I was so excited b/c as soon as we were in our room I looked out and saw dolphins right along side the ship. I was so excited!!!

I loved seeing the big screen for the 1st time

after the pirate party they played POC2 on it. It was too awesome! They played cartoons on it...all kinds of cool stuff. A few different movies...

The coconut races thank you YM !!

Mike snuck and snapped this of Kenny and I on Kali River Rapids. My legs got soaked b/c I didn't pay attention and cover my legs w/the poncho enough oh well...we still had fun!

Hi everyone! (Steven is already making "air" keyboards my way and making comments about how I "feel better already, dontcha'?")

We just got in about a half hour ago. My Dear, Dear, dear darling husband extended our stay!! What a guy! On Tuesday morning I got up (after that horrible stomach pain the night before ) and started packing up but Steven had stepped out. I said to Sherri, "Where did he go???" She didn't know. So I just kept packing up and I was a little frustrated that he just cut out like that. Well, around 10am he comes back in with all this paperwork and announces that he had the room until Thursday. I thought he was just pulling my leg and I was like, "Shut-up!" But it was true! He said he was trying to get it until Saturday but they could only do until Thursday. He did eventually get through Saturday but we had to move to Saratoga Springs on Thursday night.
Extending our stay has always been a dream of mine. EVERYTIME we go I always say, "Let's just stay a little longer." But we never can. Things just worked out this time that he was able to do this special thing for me. What a guy!
We left yesterday around 11am and made a pit stop in Clermont, FL. I've always wanted to see the place and it is beautiful! They were having new development Open Houses all over the place so we toured about 4 developments. They say sales have slowed since the boom in 2005 so they were ready to make "deals" with us. I wish!!

I've managed to pick up a lovely cold so we didn't push through last night. We stayed somewhere in GA and started again about 9:30am.

I haven't caught up on our thread and I don't have my pictures downloaded yet.

But I just wanted to say I had a great time with you all!! It was so much fun and I'm glad we were able to be a part of our meet! I'm so glad I got to meet you all and I wish it didn't have to end so soon.

I'll be back soon and hopefully I can get my pictures downloaded and share them with my fellow cliquers. PMs, of course. I need to see what I've missed on our thread here.

April... I'm so glad you made it home safely. How lucky that you were able to extend your stay. I'm with you, I've always wanted to but never could. Lesa and I were joking about it this time...she has DVC points that we could have used but, not lucky enough

Steven was a doll to do that for you. I'm glad we got to see you at the MK on Tues so we could say goodbye...even tho you tried to sneak away. Thanks for stopping her Steven!

Linda, what great pictures. I saw where you posted on the trip report about the castle stay. I was reading it but not paying attention to who was posting when I saw your castle picture, and thought wait that looks familiar!!

Oh that's too funny. I thought they might enjoy it Right after that post I got a pm saying I HAD to post it on the picture of the day thread....so I posted it there too!

That was the first time we rode in the front. Kenny loved it. It was fun. Great view too. We went through the Contemporary and Kenny saw Goofy at Chef Mickeys...he was like...hey wait...are we eating there this trip? oops... no, not this trip. it was very cool!

Yesterday Jeremiah & I just ran some errands and then came home and watched the movie "The Marine" and I made some M&M cookies.

You mean you did not think "The Marine " was theatrical genius??? I mean John Cena was blown up at least 3 times with nothing more than ripped clothes and a few scratches.... c'mon if that isn't realism I am not sure what is. I can't wait until we get your film developed and I can see more of your pics. I am glad you had a good time on the trip.

Dznyfan, we are sailing on the Mariner on June 10th of this year. Sadly I am the only one interested in visiting historical sites and sightseeing...and since I am the lone family member that hasn't been around since at least the age of 12 I keep getting vetoed. There is a good possibility I will skip an excursion day and hang by myself on the boat.

My cake had a little bit of a mishap on the way to my inlaws last night. Chris and I had to take two different cars and he put it in the seat instead of on the floor so it was tilted and the layers slid...so I had to try to put it back together. I have a picture of it but need to download it to the computer. It was SO good.

Mike was watching that last night too. Then back to the UK basketball game. Oh, you have to read the castle TR... so awesome! Interesting how they find out what to give, where and when too I wish you guys could have won it!!!


Take care of yourself and that young wrestler of yours. Kenny had his 1st tournament today. He lost his first match. It didn't seem to bother him at all. You could tell the other kid was worked w/a LOT. His 2nd match he won...and his third he lost. He could have won his third easily but he doesn't understand the whole points thing yet. He let him go and the other kid won by points. He had him too.... oh well, that's how they learn He did great for his first time. He got two metals!

I can't wait for our next convention!!

The kids are kinda cute when they wrestle for the first time! As long as he enjoys it he'll have fun for a long time.

Donna: Thanks for the yummy breakfast. I had some after my cinnamon toast. You did a great job telling your Kenny story. It had me rolling this morning. I think he was the highlight of the trip!

Lesa...did the soup help? It seems like February is peak season for winter illness.

I'm feeling much better today thank you! I was finally able to eat the soup around 7 last night. Dh called to say it was ready and when I went to get myself a bowl the soup was boiling in the pot. I told him soup is suppose to simmer not boil! After a few cups of ice to cool it down it was really good! I meant to ask you, and I may have asked you way back when, what asthma medicine is your son on?

Lesa----hope you are feeling a bit better. You need to drink some hot tea with your chicken soup. I'm sure the weather is not helping, plus some of our nights in the cold mist.

I am thank you! Still have a bit of a cough. I'm just glad I didn't catch what the kids had before I went to Florida! My knee is a bit better, it still bothers me when I walk the stairs, so I try not to do that! How are you doing? I hope your still feeling the effects of your vacation! Wow, you do eyebrow waxing house calls?

I'm just trying to recover from nasty cold I picked up last week, and making sure my young wrestler puts his ringworm cream on!

I have nothing else to say to that! I hope your feeling better!

This is probably TMI but...My toes have been killing me since the first day in Disney. I wore my tennis shoes that I never wear. Well today I decided to take my nail polish off to look at them. Both of my big toe nails are bruised. The one is totally purple and I believe a blister formed under it. O.k. enough, I'm getting queasy again!

Lizziesmom: I hope your feeling better! Eat some soup!

Hi everyone!!!

After hearing about the snow storm thats coming tomorrow, Jeremiah and I decided to go to the grocery store for some much needed essentials. While in the candy aisle, I was reminded of something that happened on our little trip.

Lyzziesmom, Emma and I were in the FQ gift shop. Lyzziesmom asked me to look after Emma while she was returning a shirt that didn't fit her. Somehow, we ended up at the candy section and Emma found the Pez. Apparently, this is her favorite candy and her and Lyzziesmom had been searching for it for quite a while (I think they had found it that day or the day before at a park.)

Anyway, as soon as Emma spotted it she started screaming, "MOM!!! LOOK! I FOUND THE PEZ! MOMMY, PEZ!" and Lyzziesmom screams across the store "OH, GOOD EMMA! YOU FOUND THE PEZ" and she was laughing hysterically too. I don't know they this struck me as so funny and cute, probably because Emma seems pretty shy at first and I just thought it was so adorable that she got so excited about it. Then it was even more adorable because she started arranging the refill candy all in a row because it was thrown in the bin and looking messy.

Anyway, this little story made me smile after I remembered it, I've been suffering from the post-Disney vacation blues!
