Evening everyone!

We had fun at Nana's birthday, my Italian Cream Cake was a big hit. Then we stopped at Rosa's Tortilla Factory on our way home (they don't have any in Dallas) and headed home to watch the Oscars. I was glad that Jennifer Hudson won...but Happy Feet beat Cars? Whats up with that...can you say Political Agenda?

Are we ready for a cruise?!

Hi Lin----your Italian Cream Cake sounds yummmmm!!!!! I'm glad everyone loved it. I have to agree with you on the HF/Cars competition. No way ----Cars had a great message too.

Hey 2xcited...gald you found your papers. As for that other story I probably would have done something like this.:scared1: I'm not sure it I would have ratted or not? Don't you just hate that....? Glad you benadryl kicked in and you didn't have to watch.:cloud9: :cloud9:

Well folks...I think I'm turning into a pumpkin. Good night!:cloud9:

I know!!!!!! And he wasn't just taking one thing at a time----he was literally gathering several---each time!! It's like he was stocking up for the winter!! I just kept thinking----dude----someone has to pay for those-----no wonder health insurance is so expensive!!

Night night for real this time.

Good morning, everyone!!! So....is anyone ready for spring?? I want warmth and sunshine!! :sunny: It's been in the 80's in Orlando. Conventionears; remember the weather 3 weeks ago when we were there? :cold: Anyway, how's about some jelly donuts this morning with a nice hot cup of coffee or cocoa!!

I hope you all have a Totally Awesome Tuesday!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Now, for a little recap before I start my day!!

Lin:: Your Italian cream cake sounds yummy!! I'll bet your desserts are always the hit of the party!

YourMajesty:: Deal or No Deal!!! DUH!!! When you were talking about playing the lucky case, I was thinking the Coke case game. I remember the Deal or No deal game now!!!
I did post about Nathan's cake. Unfortunately, the poor boy is saddled with an unimaginative Mom!! I'll know what to do for next year though. We weren't able to go to the banquet last year and I had NO idea that the cakes would be so elaborate!!

2x2s:: I don't know what I would have done about the snack stuffing son. Probably just watch in awe I suppose. popcorn::
good luck with thoses lotter tickets, Cupcake!! I did match 3 numbers from Sat. night, but have yet to collect my winnings.
:grouphug: For your treatments today.

Michele:: Where you been? Did the company from Illinois wear you out? Aren't you back in school this week? Inquiring minds want to know!!!;)

Well, better run!!! Talk with you all later!!!

Good morning Donna! I'll take one of those donuts, a cream filled one please! Oh, and a cup of java. You Martha Stewart you!;) :lmao:

It is a mild 29 degrees today. I'm hoping for some sunshine, I need a nice sunny spot to lay in so I can close my eyes and dream happy warm thoughts!:beach:

/
Amber----5 inches of snow without it being forcasted??? Wow!!! I'm glad your mom was able to be rescued in the snow. Scary. How far does she live from you??

She lives about 15 minutes away. Most of the snow has already melted. I am so ready for spring.

Thank you Lesa. :cutie: Donna was on another Thread I post on and told me about this one. I love to see what she is serving for breakfast each morning.

Donna does whip up a wonderful breakfast every morning! She makes a killer
Tonga Toasthint hint hint:rolleyes1

Good Morning All!

I am so excited. I talked to Mike more about going on a cruise (I had promised only one Disney trip a year) and he said we can probably go!!! :woohoo: So, when are we going?
suitcase.gif
I've already started looking at the shore excursions.

I hope everyone had a good night. We just stayed home and watched How I Met Your Mother and The Class. I love those shows; they are too funny.

Have a great day everyone!

OHHHH. I said 'naughty'....
Sorry Ashley, it took me till this morning to see the word was naughty not nasty. :headache:

Deal or no Deal...the lucky case was $20,000 tonight...enought for a nice cruise.:yay: Some darn girl from WI won.:badpc:

Glad you are home and had a nice weekend. I've been thinking the same thing about Sophie. She's digging up our yard and barks all day long. Sorry about your headache:headache: ...hope you feel better in the am.
:cloud9:

I'm going to go check out some of the cruise websites. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'm seeing much higher prices on the Disney site. Linda I'm plugging in 4 (2 adults) (2 kdis 7 and 10)...???

We would be really limited on our October time. I can't take the boys out for a week...we have our fall break the third week of October every year. It's three days so I could add on two. I need to look and see what week that would be.
I knew I was missing some good show!:happytv: DH had taken over the t.v. with men crap!!! Darn it, I could have been the winner!:cool2: What is it with dogs? Anyone know how a cruise works with DVC?

Well, I've officially lost my mind, but I think I found it.:lmao:
My other story for the day--------my funny/sad/don't know what to do about/do I have a right to do anything about it, story.
I notice him gather about 4 or 5 sausage/cheese snacks and put them in the pocket of his sweatshirt. Okay, I didn't think much of it. He then comes back and sits down next to his mom and slyly puts them in her purse. I kid you not-----5 minutes goes by and he does the same thing. Walks over, acts like he is looking at a magazine (I thought of this smilie----:rolleyes1 ), opens the drawer and gathers more snacks and puts them in his sweatshirt pocket then comes back and loads up her purse. He seriously did this every 5-10 minutes at least 6 times before my benadryl kicked in and I was out like a light. I don't know what happened after this. At one point, though, I did hear the mother say, "okay, that's enough". While I was still awake, my eyes just kept getting wider and wider and for the Cliqueless who have met me, know that I just wanted to put my hand over my mouth and start cracking up!!!!!! But, in a way it was so sad!!!! I felt is was not my place to say something to them or to the nurses, but I wanted so badly to tell the nurse to look in her purse!!!!:scared1: :rolleyes1 :lmao:
What would you have done???
I lost my mind some time ago and don't think I found all of it yet.;) When I first read your story about the snack bandit, I missed his age.:scared1: I don't think I would have said anything, but he sure would have had a burning evil eye following him!
mad_smile.gif

Hi Lesa----welcome back!!! Did you and Michele keep out of trouble??
As tempting as it is-----adopting Gracie and all, well.........I like my couch.:confused3 :rolleyes1 Thanks for the offer anyway.:cutie:
Hope your migraine doesn't linger too long.

I should get to sleep-----I have a doctor's appointment early in the morning then have to make my trip to the license bureau. fun times.
Darn it, I knew I should have left out the part about the couch!
headsmack.gif
We had a very busy weekend! Did we stay out of trouble....of course not, trouble seems to follow us! Good luck with your day, watch out for the snack bandit!

Anyone know what the heck this is suppose to be?

Good Morning crew!

How is everyone doing?

A 2008 cruise sounds fun! I'll probably try to join you depending on when you go.

Well, Keagan's parent/teacher conference went well. He's a good, smart boy!

My head is just spinning with all the stuff I need to do for the move, but I can't start any of it until after we meet with the new company this weekend. They have me meeting with a realtor on Friday to look at the housing there, that should be fun. I love to look at houses.

Well, I'd better go feed my family. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

2X- I'm glad you found your papers! I would have been going crazy! :sad2: The nerve of the snack bandit.

Yeah, the people that got booted needed to go.

What are you having for dinner tonight? We are going out but I'm not sure where.
We ordered in pizza and I made a caesar salad. yum!

Hey Bon :cool1: I haven't read the thread about the girl on American Idol....I didn't think she was very good in the first place and then those pictures came out....To be honest I read a gossip website everyday and they had the pictures up which I saw, and I was/am pretty disgusted that she posed in those pictures taken at the WWII memorial....I find it REALLY disrespectful and totally not classy...so I think she should be voted off for THAT...and the fact that she isn't very good ;) I don't know, just my opinion. I'm not sure what I'm having for dinner, we're going out too but we don't know to where!!!
I agree, Nicole - that was completely disrespectful. If she chooses to lower herself to that level, that's her choice, but don't dis on the WWII vets.

Yum - Italian Cream Cake. The one that got me for Political Agenda was the song winner. Over Dreamgirls??? (don't get me wrong - I like Randy Newman's work, too!) but Dreamgirls! come on! If that's not political agenda, I don't know what is! :confused3

:lmao: so THAT explains it!! I don't know what I'd have done - just let it go, I guess - but I would have wanted to say something! That's just not cool.

Donna - thanks for the donuts - and I'm with you... ready for spring!

: What is it with dogs? Anyone know how a cruise works with DVC?
So sorry to hear about the third couch! What is it with her and couches!?
DVC and the cruise - we haven't used our points to cruise - we just pay cash - but I know the conversion rate is pretty high (it takes a lot of points).

YM - some friends of mine are going on the 4 night cruise over fall break and for their category 7 stateroom their cruise came to right around $2.5K for three of them. that included transfers and insurance.

I'm going to go check out some of the cruise websites. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'm seeing much higher prices on the Disney site. Linda I'm plugging in 4 (2 adults) (2 kdis 7 and 10)...???

3rd week is fine for me! I always decline the insurance and transfers. They're up to $70 pp:scared1: that's ridiculous!

Well, I've officially lost my mind

He then comes back and sits down next to his mom and slyly puts them in her purse. I kid you not-----5 minutes goes by and he does the same thing. glad you found it!!
loading her purse! I'd want to laugh too:rotfl2: or say something. I'm w/you, I probably wouldn't, still funny.

ooh, count me in!!!!!:snooty: :lmao: (seriously)

Linda----your pics really make me want to cruise!!!!! In a bad way!!!! Kenny was a little ham even back then, huh??
Wow, DCL transfers are that much?? When I went we just did the cruise and this is when my sister lived in S. Florida, so we just drove to port. We didn't do WDW land.
Sorry to hear of your almost accident. Was she putting on mascara????

I bought lottery tickets today.;)
I'm ready! Yes Kenny has always been a ham! I have some of him winking at me:lmao: too cute! Actually the transfers are $70! that is ridiculous! She wasn't putting on mascara, she's lucky too :rolleyes1

I am so excited. I talked to Mike more about going on a cruise (I had promised only one Disney trip a year) and he said we can probably go!!! :woohoo: So, when are we going?

I've already started looking at the shore excursions.
I love the on shore excursions! I'll have to check out the ones we'd be able to do! This time Kenny should be able to swim w/the dolphins!!!! Mike will love it!!! Promise.

A 2008 cruise sounds fun! I'll probably try to join you depending on when you go.

I love to look at houses too! Good luck!:goodvibes Glad Keagan had a good report:cheer2: That would be so awesome if you guys could join us. We're planning Oct. 08 at the moment.

Lesa:scared1: Gracie ate another couch!!! Bad Gracie!!! Mike would kick my @$$ if I brought home an animal:rolleyes1 we all have allergies.

Hope everybody has a great day. Mike is torturing me. He woke me up this morning and says he wishes that we were on the top deck of the Mickey ship:crazy: I think he's enjoying this!!!!:rotfl:

Dr. appt. this morning was great. I was in and out w/in 15 minutes:woohoo:

Dznyfan...I'll have to send you a pm :yay:

I just looked at the third week of Oct and got a quote for $928 for a cat 12. I didn't look at the land/sea, because I want the dining plan.
