Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 3

sewer...and all my other cliqueless friends...I've been playing deal or no deal for the past couple of months so I could get anyone who needed a plane ticket for the convention...but NO DEAL for me.:sad2: Monday somneone in Ohio did win the $10,000 case!

Awww...You're too sweet YM! I wish you would have won!

Ashley: I love American Idol, but I don't watch too much of the auditions. Usually just the first 1/2 hour will do it for me. I really get into it once they get down to the final 24, then you get to really see their personalities and it's not so much of a blur.

DznyFan: I hope that tooth (or at least where it used to be) feels better soon, so you can eat real food again!

I don't think I mentioned that I could not find the "Micken" sweater, but found the "Moody" one-------can I still go??;) ;)
("fits" me better, anyway:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :teeth: :teeth: )

yet another p.s.-----will someone please remind me that I have that gift card from a client from Christmas?? I am so afraid that I will buy everything in sight and then get home and find the unused card in my purse. That is something I would definitely do!!:sad2:

2x: There you are! We've been worried about you. I almost bought that Moody sweater! It took me about 10 minutes of trying them both on before I could decide. DON'T FORGET YOUR GIFT CARD!! Go put it with your other travel documents RIGHT NOW!! The good news is that if you do forget it, it's good at the Disney Store and you can use it online at disneyshopping.com too. I hope your ear gets better before next Friday! There's nothing worse than flying with a bum ear. Well, there are worse things, but I don't want to think about them right now.

Oh...as you can see by one of my tags I'm a Full House fan. So the "maybe.....maybe not" reminded me of a line Michelle Tanner used.:lmao: Just what you wanted to HEAR.

A lot of people tell me Emma looks like the Olsen twins when they were little. (She kind of does, actually!) You'll have to remind me to have her say "You got it, dude!" It's eerie. :cutie:

and thanks for the trippie comment. I'm so glad you guys are reading! No one else is...its a little sad!

I'm sure they are reading it! I read some trip reports, but I don't usually comment on them. Don't stop the report now, I'm enjoying it!!

BTW-- You can do Hawaii on a budget if you want. We rented a 4 bedroom house on the beach for $250 a night (go to vrbo.com). I also found a great deal on airline tickets to Hawaii, $300 round trip. We cook some of our own food while we are there (plus on the North Shore you aren't exactly overwhelmed with dinning options).

Those do sound like some good deals for Hawaii, but sadly it is still way too rich for my budget. The airfare alone would be more than a WDW vacation for a week! I guess it'll have to wait until I find my sugardaddy.

Linda: I can't wait to see pictures of Kenny wrestling - he sounds so cute! Yesterday we were in the store and Emma saw a little boy, she looked at me and said, "Where is Kenny?" I said he's at home. She said, "Kenny is at my new house?" I said no, Kenny is at home in Ohio. She just said, "Oh" as if she knows where Ohio is! Then she pouted for a while before she said, "I see Kenny at Disney World." I guess she has decided to give him a chance! (as long as he has fries, of course)

Amber: I've been on the fence as to whether to watch the Saw movies. I like a horror movie as long as it has a good plot. I don't like ones that are cheesy and predictable. I really liked the Final Destination movies, but I'm just not sure about the Saw series. I think I might have to give them a try though. I'm like you, I'm not crazy about the gory stuff, I'd prefer if they left it up to the imagination a little more. It helps to know it's just fake, I've watched a lot of "behind the scenes" stuff that shows how they do special effects so that makes it easier to watch. A little.

Well it looks like my printer FINALLY finished printing out my stuff. It is a printer and a fax machine, and oh yeah.. it's a DINOSAUR. It always has trouble pulling the new paper into the machine, so this morning it kept getting stuck trying to print all the faxes that came in last night, and then I had to wait for those before MY stuff would come out. Oh I wish this office would get out of the stone ages!!

YM, if you get to Hale KOA before me, you'll have to let me know how it is:sunny:

I can see the Olsen twins in Emma too::yes::

"where is Kenny at" :cloud9: awww that is so cute. I'm sure he'll share his fries and anything else he has w/her. He'll probably even pull her chair out:cool2: He does that for me all the time:angel: You guys will have to watch out...he might go around pulling chairs out for all of you guys:flower3: he can be quite the little gentleman ;) Sounds like Emma might just give him a chance:cutie: she's so adorable. Cute Lyzzie is so excited too!

I forgot to tell you guys: I finally found a tiara for Emma! It was at a different Target in the toy section, and it's just like the ones they give out for birthdays at 1900 Park Fare, but instead of Happy Birthday it says Princess for the Day. It's so cute, and it fits her little head perfectly! As soon as she saw it, she snatched it off the shelf and said, "That's MY crown!" Ahhh, that's my little princess.

Linda: That's so cute about Kenny pulling out the chairs. You must be raising him right! :)

I can't wait either. I can just see them now...one of Emma sneaking Kennys fries:rotfl:

It sounds like you are raising a fine young man. My little brother is like that; everyone says how polite and well mannered he is.

I think Saw is a good series. The endings are great and not really predictable. I would give it a chance (just be prepared for gore, some of it goes over the top).

Awww...You're too sweet YM! I wish you would have won!

Ok..I have to share a "lucky case" story. We were in Kentucky over Thankgiving. They had a special deal or no deal on Thanksgiving night with a $100,000 lucky case. So we are watching this two hour special and I was playing up that WE were going to win the lucky case to my oldest DS. Anyway...my DS somehow got my cell phone without me knowing and called DH's cell phone (that was the number DH had given when entered that night). My eye must have been like:eek:  but DH said that's your phone (it plays a certain song). I never hear my phone call his because I"m not in the same room! Then in comes DS laughing his head off.:lmao:

Ok...that's all I have to say about that!

Ok...I have to go to the dreaded Walmart store in a little while...my brain is not working. What are some of those little things one seems to forget for their trips? I do need rain ponchos (we have a dollar tree next door). Do you guys ever take an umbrella? I did the very first year and lost it.:sad2: I bet they have thousands in lost and found. Here's a dumb question...can you pack food in your check in luggage...I was going to pack a couple of snacks that wouldn't smash.

well thank you :) I do try. He is so sweet and sensitive. He'll do anything to make you smile:cloud9: Sounds like you have a very sweet brother ;)

:rotfl2: that is too funny! I wish we all would win!!! An extra 100k...wow, that would be nice!

Lets see, one time I forgot my camera charger:sad2: I would think you could pack snacks in your luggage w/o any problems. I've never taken an umbrella. I do usually take a backpack for drinks, camera, snacks, maps, gum, batteries, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, ponchos... you name it:rolleyes1 Other than chargers...I'm sure I'll pack enough for everyone if they forget something:rotfl: I'm kind of bad about OVERPACKING!! No wonder we don't fly, can't take the kitchen sink w/me then!

Lin,
If you want the recipe, I will PM it to you......or I can just post it if any others want the recipe.

I would love it! Now I'm all excited!

All my Tulsa cliquers- On the radio this morning, they were talking about a car that was buried 50 years ago that is supposed tho be dug up for the Centennial on June 15 I think. It sounded kind of interesting, like who was supposed to get the car etc. Do any of you know more about this?

This sounds very interesting!

YM, I took chips in my carry on since American now has NO snacks...not even the dinky bags of peanuts! We didn't know this on our way to Florida and we were starving before we got to Orlando so we took chips on the way back to Texas.

Other things, here is my list!
Cell Phone Charger
Camera Charger
Spare Memory Card
Spare Camera battery
Tylenol
Mole Skin
Tums/Immodium
Emergency Credit Card
Hmm...thats all I can think of right now...

So, I just found out that the new food court at the Poly has a Dole Whip Machine!!!!! Now I have to plan another trip...which I can't do! I think Chris and I are going to try to fly down to florida a day or two early for our Cruise and hit Magic Kingdom.

Oh, and I always pack and empty duffle bag and stick it in my suitcase for all the stuff I drag home with me!!!

I bring everything I need in the diaper bag: wipes & diapers (of course), ponchos (no umbrella, too bulky for me), eye drops, meds, Immodium (just in case!), credit card, insurance card, Emma's harness/leash, hmmm.... what else? Camera and extra batteries/memory cards are in camera case. In my pockets are my park passes and gift card. I don't really take much into the parks, my philosophy is as little as possible. In fact, when I don't have Emma with us, if it doesn't fit in my pocket or camera case, it doesn't go with us.

The funniest thing happened at lunch! I went home and when I got close to the house, I noticed that our snowman in the front yard looked funny. It had a big blackbird sitting on its head!! There was another one walking around on the ground, and another one in the nearby tree. My dad brought over a bunch of corncobs and they made the snowman's faces out of those (one facing the street and one facing the house). The birds stole all the corncobs off the side facing the house! I took a couple pictures, I think they came out a little blurry through the window but I will try to remember to post them later once I'm home again. It was so funny the way the bird was just sitting up there, looking around!

Seriously??? That does it, I NEED to stay at the Poly from now on. It's already my favorite resort and this just puts it over the top! (If I can pick to stay at POP for the icees, then this certainly justifies the cost for the Poly, right? ;) )

ok....I HAVE to try one of those:rolleyes1 Yet another reason to love the Poly:love: :cloud9:

OH! I forgot to tell you guys... I had a letter from my lawyer in my mailbox at home. Remember when I got Emma's name changed a few months ago? Well it turns out it took this long for the State of Kansas to issue her amended birth certificate... and they got it WRONG!! They forgot to change her middle name! So, the lawyer sent me a copy of the original request, and the WRONG b.c., and a new letter asking them to fix it for free, since it was clearly communicated the first time in the letter and in the court order. It's a good thing I didn't have a cruise planned or she wouldn't be able to go, since the name doesn't match. Uggggh, I can't stand incompetence.

:faint: you're kidding!!! trust me...I know what you mean. GRRRR!! You'll have it fixed b4 we go on our cruise ;):rotfl2: next year, 2nd annual trip ;) land/sea pkg:rolleyes1 before too long we'll need passports:sad1: more $$$ to spend...oh well... it's still worth it!!

Land/sea...just what I've always wanted to do. This would have to include the whole family! No way could I go on a Disney cruise without the boys!

Hey thanks for the packing tips. I think I will pack a few snacks and carry on a few...can't be without my food.popcorn:: :rotfl: I wish I could take some coke with me. I'm very picky about my cokes. I really don't care for the coke at WDW (although you will see me drinking it). I don't even like the coke in Oklahoma City. I think the different bottling places taste different. Hmmm...a little glance at what my DH puts up with.:scared:

oops gotta run pick up the boys.....

How frustrating!!! Hope they get it right this time!

Pozey - did you see that the Cards World Series trophy is in town for a few days?

Ugh, what a pain! When we got married they sent us someone elses marriage license and when I called about it they had no idea what I was talking about. Took months to get the right one and when I finally got it it had a big old coffee cup stain in the middle.
