:lmao:
That's HIM!!!

Lesa - Oh my goodness, your day just keeps getting worse and worse, doesn't it??? My thought is that could DEFINITELY be a contributing factor to the asthma. And what's Brittany sick with? Hang in there! :flower3:

I’ve got this Aerosmith song stuck in my head now………

“Dude cooks like a lady……”

:lmao: great...now I have RnR on the brain!!!! :rotfl2:

That’s funny…… Isn’t it funny with “Disney” families? Last night on the way to the middle school, an Aerosmith song comes on the radio. Can’t remember what song it was right now. Anyway, Colton says……”this is just like if we were riding Rock N Roller Coaster.”

that's awesome!! Yes, it is funny...I LOVE it!!! Mike is even catching it ;)

A question……

Last night at the middle school meeting, they talked quite a bit about the Pre-AP classes. He has 4 classes that he has the opportunity to take Pre-AP class – Math, Science, World History, and Language/Reading. They can take none, one, two, three, or all.

They have 2 weeks at the beginning of school to decide if they want to continue with the Pre-AP class, or go to a “normal” class.

Colton told me that he wanted to take ALL Pre-AP. I’m kinda worried that might be too much for him to handle. I thought about having him take 2 pre-AP classes. But I was told by someone else that he should take all Pre-AP as well.

What do you think? Especially if you or your child has taken Pre-AP classes (or AP classes). Is the work that much more demanding?

Great - I just have Steven Tyler stuck in my head.

You know - it is funny how 'we' are. We can find anything and relate it back to Disney.

Pozey, I think it's extremely admirable that Colton wants to load up on all pre AP courses. I wish I had some advice to give you, but just based on what you've said about him here it sounds like he can handle it. I would just make sure he knows he can back out if it proves too much for him. (if in fact, that's OK w/ you guys)

pozey, I took AP classes and the work was much more demanding. However, if he thinks he can handle the workload, then I would allow him to take the classes he wants.

Hello everyone :)

I hope you all had a nice Tuesday.

Lyzziesmom, I'm so sorry about your MRI results and the way your mom is talking to you too. :bitelip:  I'm glad your trashcan found its way home!!!

Pozey, looks like a yummy recipe!!! Can you recommend a good (jarred) spaghetti sauce? I can't seem to find a good one. We like one thats smooth and not chunky...Any suggestions?

Lesa, boy you've had a rough couple days!! I hope everything works out regarding the contractor. I remember you being annoyed with them when you had that work done!!!

Hello to everyone else!!!! :flower3: I'll check in later.

I'm excited HOuse is back on tonight! :cool1:

Oh trust me, it's gotten worse as the day has gone on!;) I think Brittany has the same thing Maddie has, just Madison's is worse because of her asthma. I'm a hangin'.:upsidedow

I think it depends on the child. I might see how he does the first 2 weeks and go from there. Depending on the sports and stuff he is into, the load may be too much if he takes them all. However, Congrats to him!:cool1:

We primarily use Prego.

I like the Classico brand as well, but DW doesn't.

pozey: I took a few AP classes and I don't remember being that much more work, just more challenging in general. I remember being bored in most of my other classes. (Of course, this was a few years back so my memories might be skewed.) I have not heard of pre-AP but I'm assuming it's the same thing for lower grades? I think if he wants to take them all, he should. He seems to be a bright, ambitious boy and I'm sure he knows what he is getting into. And if not, he can maybe switch his least favorite one or two to the "normal" class.

Ashley: I don't like chunky spaghetti sauce either - the smoother the better. Of course, I can't stand tomatoes so it's a miracle I even eat spaghetti! This might sound weird, but I usually use pizza sauce instead of spaghetti sauce. It's called Pizza Quick and it's by Ragu, it comes in a little jar. It's very smooth, slightly thicker than regular spag. sauce which can sometimes get a little watery, and has more spices in it like basil and oregano.

Lesa: Hang in there girl! Something really good must be heading your way, after you go through all of this. :faint:

Gotta go help Lyzzie with her homework - I'll be as glad as she is when this special mystery reading unit is over, that girl gets crabby when she has a lot of homework!

I certainly hope so! I think I just may pull my hair out if anything else goes wrong this week.

Maybe I should play the lottery, the odds have to be in my favor, right!?!

Madison is going to not be happy when she gets all the work she has to make up. She missed 4 days so far, and it is sounding like possibly tomorrow too.

Colton and I have decided that he will enroll in 3 Pre-AP classes. Math, Science, and World History. Those are his favorite subjects. Reading/Literature is his least favorite. He can still take a Pre-AP Reading/Literature class in 7th grade if he chooses.

Well, I had to run to Wal Mart just a little while ago. Just before checking out, I saw the stand for Peter Pan.....so I bought it. :cool1:

Good evening everyone!

Lesa, huge hugs for you and all the drama! I hope the city kicks the contractors rear in gear and they get it all fixed for you. Hopefully the mold isn't black! It does explain the increase in allergies. Your poor girls, hope they are both feeling better soon.

Ashley, I love Classico spaghetti sauce. The Vodka Cream is my very favorite.

Michele, hope Bree had a good day back at school!

Yolanda, awesome news about your move!!! Yippee!

Lyzziesmom, sorry about your mom! Mine can be similar but she is easier to tune out! Hope Lyzzie gets out of her mystery unit soon!

Nicole, glad you have decided where to stay!

Dznyfan, are you getting excited for your trip?

Hey to Pozey, Sewer, Bonnie, Amber and everyone else.
April we miss you!

Whew! Nobody has posted for quite a while!!!! Do you people have lives, or something?? ;)

Lyzziesmom, I never thought of using Pizza sauce!! Good idea :thumbsup2 (thumb!) Leave it to a picky eater to find the smoothest spaghetti sauce around...:rotfl2: It stinks that Lyzzie has been getting so much homework!! I've been working on my schoolwork myself alot lately. I take online classes and have kind of been slacking. I want to hurry up and get it finished!!!

Pozey, its hard to say with AP classes. They really are much, much more work. I think he can handle it but it wasn't for me in school, I was happy just with Honors classes!! Thanks for reminding me about Peter Pan!!!!

What did you guys think of American Idol tonight?? I'm watching it right now and so far only acouple guys have sung. Who do you think is getting kicked off? I think Sanjaya (spelling?) and I don't know who else yet...:confused3

It stinks because on Thursdays at 8pm Survivor, Ugly Betty, and American Idol is on!! My DVR only can record 2 things at a time, so I've been saying I'll watch Ugly Better online. Well I haven't watched it since Feb 1 the night before I left for Disney :sad2: Anyway, I also record Mama's Family (anybody remember that show? its one of my favs!) everynight from 8-9 so now I have to stop recording that Thursdays so I can see AI results!!! This is around the time that I start getting into AI!

Ok, I'm rambling, so I'll go back to watching AI. :bored:

Good morning, all!!! I've worked especially hard preparing our breakfast table this morning.:goodvibes I had to make sure we had just the right amount of the beautiful outdoors to view!!! Pull up a chair and join me!!

Breakfast%20table.JPG

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!!!:flower3:

Good Morning!

Donna, that looks so good, especially looking out the window and seeing grass (it's snowing here).

Ashely, I only watched bits and pices of AI, but I liked the first guy (Blake?). I love 311 and while I didn't love his version, I liked that he picked that song. I don't think Sanjaya was good at all and I didn't like Sundance last night.
I am so glad we got another Tivo; I was having the same problem deciding what to watch (my first Tivo only records one program at a time). Now, I can record three.

Mike is killing me. Last night he said that maybe we could go to WDW in Oct/Nov. (he couldn't do Dec, because of his job). I'm not sure if I can use the same code I used for my Dec quote, but I'm hoping I can. I would love to go to the F&W festival and MNSSHP. If I can't use the code, we'll probably stay at POP again or upgrade to CBR.

Have a great day!!!

Good morning cliquers.

Donna, breakfast looks fantastic.

That view reminds me of a Bed and Breakfast DW went to in Branson many moons ago. It was just outside of town near the lake in Branson. Very nice.

Good morning all!

Lesa--:grouphug: Hopefully this will get the contractor moving!

Pozey-- Yeah for Colton! I agree, let him start with the harder classes and then he can decide what works for him.

Donna-- lovely breakfast!

Amber-- I think that you are the one in West Virginia right? What part? We'll be moving to the Charleston area in May.

Thanks for the congrats on my husbands job everyone. We're excited!

Well, my muffins are done so I'd better get them out of the oven. Have a great day!
