Your neighbor girl sounds like a dream come true. Where exactly do you find these older girls that WANT to babysit with your children? In our old house we lived next door to a girl that was a senior in high school when Nathan was just a baby. I asked her if she ever babysat and she said just for her cousins that were old enough to play games and such. Oh well.........

April...so glad you and your sister will be joining us! We'll be there Thurs. as well.

I know! I asked her to show me how she watches fireworks, and she started pointing & yelling. I thought, hmmmm, this is new! But when we saw fireworks on the planning video, she covered her ears with MY hands. Silly girl.

Thanks! I haven't posted too many pictures the place always seems to be a mess. Oh well, a little clutter never hurt anyone. The castle is a decal. It came in three pieces and was actually pretty hard to line it up! In the picture, you can kind of see the edges, but in real life it really looks like it's painted on. It's my favorite part of the room.

I'm so glad April is coming too! I think Emma was just being crabby when she said she doesn't like Kenny. She is always shy around people at first, but I just know she'll warm up to him really quickly! She will probably follow him everywhere & copy him like she does to Lyzzie, and drive him nuts!

My parents were here today working on the washing machine, and they left a little while ago. A few minutes ago there was this horrible loud noise coming from the laundry room - the washer was literally jumping 6 inches off the floor! I had already adjusted the clothes so they weren't uneven, so I have no idea what was going on but it was bouncing all over the place and the top - not just the lid - was coming off! I'm scared to go in there now. I think I need a new washer. The thing IS at least as old as me. It's harvest gold, for goodness sakes!

Pozey - I agree, I'd ask the babysitter to dinner, if she isn't tired of hangin' with you guys. Sorry you had to spend a weekend day in the office - ugh.

Donna, I think that stinks about Nathan's teammates. I mean - its a TEAM sport, right? Are they to 'good' to show up to practice? Gotta love the ones who want to be the star of the sport and try and take over a game.

Lesa - are you hanging in there today after last night's sleepover? Got to love the ones who want to chat all night...! DH and DD did a Campfire overnight a few years ago with a girl like that in their cabin. They still talk about that. I guess she wouldn't stop talking all night!

Lyzziesmom...too funny about Emma. I'm sure once she meets Kenny she will love him. The pictures look great...seems like your camera is going to be great.

Matt's basketball team is going backward, I think. They are 2-4, I think. Their coach is really young and has never done this before. He seems really nice, but I think he is in over his head. Of course it doesn't help that the Varsity coach, who really should be mentoring him, is a loon!!!

I didn't go anywhere today. I didn't sleep well and have been fighting a migraine all day. I actually took a nap today.

The good news is that Blake managed to fix Briana's laptop so I don't have to pay anyone to fix it.

I actually did pretty good today. Got up, worked out on the elliptical for awhile, tanned, relaxed in the hot tub, ran to Meijer for Turbo Tax... $75 for the stuff for rental properties , had a late lunch at Red Lobster. This morning before we ran to Meijer, I was getting out of a bath and I hear this crash... Mike asks if I'm Ok....yes... I thought it was him. It was a bottle of wine in the basement. It had too much pressure and just shattered...wine everywhere... oops! It was too warm in the basement..they're in the garage now.

so your dh likes Girl Scout cookies too I'll have to make sure I buy a dozen this year. throw them in the freezer. I always have to buy 3 or 4 boxes of a few different kinds. Thin Mints, Samoas, those ones w/fudge on the bottom... I forget what they're even called... then Mike has to get some peanut butter kind... I can't wait til the guys at work hit me up for an order.YUMMM

pozey: that is so sweet that your babysitter wanted Courtney to spend the night! I always knew Courtney was a special little girl. I would definitely invite the babysitter out to dinner. That is such a thoughtful gesture. Maybe she'd rather go tomorrow night, to have a break from the kids first?

April - our babysitter - has been with us all day. After Courtney spent the night, they all went to the park. After I got home from work, we all went to Runt's BBQ for dinner. Then we all came home and watched the movie Click. She just now went home.

For what it's worth, it sounds like your boss is a little nuts. But heck, if he wants to pay you for coming and doing nothing, that's his problem. Do you at least get overtime?

Ummmm.......yeah......I'm salaried......so......no.....no overtime.

Hi everyone!!

Lyzziesmom- I loved seeing the pictures of the house! Its funny, we have the same TV you have. We got it at Target the day after Thanksgiving when they had the big sales. Is that the gift that your parents got you? I remember you saying they told you they got you a big gift, but I didn't hear what it was since I was out of town. I love the bathroom colors!! I like the brown and pink color combo, its one of my favorites.

I want some Girl Scout cookies!!!! How can I find out where to buy some? I haven't seen any anywhere!!! When I lived in FL I used to see them outside Publix but I haven't seen them in the 2 years I've lived here.

Hope you all had a nice Saturday! We just went to Target and got some necessaties and now we are going to watch "My Super Ex Girlfriend".
