able to see pics again!!!:woohoo:

Amber----the cherry blossom pics are gorgeous!!! Do you believe I have never been to that part of the country?? It looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I'm working on them! Oklahoma is not very well represented unless you count Oral Roberts (who you ask??...an automatic bid from the mid continent league). Last year they were a 16 seed against Memphis. They did beat Kansas at Kansas this year and have jumped up to a 13 seed. My team is going to the NIT.

WHATCHU SAY????:confused3 :confused3 :lmao:

:cool2: ------>(baskin-robbins Morelli):rotfl:

Lesa----sorry to sock the salmon story on ya-----I'm sure it's just a rumor.

Where are shamrock shakes, I must ask???? I noticed Jack in the Box has Andes Mint shakes-------NO, I have not had one!!! I promise.:cutie: (yet)

Yep, that's exactly what this guy (did I mention he is at least in his mid-40's??) looks like!!!! I swear I'm going to bring one of those black eye mask thingies and hand it to him and say, "here, wear this----you'll be a little less conspicuous!!!!":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Miss Linda!!!!! I see you're still dreamin' of Disney!!!!! Mike agreed to the '08 cruise???:woohoo: :woohoo: What a man!!!
How's Kenny???? Hi dude!!!

Lin----I have AAA for homeowners and auto, as well. Never really had any problem with them. I think I could get a cheaper rate for auto, but keep it with the homeowners.
How's work??

Nicole----you are so sweet for doing a friend a favor by selling Mary Kay. Will you have certain goals to make????

Lyzziesmom----that is a BIG BUDDHA!!!! :lmao: Emma looks like an ant next to it!!!
I never did get to go to sleepaway camp for anything. I hope Lyzzie enjoys herself.
I would definitely call the dr. to see if the swelling is a normal reaction to the meds.

Michele----good luck to Matt on his baseball tryouts. Don't you just love when they decide at the last minute they need something new. (sounds like I have kids, don't I??)

what in the world is Pinecone Research that you all are waiting to be accepted or not???? I feel so out of the clique.:rolleyes1

ANGELA!!!!!!!
Where you been hiding yourself, chickie????
So good to see you here. We miss you!!!
How are you feeling????
How are the boys???? Are they excited about Disney?? I see you are leaving in just a few days. How fun!!!!
I went to Knoxville years ago when they held the World's Fair. I think it was the summer before my freshman year in high school. I don't remember a whole lot about the city though,----- my sister and I were just concentrating on flirting with the bellhops at our hotel.:lmao:

Donna----Sounds like you kept yourself busy after work. It's so nice to get everything spring cleaned outside.
Ahhh, my childhood memories just came back of playing outside, then my mom telling us it was time to come in and HATING it!!! Awww, mom, do we have to????

Ashley---I think (know) I would have walked out too!!! High pressure sales is one thing, but to talk about clients to potential clients is uncalled for. Plus, what's up with all the extremely personal questions?? Not right. You did the right thing.
The pics are cracking me up-----especially the one where Jeremiah is pretending to throw Ruby in the dumpster.:rotfl2: Terrible in a funny way.
How sweet of your mom for the care package and gifts----and to your hubby.

I looked up the case of the Snack Bandit and I found out that he is a legitimate crook. Shifty eyes, tries to divert attention but is painfully obvious while stealing various snack food varieties, especially cookies. I found a file photo of the suspect:

.....

.....

cookie_monster.jpg

Athough conflicting reports have reported a suspect resembling the guy on the left in the following file photo.
cookiecrisp.gif

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

yep, that's him!!!

Now, just add in a mom that tells him that's enough and the picture is complete. (you can tell on her face that she's is so uncomfortable with what he's doing:sad2: )

The guy's got a problem, I tell ya!!!

Lyzziesmom, I loved all the pics from the museum and the Girl Scouts camp! Although I don't think I would handle the camping part too well ;)

I just gave Ruby a bath and she's running around the house like a wild woman!!! She has a vet appointment this Saturday for some shots :sad2:

2x, I would have done the same thing regarding the snack bandit. Some people are just so greedy!!! :sad2: Atleast you told, thats all you could do...the nurse has to make the decision on whether she wants to pursue it or not! I know, I can't believe that guy at the gym..He was acting so inappropriate. At first it wasn't so bad but then it just kept getting worse & worse :sad2: Now I'm sure he'll be calling us everyday to see if we want to join! How annoying! I should have given him a fake phone # :sad2:

I just got an email that I was accepted for Pinecone Research - yay! :)
Me too!

Linda: Is Chattanooga really only 7 hours from WDW? I remember driving from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta once for a spur-of-the-moment weekend trip to Six Flags and it took me a lot longer than I had anticipated. For some reason I thought it would be about 8-10 hours but it was closer to 12 -- not counting the time we spent changing the oil at 4am due to a breakdown. *shudder* Anyway, that's 3 hours South of WDW but you get the idea.

Well guys I have some weird stuff going on, all I can think is that it must all be related to my new meds. I've been feeling very dehydrated and yet not thirsty, I've got a slightly dry scratchy throat but nothing that bothers me, my voice just sounds rusty. And then tonight I discovered that my ankles have disappeared! I'm retaining water something awful - it actually hurts the skin because my ankles are so swollen. Y'know how you can blow up a rubber glove? If I had a foot-shaped rubber glove & blew it up, it would look like my feet, they are almost round! I've been trying to drink a ton of water and I'm still getting rid of that normally, so I don't really know what's up. I'll have to see how it is in the morning and maybe call the nurse, if it's a side effect I think my Dr. should know about it, right?

That's the most excitement I've had lately -- I guess I should be thankful there have been no house fires or little old man run-ins! ;)

In other news, it was so nice out today that the kids played in the backyard until bedtime --- get this ---- without coats on! I had almost forgotten how nice it is to be able to just open the door and go outside or get in the car, without it being a 10-minute ordeal involving much yelling about coats and shoes and gloves and just do what I told you to, that's why!!
Foot balloons...paints a funny picture in my head! I hope you get it straightened out soon! I feel for ya girl!

Hey guys!!!

Well, I had my treatment this morning and I have one unbelievable thing to say-----

The Snack Bandit Strikes Again!!!!

unreal!!!!

I ended up mentioning it to the one nurse who I am closest to. I get along with her really well and I just couldn't keep it in any more.
It's not the fact that he is taking the snacks-----he could sit there picnic style in front of everyone with the 30+ snacks----I could care less-----at least he'd be honest about it. What bothers me is HOW he goes about taking them. It's almost comically sad-----sneaky, shifty eyes----slyly sticking them in his pockets, then shoving them into his mom's purse, all the while looking around to see if anyone is watching. The guy is actually creeping me out a bit. Who can trust someone like that?? I know it's only snacks, but what else?? I am not the accusing type, but come on. The nurse said that he is constantly up and down and now she knows what he's up to. She said that the snacks are most likely a deduction for the hospital, but that comes out of our pockets, right?? I feel bad for saying something, but I just couldn't watch it anymore. Now it's up to them, whatever they decide. Was I wrong?? I'm doubting myself. I don't want to get anyone into trouble, but this is ridiculous.
Good for you! Now its in someone elses hands. It would be funny if you got him a mask....hehehe.

Hi everyone!!!

Well today was a good day for me! My mom sent me a really nice care package with some of my allergy medicine, some cream for my rash (which is pretty much gone) some stationary, cute socks, a pug magnet, etc. but she also sent me a Coach purse! It is so adorable, I think it was so nice and thoughtful of her. I just couldn't believe it! Also, when I woke up today I called Jeremiah like I normally do. He told me to look down at my ankle and did I notice anything different? I was like, "UH, no. What was I walking in my sleep again and bumped it?" Well apparently my anklet that he got for me several years ago had broken and he found it in the living room. I didn't notice because I'm so used to it I didn't even feel it on anymore. Well he came home and had a jewelry box for me- a new anklet! Its gold with little hearts. Isn't my husband wonderful?

Tonight we decided to walk into World Gym just to see the prices. We have a gym here but its small and you have to go there very late, otherwise there are alot of people there. Well we went just to get prices but ended up getting a tour. Well I was very turned off by the sales guy, he was very pushy. After getting the tour he told us the price, which was way more than we thought it would be. We told him we'd talk about it and he started giving us this big speech about "Oh well people say that and never come back, blah blah blah you must not be very serious about your goals" He just kept making these little comments and I was trying very hard to contain myself :rolleyes1 He showed us this nursery that you can bring your kids to while you work out and he kept asking us these personal questions, like do we have kids, why not, are we trying? why aren't we trying? All the time, we would make comments about other gym members saying things like "He takes a little something to make him that big" I was thinking to myself, is this guy going to make comments about me to potential gym members if I'm there working out?:rolleyes1 Anyways I was soooo annoyed and just felt like he had a very condecending attitude. So, I don't think we'll be joining there :rolleyes1 I think we may just go back to our little gym here and save that money for something better!!!.
How sweet of your mom and Jeremiah!
Girl, I would call and speak to the manager at that gym. I would absolutely not tolerate that kind of behaviour and they should be made aware. Its one thing to be a pushy salesperson (all gym people tend to be) but another entirely to comment about the other clients and ask personal questions beyond, do you have kids.

Hi Angela! Have a lovely trip!

So, Chris keeps wanting to post on the boards and I won't let him use my account so tonight he made his own...his screen name is LinzybrookesDH...hes a goober!

I have an interview with a high school on Wednesday morning!

/
:) Hey Lin!!!!

Your DH's sn is so cute!! Hi LinzybrookesDH!! :flower3:

I know I probably should call the manager about that guy. At first he was pretty friendly but then it just went downhill. :sad2: He actually said something to the affect of, (after asking why we dont have kids and why arent we trying) "Well, after you slip one past the goal post you can use the nursery here" :crazy2:  Can you imagine if someone was having fertilily issues and he was interoggating them about it, how it would make them feel? :guilty: I didn't know gym employees were normally like that; I've never been in one you had to pay to be a member of. I actually felt bad when he kept going on and on about how I'm not serious about my goals! (to lose weight) I put a 5 on a 1-10 scale because I'm not one of those crazy people who go to the gym for 4 hours a day and count every single calorie :confused3 What a loser :sad2:

Good luck on your interview!! I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday!!! :pixiedust:

Good Morning ALL!!!

As usual I am running late. So much to catch up on, so little time!!

Have a great day everyone!! I'll see you later!!

Good morning, Crew!!! Sorry, I had to catch up on last nights' posts before I fixed breakfast. How about a litte French Toast this morning? We need extra nourishment for all our outdoor activities!!! :cool1:

frenchtoast.jpg

I hope everyone has a Totally Terrific Tuesday!!!!

Good morning, Michele!!! :wave2:

ps.....I noticed we are starting page 899. :rolleyes1

Hiya, busy posters!!!

2x2s:: I can't believe the snack bandit struck again!!! I don't blame you for letting the nurse know; it's in their hands now. Jeesh!!! What a weirdo!! (The snack bandit, not you. )

Ashley:: I loved the new pics you posted, especially the one of Jeremiah trying to put poor Ruby in the dumpster!!! The pic of you trying to run over Jeremiah is a good one, too!!!
That's kind of an over-the-top experience with the health club guy!!! I think I would complain to the manager about him!! ( He wasn't the manager was he? ) Those questions and comments were just too personal!!

Lin:: I'll keep a lookout for the LinzybrookesDH poster!!!! That's just too cute!!!

Well, gang, gotta run!!! See you all later!!!

Hi Angela! Nice to see you again! I didn't realize that your trip was coming up so soon - how time flies! Have a great time, I know you will!! I forgot to mention in my last post that we have vacationed in Gatlinburg twice: once when I was a pre-teen and again in my late teens/early 20s. I have very fond memories of the area, it was really nice -- if you could look past all the tourist traps but being from FL I was used to that. I don't know if Gatlinburg is anywhere near where you are but it's the only part of TN I've spent much time in.

Gatlinburg is about an hour from here, sad to say though we really don't go up there too much because of all the traffic etc. If we go up that way it's mostly to hit the outlets and go to Dollywood. It is a really pretty area, I'd still like to stay in a B&B sometime in October when the leaves are changing! There are 2 new families in our neighborhood that live in houses side by side and they are both from FL. It's funny because everyone here would love to move to FL!:rotfl:

Hi, everyone!!!
When I got home from work Gary and Nathan were ready to go out and work in the yard. I swept the front porch and cleaned the patio furniture. Spring is in the air!!! After the yard work and cleaning we took a walk through our woods; the path goes behind another house and connects to my sisters back yard. When I came in to make dinner, Nathan got out his 4-wheeler and took a few spins down the woods path and back.

2x2s:: Hi, Pin-cesss!!! Glad to see you posting!!! I'm glad the Tusker House isn't closing; I was planning on eating there in July!! I think I'll try the salmon this time....the chicken and green beans were delicious!!! Yummm!!!!!
I hope your day went well.:goodvibes

pozey:: I hope you get to feeling better, young man.

Amber:: The DC pictures are beautiful; what a perfect place for a Cliqueless mini-meet!!!
Good luck resolving the mother and mother-in law issues.

Nicole:: I'm glad you had a good time at the rodeo Saturday night. Is the weather getting pretty nice in Texas about now??
Have fun at your Mary Kay meeting.:)

Linda:: I think I read where Mike gave you the "go ahead" for Oct. '08!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: Nathan and Gary watched the race yesterday while I grocery shopped, put the groceries away and made supper. I had to feed them in the basement so that they wouldn't miss the end.

Lin:: Have fun at work. I'm like you; I tried the search functions and didn't find any change. Maybe they're not done totally upgrading??:confused3

Michele:: How is Miss Lilly doin'?:cutie: Out to buy a ball glove?? It's always something, isn't it?? So.....do you have YOUR brackets filled out?? :teeth: I don't keep up with basketball that much, but Gary and Nathan watch a game now and then.

lyzziesmom:: I love the pictures of the girls. The museum powder room one is hilarious!!! I'm happy to hear that lyzzie is excited about Girl Scout Camp, she'll probably have the time of her life!!!
Ooh, I just read about your swelling ankles, I think I would get in touch with the Doctor.

Angela:: Hi!!! That trip is coming up in just a few days!!!:woohoo: Are you all packed??

Well, it's time for me to go bully Nathan into taking his bath. Talk to you all later!!! :wave2:

Donna it's exciting when you can clean off your porch furniture huh?!!:thumbsup2 I've had the boys packed for about 2 weeks but I have almost got us all packed. A single guy from Darin's office is going to stay here, check mail, feed cats etc while we are gone so of course I've got the added pressure of having the house clean!:scared1: On the positive side I love coming home to a clean house! He stayed here last year and it was just as clean as I left it. :)

Have a great day everyone!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

I am so tired; DST really messes with my schedule. I just want to crawl right back into bed.
sleeping-smiley-009.gif

Donna, breakfast looks good; a lot better than what I had (biscuit from McDonald's. I was suppose to get a bagel, but they messed up).

Lin, good luck on the interview! :wizard: Tell Chris to stop by here anytime. We'll be nice. :)

Angela, good to 'see' you! Have a great time in WDW!

2x2s, I would have said something too.

I just gave Ruby a bath and she's running around the house like a wild woman!!!

Leary does the same thing. He races around the coffee table, then has to jump on each piece of furniture.

The pictures are too funny!

I can't believe the guy at the gym. What nerve. I would call and speak to a manager.

I had the worst dream last night. We were in MGM and my camera didn't work. I kept trying and trying to takes pictures, but the button was stuck. Then everyone (except me) got stuck on TOT.

Have a great day!

Linda I live in Knoxville which is 1 1/2 hours north of Chattanooga, it's a really neat city. It's about 3 hours from here to Atlanta so I think Chattanooga is about 1/2 that and it's 10.5 hours from Knoxville to Orlando (without kid stops!:rotfl: ) The weather is really nice but of course we've got some humidity in the summer, but we like it here (dh born and raised here). There is supposed to be a big dip in temperature here too on the weekend but we leave for Orlando on Thursday morning so I'll get to miss that!! :thumbsup2
Expedia said 8 hrs so I thought it might be 7-9 hrs, depending on traffic ;) Mike is a SPEED DEMON:rolleyes1 so it would probably take him 7. Expedia says here to Orlando is over 16 hrs...it took us 14:eek: but that's driving at night w/less traffic and more able to speed ;) Mike wouldn't like the humidity... Wow your trip is Thurs! We all know you'll have a blast! Be careful and have some fun for us too:cool1:

Hi, everyone!!!
Nathan got out his 4-wheeler and took a few spins down the woods path and back.

Linda:: I think I read where Mike gave you the "go ahead" for Oct. '08!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: Nathan and Gary watched the race yesterday while I grocery shopped, put the groceries away and made supper. I had to feed them in the basement so that they wouldn't miss the end.
ohhh Kenny wants a 4 wheeler SOOO bad! He'd love it. oh no, can't miss the end of a race;)

The Snack Bandit Strikes Again!!!!
 what a loon! That guy needs to grow up. Glad you told the nurse. :cool1:

Hey Miss Linda!!!!! I see you're still dreamin' of Disney!!!!! Mike agreed to the '08 cruise???:woohoo: :woohoo: What a man!!!
How's Kenny???? Hi dude!!!
dreamin' of disney 24/7/365:cloud9: Yes, he is such a sweetheart!! Kenny is great and he thinks we should go to Disney for Easter:rotfl: boy do I wish!

So, Chris keeps wanting to post on the boards and I won't let him use my account so tonight he made his own...his screen name is LinzybrookesDH...hes a goober!

I have an interview with a high school on Wednesday morning!
LinzybrookesDH:rotfl: Chris!!! that's funny. I could see Mike doing the same thing:rolleyes1 Good luck at your interview!

Lyzziesmom...CALL THE DR!!! that doesn't sound good.

Ashley... I love those pix. Ruby is too cute. Yes, you have a very sweet dh too.

I better get some work done so I can get out of here early today...I feel that blue sky fever coming on... you know...that sickness you get when its 73 and sunny for the first time in MONTHS... you just gotta skip outta work early and enjoy it... that's what I'll be doing today! Whoo Hoo!
Later are the calling hrs for the family member that fell out of a tree:sad2: but I need to get out in the sun some too... I really want to go to TDS and Costco. Costco gives huge in store gift cards for booking travel, so I wanna check them out. Maybe check on a Hawaii trip:rolleyes1 wdw/cruise prices... it can't hurt ;)

Have a great day everybody!

I had the worst dream last night. We were in MGM and my camera didn't work. I kept trying and trying to takes pictures, but the button was stuck. Then everyone (except me) got stuck on TOT.

Have a great day!
 is right... Kenny would not like getting stuck on ToT!!! Hope you get some rest. I was dead tired last night... I gave up and took some tylenol pm;) those things are great when you NEED sleep!

Good Morning!

Thanks for the french toast Donna!

"Well, after you slip one past the goal post you can use the nursery here" :crazy2:

 :scared1::sad2: I would have walked out at that point! You definitely should call the manager. Cute pics! Your mom and Jeremiah are so sweet!

Lin- I'll look for LinzybrookesDH!

Lyzziesmom- I hope the swelling goes down! Isn't it nice to go outside without a coat on?

2X- Crazy snack bandit!:sad2: Good for you for saying something!:thumbsup2 (thumb)

I had my Mary Kay meeting last night. I still wasn't inspired to really sell. They are so adamant about you either taking out a loan, getting a credit card, borrowing money, pawning something, having a garage sale, etc, to get your inventory of makeup to sell. :sad2: I don't want to get into debt, I know if I were to really sell I'd get that money back but still I don't want to do that. Now I have to have a debut party. I wish you all lived closer to me, I'd invite everyone! If you need Mary Kay makeup you know who to call!!! ;) :teeth:

Morning everyone.

I'm behind again, so I will try to go catch up in a few.

I stayed home sick today. I'm still feeling under the weather. I actually feel better than I did Saturday and Sunday, but that's not saying a whole lot.

I did take Chase to the eye doctor yesterday. He has 20/60 vision. The eye doc asked if Chase was active in sports and I told him yes. So, he said he had no problem with fitting Chase with contact lenses. Chase was actually a little upset - he wanted glasses. :confused3

He is actually nearsighted in one eye and has astigmatism in the other eye.

They ordered him some contacts and we have to go back in to see him when they come in. The doctor will teach him how to put them in and care for them.

I hope you feel better soon Pozey! Wow, I didn't know that they gave young kids contacts! I got mine when I was 13 or 14.

Ashley: your pictures are always so cute -- it looks like you guys have so much fun! Have you made any more plans for your May trip yet?

Nicole: I'll let you know if I need any Mary Kay! Is there an online catalogue or anything like that, where I can browse & then order through you if I want to? Speaking of which...

Lyzzie is selling magazines for her Girl Scout troop, so if anybody needs a new or renwed subscription for anything, let me know and I'll see if I can place an order for you! The fundraiser came without any info as to when the orders are due, so I'm not sure how much longer we have.

The swelling in my feet has gone down but my ankles are still huge! Did anyone see that movie with Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow, where she's fat but he can't see her fat? I can't remember the name of the movie for the life of me! There was a part where he's talking to his friend and they are saying a girl has "cankles" -- ankles that are the same size as her calves. That's how I feel... aaaaaaaack, I have cankles!! At least I was able to squeeze into some shoes this morning, I was afraid I'd have to wear my Crocs to work which is not really allowed, and to top it all off, my boss is here this week.

It's supposed to get cold again tomorrow, I sure hope they are wrong about that. I really don't want to be here at work today, it's too nice outside!!

------- Shallow Hal!! ------------ I just remembered.
