2026 Oscars

What are your thoughts on this year's upcoming Oscars? I personally think it will be a decent watch with Conan O'Brien set to host the show again.

I'll be honest, I don't watch them anymore. I generally check to see who won the next morning and seek out worst dressed lists to see what crazy stuff the celebs wore but unless there is a streaker or a kerfuffle of some kind I don't even look at clips.

Same here...I don't watch any of the award shows anymore. Curious the next day who the winners are and see some of the best/worst dressed list. They give me an idea of a movie I might want to be on the look out for and maybe watch.

In spite of myself, I look forward to them every year. They’re big popularity contests, but still fun to watch. And sometimes they even get it right. If One Battle After Another wins, this will have been one of those years.

Yes! Imzadi does an awesome job preparing us all for the show and taking us thru the show. It's a great time.

I'll be honest...every now and then I'll have strong feelings about the nominees but most times I'm watching for the fashion (women more than the men). While not as avant-garde as the Met Gala, there is still some amazing wearable art that hits the red carpet. The jewelry could be a show in itself. It should be pretty entertaining with Conan hosting as well.
