Hey Lyzziesmom! I'm doing ok. Just never have anything new to report. Nothing exciting ever happens around here!!

I'm sorry Emma's tiara broke again! I saw all those princess things at the dollar section at Target and thought of you. It's always fun to get some new make-up at Target! They have some cool stuff.

lyzziesmom:: I guess my brain just didn't click about my mom's name. I always call her Mom or Nana. The family has always called her my her middle name.
I'm baking cookies tonight, are you? Seems like we're always baking cookies at the same time!!
That's awful about Emma's tiaras breaking!!! I'm going to Claire's this week to look for a headband with rhinestones or something. I'll have to look at the tiaras. If I remember correctly they used to be a little pricey at Claire's.

I don't know if some of you remembered that my MIL came to live with us in October. She has been on a list for Senior housing at a really nice place a few miles from where we live. They have called her and action is being taken to get her and apartment by Feb. 1st. We have known for a few days that an apartment is available we just weren't aware of the time. That is the weekend I'm supposed to be in Florida. I didn't come right out and tell them I couldn't help with the move, but I can't expect DH to handle everything on his own. He wasn't feeling well this evening and I haven't questioned the plans, but I'm really hoping MIL can hold off moving until after I get back from my trip............So, that's what's been on my mind the last couple of days. I just have a bad feeling that's all.

Ashley! Something happened at Disney World that totally made me think of you. I just saw your tag and remembered.

We stayed at Pop, but one night we went to AKL for drinks and I used the bathroom. Well, wouldn't you know that they had nice, soft TP at AKL, Pop has the nasty stuff. My first thought was, "Ashley will appreciate this! I must tell her!"

Lyzziesmom- Oh No! Emma's tiara broke again! Like Lin said, try Libby Lu or Claire's. Their's might be a bit stronger.

I need to vent- Tonight I went to my cake class and my mom came along to work on some flyers to advertise her jewlery classes. (They don't really advertise their classes all that much.) Last week we went and bought some stuff to make a board to advertise her Valentine's class. She put hearts and a pic of what is to be made on it. Well when we came into the classroom, guess where her board was- in a corner underneath the aprons. I felt so bad for her because she worked so hard on it. She told my teacher about it and my teacher said that maybe it didn't meet the requirments. So she finished the flyers and hopefully they will like them. It's just the lady that hired her doesn't tell her these things until after she's already made the stuff.

Donna: I didn't bake cookies tonight. I made a cheesecake! And I think I'm going to have a piece before heading off to bed.

Nicole: That stinks about your mom's poster. I guess she will have to ask for a copy of the guidelines before she makes anything else?

Lyzzie is going to look in her playroom at my mom's house for one of her old tiaras for Emma. (That's where a lot of her toys still are from when we lived there, because when we moved our apartment was tiny so we didn't take much.) We think most of her old tiaras broke and got thrown away, but I'm pretty sure she has one or two still around somewhere. The only ones she can find right now are two from her last 2 birthdays at Park Fare and they say "Happy Birthday" on them, and she is not giving theme up! Even though those fit Emma the best. Plus I don't want anyone to think it's her bday when it's not. So that's my way too long & boring tiara story.

Lin: I don't really remember noticing a difference in the TP at AKL, but I did notice they had a really nice baby changing table! There was a little trap door right at the end of it that went right into the trash can - genius!

Heroes just keeps getting better & better!! Every time I start liking a show, it usually gets cancelled. I'm so glad this one is popular so that won't happen!


ETA: Tonight is the first P&P Party! I can't wait to hear reports on how it is. I'm really looking forward to it! I've never done any of the parties, so I don't really know what to expect but I'm sure it will be a blast.

Nicole, thats wierd. Do they not have a sheet of requirements? You are right that Michaels doesn't advertise their classes very well.

Lyzziesmom, can you PM me the recipe for your cheesecake? I have a springform pan but no recipe for a cheesecake!

Lin: No need for a PM, here is my recipe for cheesecake. The best part is, you don't need anything fancy, just a regular old pie plate and a hand mixer.

1. Go to store, buy Jello cheesecake mix
2. Open box
3. Follow directions on box
4. Enjoy

I have a 7th grade wrestler that works out with an area high school team, so in order to get him to the school on time I get to work 2 hrs early, so I can leave 2 hrs early. There are actually 2 guys in the picture, and in international wrestling (greco wrestling to be exact) one wrestler cannot touch anothers legs to take him down to the mat to score points. So, if you can, you slide around the other wrestler, pick him up, and throw him to the mat.

Donna, breakfast looks devine! I hope everything works out with your MIL and moving. If she's waited this long, what's a few more days?

Lin, that's so funny you mentioned TP. Mike hates that TP at POP, so next time he is bringing his own. I guess if you are paying all that money for a deluxe, they feel you should have soft TP.

As for cheesecake, they now have a tub of filling in the dairy isle. All you do is buy a premade crust and dump the filling in. No need to bake. Mike does that and then buys fruit to put on top.


We didn't do much last night. I just bought Song of the South, so we watched that (neither of us had ever seen it). I really don't get what is so bad about it.

I forgot to report on the new Plum book, "Plum Lovin'." I was surprised at how thin the book was. It was cute - a very entertaining read (of course) that took me all of 2 nights. A lot like the other "in between" book, but this one was based around V-Day and it did move the plot along a little bit, but not too much. Highly recommended!

Emma's new tiara broke too when I opened it, so it'll be back to Target again tomorrow for me. I was so upset... No more $1 tiaras at Target! The toy department was sold out of tiaras, so I might try the dollar store. I'll probably just end up getting her one at WDW, if at all. She's not really a fan of wearing things on her head, but how can she be a princess without a crown?

Lyzziesmom, I've been a little worried about 2X lately, too. I know she's started her new treatment regimen, but she usually comes around. This has been kind of a long dry spell for her. Sending and

I read about that site on the DIS (all good reviews) I am very happy with the quality. Iger stated that he won't re-release the movie, so this was my only change to see it.

Ok, today let's go here:

This is Au Beach in Oahu on the North Shore. My family (my husband, DS, mom, dad, & my brother's family) rented a beach house here in September and this was our view. Very quiet place and we had the beach to ourselves.

Anyway, I'm excited this morning because my new furniture should be delivered today.

How's the weather for everyone? We are actually going to have warmer weather through Friday. Of course more snow on Saturday & Sunday, but I'm thinking we might actually get quite a bit of this melted off this week. I hope so!
