December 2008? Noooo, that's too far away!! (especially when I think, my kids will be 4 and 10 then, yikes!) We'll have to have some sort of an interim trip before then!

Hey, as long as someone will split a room with me I'm all there!!!!

I'd split a room with you Lin! But I would probably have one or both of the kids, I mean I can't leave Lyzzie home twice. Hmmmm, late 2007 did somebody say? Let's hope for free dining, if they offer that I will definitely be going!!

I hate computers!! I am so computer illiterate! I bought the Adobe Photoshop elements at Costco last week and am finally getting around to installing it. I know I just got it but I can't get it to do what I want it to!:badpc:

I need someone to sit with me and walk me thru everything...Lesa, where are you!!! Cause right now I just want to throw something!! preferable it!!!

Blake has a flexcare spending account thru work...he puts money into it at the beginning of the year and we can send in and be reimbursed for any out of pocket healthcare expenses. At the end of '06 I had money left in it so I found some bills I had forgotten to send in and sent them in for the money. My plan is to use that money for Disney...well I checked it today and it says they paid me, but they haven't. We get the money direct deposited so I know it isn't 'in the mail' Called them this afternoon and they said they are going to pay it in their next cycle which will be the 29th. That will work if they do it right but when I questioned why is said it was paid on the 17th I was told they put down the date they DECIDED to pay it! Now if they were being audited wouldn't that completely mess with someone's books. Plus it makes them look way more efficient than they are.

Gotta go make dinner now.

2x2...I'm glad to 'see' you again! Take care of that ear! Just like the teeth problems some were having, an earache can't be ignored!!

Michele: I'm jealous, I've been wanting to get the Photoshop Elements for a long time now! I used to be a graphic designer, and I have an old version of Photoshop but it's not installed on my current computer (and it's not exactly a legal copy). I had the trial version of Elements and I loved it! Sorry I can't really help with it though, unless I have it in front of me. That sounds very messed up about the flex money! I am always afraid to partcipate in the flex plans, since they are "use it or lose it" and I'm afraid I'd end up losing it. I'm also not the most organized person, and I'm sure I would lose receipts and such.

lyzziesmom..do you ever put tape on the bottom of your cats feet? you take tape sticky side out in a loop. My x use to put those on the cats feet and laugh so hard he could hardly breathe. they would just shake those paws like crazy trying to get it off.
Steven and the cat have an ongoing torment game. She does things to irritate him (like as soon as he gets up out of his seat, she jumps into it. . . AS SOON as he gets up :sad2: ) And then he'll get the lint tape off of the roller and put them out all over the couch so that when she does jump up there she'll have them all over her feet. Then he laughs and laughs. They definately have a love hate relationship.
Linda: Yep, I've done the tape on the cat's feet trick! Also stickers on the bridge of their nose - they shake their head like crazy to get it off. My favorite though, is to smear a little food on their nose. They *must* lick it off, even if it's something they hate, and then they try to scrape it off their tongue with their teeth! My mom used to just show the cat an orange and the cat would go nuts - they hate citrus, and I guess my mom once sqeezed an orange peel so that it squirted on the cat a little bit and she hated it ever since. Good entertainment, I'm tellin' ya.
Oh my goodness, I better not let Steven read this. He's always looking for new ways to torment the cat. He's always trying to one up her. Becuase truthfully, she tries to annoy him too. It's like having two kids.
Our cat stayed at the x's house. Kenny can still play with it when he's there and I don't have to worry about any animals anymore.
I imagine a day like this. When DH and I decide last minute we want to go out of town and then we don't have to get the animals into a kennel. But then, I can't imagine my life without my baby boy and girl.
Lin, thats hilarious. I'll have to remember that for the future. I usually bring my own TP but I guess for the deluxes you don't have to!!!
I ALWAYS have to bring my own TP. TMI, but I get a terrible rash from the scratchy stuff. Last year when we were in the throes of selling the house and we took that last minute trip to Disney for Halloween, I forgot the TP :scared1:  :scared1: . We didn't have a rental car but luckily for me my sister was coming down the next day. I was on the phone w/ her as fast as lightning making her bring me down some nice Charmin TP. :goodvibes Then I was good.
My MIL moving situation is solved. The move will probably take place the weekend after I get back from Florida.:thumbsup2
Great news Donna!!

Sorry I have been MIA once again for a couple of days----I have been fighting a major ear infection again and am on yet even more medication, so needless to say, have been feeling poop-e, to put it nicely. Another STORY OF MY LIFE!!!;) :lmao: yet another p.s.-----will someone please remind me that I have that gift card from a client from Christmas?? I am so afraid that I will buy everything in sight and then get home and find the unused card in my purse. That is something I would definitely do!!:sad2:
2x, hope you're feeling better. I need to remember my Disney Visa rewards card. It's got like $237 on it. That'll pay for my Disney Dining and few extra dollars for blow. I stuck it in my AP holder but remember my dream? Now I have this fear I'm going to forget the AP.
WHOO HOO!!!!

We are down to SINGLE DIGITS!!!!

9 DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :yay:  :cheer2:
   Doing the single digit dance w/ ya!!
breakfast.jpg
Breakfast was yummy!! Thanks so much!

I agree, but the 9 day thing is placing a tear in my eye.:sad1:
Aww, Sewer. Next year you'll have to join us.
They said it was buried in the lawn by the court house I think.:confused3 They don't exacly know who gets the car and even if it is in good condition or rusted out.
This sounds cool, Nicole.
:rotfl2: that is too funny! I wish we all would win!!! An extra 100k...wow, that would be nice!
Don't forget, tonight is Powerball!! Oh, and I'm an overpacker too.
Oh, and I always pack and empty duffle bag and stick it in my suitcase for all the stuff I drag home with me!!!
Lin, this is a great idea. Why didn't I think of this before? I've actually bought an extra bag to schlepp all my junk home.
OH! I forgot to tell you guys... I had a letter from my lawyer in my mailbox at home. Remember when I got Emma's name changed a few months ago? Well it turns out it took this long for the State of Kansas to issue her amended birth certificate... and they got it WRONG!! They forgot to change her middle name! So, the lawyer sent me a copy of the original request, and the WRONG b.c., and a new letter asking them to fix it for free, since it was clearly communicated the first time in the letter and in the court order. It's a good thing I didn't have a cruise planned or she wouldn't be able to go, since the name doesn't match. Uggggh, I can't stand incompetence.
Oh for goodness sake!! I sure hope that get this fixed, PRONTO!! I'm sorry you're having to deal with this.

I think Steven's friend Xxxx (never know who's reaing our thread. ;) ) wants to go out to dinner w/ his girlfriend and us tonight. But, not until like 8:30!! Uuum, I'm starving NOW! Not sure yet what we're going to do yet. I don't really feel like going and he's 28, Steven is 28 and I'm 32. This girl is like 19. Now I know that Ashley is 19 but this girl is not Ashley 19. Our Ashley is a mature 19 year old who acts like the adult that she is but this girl is like on the level of 13. Seriously, both Steven and I came to this conclusion when we were trying to figure out what "it" was about her and we both said, she's like a 13 year old. A 13 year old in a 19 year old's body. It was very bizzare. At one time in the conversation the last time we went out with them Steven's friend looks at her and says, "S******* has a lot of growing up to do." Well, if you think she needs to grow up, then why not let her do that. He's talking settling down, she's talking I don't know what she's talking but it AIN'T settling down.

So, I don't know what we're going to do yet. I don't feel like babysitting and that's the other thing. She was freaking out about how she was going to get in trouble by her parents for being out so late. :confused3 :headache: Give me a break.

Lin, this is a great idea. Why didn't I think of this before? I've actually bought an extra bag to schlepp all my junk home.

And that is why I do it now! After spending 35.00 on a 100 Years of Magic bag that barely held up for a year I realized this was the way to go!!

And they aren't freaked out that she is dating a guy almost 10 years older than him? :confused3 I don't have any issues with age in relationships but if at 19 I was dating a guy who was 28 my being out late would have been the least of my parents worries...

Ugh, I wouldn't go. I would have a stomach cramp instead...:rolleyes1

Oh no. They have issues with it. They are ultra over the top church people. --Don't get me wrong, I'm a church person-- But these people feel it's a sin to have a t.v. in the house (as in WILL send you to hell for having a t.v.), they don't think women should wear makeup because Jezebell wore make-up and the mom only wears skirts because Godly women shouldn't dress like men. :confused3 (Of course this is all that I gathered from her and him. I don't know this ALL for a fact.) This guy DOESN'T even go to church (except for occasionally with her on Sunday nights when they have food after service :headache: ). And he says he has no interest. I don't know, I'm thinking she's doing it for the shock value with her family. You know, they don't want her with him but she is 19 so what can they do?

Too late. Steven already told him we'd go.

I had heard that there was a good possiblity that free dining is coming back, but I will take it with a grain of salt. I mean, 3 years in a row with FDP??? I would love it but... I'm just not sure. We'll just have to wait and see.

April- Good luck with the double date! One of Steven's friends used to date a girl who wasn't really young, only 2 years younger than me, but she couldn't be trusted. She had alot of issues and hurt our friend many times. But thankfully they have been broken up for a few years now, so we don't have to deal with her anymore.

Land/sea...just what I've always wanted to do. This would have to include the whole family! No way could I go on a Disney cruise without the boys!
Now that sounds like a PLAN :cheer2: :cool1:

Ugh, what a pain! When we got married they sent us someone elses marriage license and when I called about it they had no idea what I was talking about. Took months to get the right one and when I finally got it it had a big old coffee cup stain in the middle.

I think a while back we said first week of December 2008? I'm all for it!!! Start saving now!!!!
omg what a pain that had to be! That sounds like a great plan... they have everything decorated for the holidays:goodvibes The ship is so beautiful all ready for Christmas:yay: That would be so awesome...the hard part will be talking Mike into it!!

December 2008? Noooo, that's too far away!! (especially when I think, my kids will be 4 and 10 then, yikes!) We'll have to have some sort of an interim trip before then!
:rotfl: You're too funny! You are as bad, if not worse than me!!! I want to go constantly but can only go as much as I can talk Mike into ;)

I hate computers!! I am so computer illiterate! I bought the Adobe Photoshop elements at Costco last week and am finally getting around to installing it. I know I just got it but I can't get it to do what I want it to!:badpc:

Blake has a flexcare spending account thru work...
I'm w/ya...I probably couldn't figure it out either. Grrr so annoying!
My x had the flex spending too and he called our office Dec. 29th wanting to know how he could find out his balance and what he could do w/what was left:rotfl: Nothing like waiting til the LAST minute...he had no idea how it worked etc. I guess she handled all that and then she moved out so he was clueless!

Steven and the cat have an ongoing torment game. She does things to irritate him (like as soon as he gets up out of his seat, she jumps into it. . . Wow, Steven looks older than 28! Not that it's a bad thing !! That is too funny w/him and the cat:laughing: Good luck w/the double date!

Nicole... FDP would be great... you're right, we'll just have to se ;) I wouldn't doubt it though.

Have a great evening everybody :)

Too late. Steven already told him we'd go.
Good Luck with your evening out. I think your second paragraph might explain why she is the way she is as noted in your first paragraph.... But.... good luck.

What's everyone up to tonight? I just finished cleaning up the kitchen. We had spaghetti for supper.

2x2s:: I was so happy to hear from you last night!!! Not so happy that you've got such a bad ear infection; hopefully some different antibiotics will do the trick?
Your "Moody" sweater sounds perfect to me!!! Is is Grumpy? I have a t-shirt that say I'm With Dopey. Corny, huh? I should bring all my Disney impulse purchase t-shirts to wear on this trip....you all would be so proud to be seen with me!!!:rotfl2:
Get to feeling better and THAT"S AN ORDER!!

pozey:: Posting your cheesecake recipe would be an excellent idea!!! I love cheesecake!!

Linda:: Kenny's wrestling sounds so cute!! He really gets into it, huh? 9 more days and I finally get to meet him. Sounds like he is quite the gentleman too!! Prince Kenny!!!

Amber:: EEWWWW!!!!!! The Saw movies sound so gross!!! I hate slasher movies and blood and gore!!! Give me a romantic comedy anyday!:thumbsup2

lyzziesmom:: Great!!! you found the perfect tiara for Emma!!! And she likes it too!!! Princess Emma... but I won't let her know I'm calling her Princess.;)
How annoying that they got her birth certificate wrong!! What a pain!!! Hope it doesn't take too long to get it straightened out!!

YourMajesty:: I'm with you,Queenie.....I don't think I'd ever be able to leave my guys behind while I went on a cruise. DH was talking the other night about how much he dislikes the water and a cruise is the LAST thing he would want to do for a vacation.:rolleyes1 That's ok, I've got a while to work on him!!
Girls trip??sshhhhh....don't want our hubbies knowing about that right now.:scared:

Michele:: That stinks about your Flexcare account!!! Hopefully that $$$ will get to you by the time you leave on the 2nd.
I hope you got your Photoshop to work. Sorry, I'm definitely no help at all!!

April:: Have fun on your evening out. Sounds like fun. You will be in my thoughts.

Geesh!! My MIL came up to me a while ago and asked how soon I could get a mover scheduled.....well actually a couple of guys to help DH is what she has in mind right now. She told me that she sort of told the people at her new apartment complex that she would be moving on this weekend!!:scared: She told me she would talk to DH more about it tomorrow!!!
I need an aspirin AND a drink!!! Heaven help me!!!:headache:

You poor thing!! Is it just me? I swear as I was reading this about your MIL I was picturing Grandma Mazur!:rotfl2: :lmao:

Although if my MIL were living with me I would have had movers on call a LONG time ago!!!:rolleyes1

Donna, for you:

It has been quite an experience.

I had a chance to tell Gary what she had told me and he said there ain't no way in heck (edited) she's getting moved this weekend unless she calls a mover and schedules this herself!!! popcorn::

I was trying to fix some red-eye. I had it set on a small size, I don't remember the number, but Matt kept ending up with a big, black blob all over his face!:confused3

Stop coming up with excuses!!:flower3: You are not backing out of this trip!! Yes, I talked to Mom!! And she tattled on you:lmao:

Hi snickerdoodles!!!!

What is up???? (that's the :snooty: version of whassssup????):lmao:

Pozey---WE WANTS THE CHEESECAKE!! WE WANTS THE CHEESECAKE!!
That pic of Courtney crashed on the floor is darling!!! She just goes, goes, goes and then......boom....hits the floor. Too cute!!

YM----I'm watching Deal or No Deal right now in your honor. Are you calling in for the case????? So sweet of you to think of our Cliqueless who can't make it this time around.
Yes, my dear-----dare to dream.
Funny girl on the Michele Tanner thing.:lmao: :lmao:

Betts----thanks for the lovely breakfast. The patio looks nice and relaxing-----just what you need right now. Don't worry about your MIL, I'm sure everthing will work out in a timely fashion.
Oh, you should see the cute t's I got at walmart that have Disney stuff on them. I couldn't pass them up, even if I just wear them for jammies.

Lyzziesmom----I had a dream that I was getting ready to leave for St. Louis airport and you and Emma came to my door to pick me up. I was shocked because I thought we were planning to meet at Orlando's airport, not here in St. Louis.:lmao: :lmao:
Yay for Emma finally getting her tiara. I was planning to try to find one too for the P&P party, but haven't had a chance to look around for one. Do you think the $1 one at Target is too cheaply made for even an adult?? (not insinuating that your kids are hard on things)
Good luck with getting Emma's bc straightened out. You shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes.

Linda----do you have to have passports for this trip?? I was hearing that some sort of thing went into effect yesterday.:confused3 :confused3
Kenny is such the gentleman!!!! I can't wait!!!!!

DznyFan----how are you feeling?? Everything somewhat back to normal???? Thanks for your concern about me-----everything will work out, I'm sure. Just dealing with alot right now!!!!!! I still haven't seen any results from my new treatments, but keeping hopeful and trying to keep a positive attitude----which is kind of hard, because I only have one more treatment (of the rituxan) left and since this is so experimental, well, who knows.
Anyway, I'm not sure if I congratulated Erin on her accomplishment of getting her part as Marion. Have they started rehearsals yet?? Or is it in the beginning stages?? (no pun intended;) ) I wish I was closer, I would love to come and see her perform. Road trip??
I may have to have one of those Cosmos that you posted for Donna. It would be fine with all of my meds, right??:lmao: :lmao: :rolleyes1

Lin----I am going to take some time this weekend and read your trippie. I can't wait!!
That's so sad about your marriage license--what if you wanted to frame it, or scrapbook it??? Coffee stain?? Sad.

Amber---gross!!! I cannot watch those kind of movies!!! I think I've mentioned in the past that I even sing Pozey's lala song at the commercials!!!!  I am a big 'ol chicken!!!!

April----have fun with your friend and his immature girlfriend. I feel for ya, girl!!!! Maybe you should have a drink before you go.

Michele----good luck with all of your contraversies. Don't ask me about the computer issues----you know who you're talking to.;) :dance3:

Where is Lesa, btw????

Ash---glad you're feeling better. Whatcha been up to??

Nicole---sorry to hear about the poster that your mom made for her class. I think I would have said something right then and there. I'm sure she worked too hard on it not to have it displayed.
How's your new cake class going?? Or is that over already??

Sewer---are you going to be the breakfast provider while Donna is attending the Cliqueless Convention??

did I miss anyone?? Sorry if I did----I am trying to go by memory and, well, you know mine is somewhat cobwebby at times----most of them, that is.:thumbsup2

Okay, a question for the ConventionEars or anyone else that may know-------Has anyone ever heard of a product that sports places sell to prevent blisters and such?? It is NOT the moleskin, but something like a cream that you apply and it dries to form a "protective" layer?? I swore I read about it here on the boards, but I cannot remember for the life of me (hence the cobwebs). I used the moleskin in October but it kept slipping----it did work most of the time, however, but I was just going to look into this other product.
Any info would be greatly appreciated----thanks.:snooty: :lmao:
