Seriously - after a long day of counting beans, I'd like to take you (and whomever else would like to go) to my favorite little "hang out" spot:

I hope you don't mind, but DH bought me the MM jacket from Walmart yesterday. It was so cute because he seemed sooo excited that he found it. I didn't have the heart to tell him lyzziesmom had one like it. I was hoping it was a different color, but after re-reading your description, they are exactly alike!!We'll work that one out if it's a problem. I have to at least pack it.

I Heart Disneyland said:Hello everyone! WOW---you move fast!!!Do threads ever close here? The old board I was on only allowed 1,000 posts and they closed it.

WE won't get offended and in fact, you need to be sure you do get your rest. We're the same. We may have to head back for naps for Kenny. Plus Mike and his back...he just can't go go go...So ConventionEars (brilliant, btw!!), JUST A WARNING----- please don't get offended if suddenly I would want to rest up or meet everyone later.
Oh...wouldn't a land and sea trip be so cool! Can you imagine our crew at dinner...they would be kicking us out of the dining room every night! I'm dying to do a disney cruise!
You know, even though I had this trip in my Christmas "stocking" and we told the kids it was a Disney trip(I guess they didn't grasp WDW)...my oldest DS started throwing a little fit the other night. I was going over our dining plans with my DH and DS was like you are going to WDW? No fair... I want to go....oopsie...like you didn't understand it was WDW the first time we talked about it? Well, he really didn't throw a fit but he was really wanting to go. He's my Disney nut!
Hope your appt. was ok. Mike had to go today too...he had a crown fall off. It was just temporary anyway... gee...we're just not having a good day around here are we?? You'll have that.Well, I am starting out my week by going to the dentist this afternoon. Whoopee!!
poor little Emma... when I was telling her this morning that tomorrow she will be in the car all day, she said, "Yes, I'm going to Disney World!"
"Where's my nest?" All morning, she kept asking where her nest went
YES...you can start planningI have been bugging DW lately about not having a Disney vacation currently planned. We have always saved money throughout the year and used Income Tax Refunds to pay cash for our trips.
Well, this year, we were planning on using the majority of the vacation money to pay off bills and to do a few things around the house, and then take a short vacation to St. Louis or somewhere like that.
Anyway......Colton and I were in the bedroom watching High School Musical last night and DW walks in just about the time there was a Disney commercial on. Actually, I think it was one of those Disney 365 shorts.
Anyway....I mentioned the new Nemo ride at Epcot. DW says.......if you want to go to Disney World this year.......just make it happen.
And what I have been talking about has been possibly going during Christmas time. I've never been during Christmas.
So.......I can start planning??????![]()

Awww. I feel your pain!Well we got the news from the mechanic about Briana's car...it's totalled!![]()
Good luck Colton and ChaseColton and Chase begin another round of Swim Meets tonight. It will be interesting to see how they do. They've only had 2 practices since getting back from Christmas break.
They are a little bit out of shape, so hopefully some of the other swimmers will also be out of shape.
Also.......I'm not sure what age group Colton will be swimming in. He is only 10, but in practice, the coach has him swimming in the same group as the 13 - 15 year olds. I have told the coach that it is alright with me if he moves Colton up to older age groups if he wants. But I'm not sure if he will or not.

Hope your headache goes away...That's so funny that you got the same sweater!! Isn't it so nice and warm and cozy? I am almost hoping for cool evenings so I can wear it! I don't mind if we match - I think that's pretty cool! I read this paragraph to Lyzzie and she thought it was so funny, because she was with me when I bought mine and I must have taken 10 minutes to decide which one to get. Your DH has good taste!
That looks so delicious.
Sometime this afternoon I developed a nagging headache which has turned into a whopper of a migraine. Two darvocet and a muscle relaxer haven't touched it, but I am a lot less snappy at the kids now!![]()
When Dh and I worked at WDW many eons ago, Christmas was my favorite time in the parks. I loved when it snowed on Main Street. I would love to go back. It seems extra magical then.pozey: Have you started planning yet? I've never been during Christmas either. I'm not sure if I would want to. I'd love to see all the decorations and go to the MVMCP, but I despise crowds. I've gotten so spoiled with going during the off season when everything is practically empty that I would get extremely annoyed with even "regular" crowds.
Michele, that just plan sucks about Briana's car.Well we got the news from the mechanic about Briana's car...it's totalled! He said he looked at it this morning and the engine is gone, naturally after we spent $200 bucks to put a new stereo in the darn thing. Blake said we'll talk later, but I need to decide what to do. We can either spend probably $3000 for an older used car OR we can get a new one for me and pass down my car
I don't know, I was really enjoying no car payments!! I was hoping to keep that going for quite a while longer. I will have to get the ads out. I don't even know what I would want
I hope your mouth is feeling better soon.Hi guys and gals!!! I'm home early thanks to a trip to the dentist! I am now minus one annoying tooth. It's towards the back, so it doesn't show, thank goodness!!
Sorry about you day Linda. That really stinks about your car.Ok, I'll have to catch up...
I had one of the most awful days todayI know it could be worse...but you know how I have like an hour and 1/2 drive to work...well I get about 10 minutes from work this morning. I'm low on gas, so I get off to fill up. I get off the ramp and my car just DIES... no power. its still started just revs...w/no power... The police came shortly after to make sure I was ok. I told him I was fine and had a cell phone etc. so he leaves. I call Mike and explain what the car is doing etc. I had to call a tow truck to take me to the dealership 2 miles away
then they tell me what I already knew.... My transmission is shot!!!
Mike rented a car dolly and came and picked us up. I just had that trans. rebuilt this time last year! The dealer wanted $4200 plus tx. for a new tranny or the people that did it before said they'd see what they could do. $1500 tops to rebuild it. So, today was very expensive. $69 tow, $52 dolly fee, $128 dealer diagnostic, and probably $1500 for a transmission repair!!! What is so aggravating is I'm sitting there thinking that is money I would rather spend at Disney!!!!
I never did make it to work, they just called me 100 x's on my cell!
That is such a cute story. She is looking for her nest.x
One more funny Emma story: This morning when I was reminding Lyzzie to brush her hair, I said, "You have a nest in there like Emma" (Emma has just about the worst morning hair I have ever seen!) and Emma, who we did not think was paying attention, touched the top of her head and said, "Is this my nest?" Then after I brushed Emma's hair, she touched the top of her head again and said, "Where's my nest?" All morning, she kept asking where her nest went!
When Brittany was little and I would comb her hair I would always tell her we needed to get the rats out of her hair. She would run screaming from me yelling she liked her rats in her hair and they were her friends.![]()
