Good evening all!!! I must apologize for the absence of breakfast this morning, Internet was being difficult!! DH had to re-boot when he got home. I used to able to do this myself, but now there are so many connections to disconnect, I can't remember which ones to do and in what order!!!!

Ash:: Goody for you!!! You've got a trip to plan!!! That stinks about the rent and the office lady!!! I don't think I'd pay that extra $$, sounds fishy to me.

well, I think Mike is happy I'm having car troubles...he's been emailing me about new cars all day check out this one...and this one... We get the GM discount..so I will use that I want something GOOD on gas...It is so hard to choose. Michele...I guess I'm like Blake...I could shop for months for a car before getting what I really want. If I'm spending that kind of dough..I want to be happy with it! My car was almost 50k...so I don't want something that expensive again just to run up and down the freeway 150 miles a day... but yet I love my car...I want to be comfortable, I love the heated seats, leather interior... UHHHH decisions decisions! I was looking at maybe the Impala, G6, Saturn Sky??? 30 mpg sounds great to me!

Donna...Yeah...he's going to be a fierce one I'll have my camera ready, not that it will do any justice. I'm sure he'll tell you all about in on our trip. I bought my car new in 99... barely drove it the first year or so but it now has 230k miles!! So, even w/the trans. rebuilt... I'm thinking I will probably just go ahead and get a new one in the next 6 months or so. Who knows...we may be driving one on our trip ...I absolutely LOVE my car...but I know it can't last forever. This is the first car I've had that I REALLY liked. Before I always wanted something different...I just can't decide what to do. With the discount and everything the car pmt. really wouldn't be too much uhhh decisions decisions... I think I'll just have to go drive some. Does your dh drive something w/good gas mileage? I'm tired of paying $100 a week just for gas such a waste of $$$. I mentioned MOVING closer to work...but he's not wild on that idea either.

Oh...I really like the Sky and Solstice!!! I like the looks of the Sky better but Mike likes the price of the Solstice Practical...that's what the other 2 vehicles are for The Solstice isn't a bad price but its a 4 cyl.... but it does get like 30 mpg... I'll have to drive them... I was looking at the G6 convertible too..that way you do have both. Good gas mileage, family practicality, and hard top convertible...

Linda, I have a cobalt and I LOOOOVVVEEEE it, it gets 28 miles per gallon in the city and almost 40 if all freeway driving. Kenny is the cutest!

Well, it's been an interesting week. First my dad ended up in the ER on Monday from a medication reaction...and we couldn't find my mom. Everything turned out fine. Then the school called while I was in the ER becuase DS had an itchy rash...which turned out to be nothing....thank goodness.

I need to catch up a bit more.

Hi, everyone!!! My internet issues are temporarily solved. Now the only problem is the nut behind the keyboard, if you know what I mean!

YourMajesty:: Sorry to hear you've had internet problems, too. I'm glad that your dad and DS are both OK. Poor YM....you need a vacation!!!

Linda:: My DH drives a Toyota Tacoma truck. It doesn't get the best gas mileage, about 26mpg, I think. We really needed a truck to haul stuff. Not to be politically incorrect or anything; but we almost always drive Toyotas. We pile on the miles and those things can go forever!!! I fell in love with the Camry Solara. It comes in a convertible. It looks like a Linda car...check it out.

It is available in a 4cyl(34mpg highway) or a 6cyl(29mpg highway). OK, Toyota commercial is over.


Well, had better run. I have to go change my day count on my countdown thread!!! I'll get right on that today, lyzziesmom!!!
