Hey Lin...we like it all. Lately, DH and I have been ordering canadian bacon with onions. The boys like cheese, sausage (pork) and pepperoni. Then adding insult to injury...we also get the yummy ranch dressing that our local pizzia place makes...as if the pizza didn't have enough calories.

I gave up chocolate for lent and Thursday morning (the first "official" day after Ash Wed)---was flying out the door as usual to get to my treatment and without even thinking grabbed a small bottle of something and downed it in the car. I was sitting at a stop light and it hit me that I just drank chocolate milk!!!! So, I made up a new rule that liquids don't count.
I'm with ya on the lottery tickets!!!

I saw Flushed Away at the theater. I thought it was really cute----some slow parts, but I liked it. I loved the singing slimy things.

I'm not sure what to say about your hand. With all of the IV's I have started every month (for the last 4+ years), I really have not had any major problems (some minor), except for scar tissue now. They just have a hard time finding veins that don't have scarring.
I'd keep an eye on it, you may have to get it checked out. I wouldn't let it go too long, though. I'm a worrier, though, as you already know.

Wilma finally got a new cell phone!!!! A step into this century, wouldn't you say??

As the ConventionEars may or may not remember, I have (had ) an extremely old cell phone that belonged in a museum. A Motorolla Startack-----yes, that's it.
So, the battery was dead and I tried to charge it, but the charger broke. So, like any good prehistoric girl, I opted to move on and just get a new phone instead of trying to find a new charger that is most likely not even made anymore.

So, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Thanks Michele----nothing fancy----just a little Nokia. It does have a camera on it though, which I was so proud of until the girls at work told me that is pretty much standard these days. Who knew??
