I'm so upset!! I lost ALL my pictures from WDW - my memory card went bad. I put it in my card reader, and it didn't work so I figured it was a problem with the reader. I put the memory card back in my camera, and it says I need to format the card or insert another card - I can't get any of the pictures off the card!! I'm sitting here at work crying because I'm so upset. I had over 500 pictures from the trip and I just don't know what to do. I don't think I can fix this.

Oh, man, that would suck big time!! Before you dismiss them as being gone forever, you might try and call a good photography store – like Wolfe Camera, Ritz Camera, Camera Gallery or some place like that – to see if there is anything they might be able to try.

Yes, but I'm not buying those and anyway, there aren't any pictures in there of everyone else, or the special moments that PhotoPass isn't there for. I posted on the Photography board, I'm hoping someone there can help me.

Hey Guys I'm so glad to be back...did I just say that oh man, what's wrong w/me. Well, its glad to be able to be back in touch w/you guys. As you saw...I got lazy at the last minute and decided not to take my laptop please forgive me

We got in about 10pm last night. Mike said I wasn't allowed on here until everything was put away and the house back together So, the 5 loads of laundry are done, everything is done and I've read the 30 or so pages I missed while I was gone. Shew, now I need a nap!!!

OK - it's about 3:30 eastern time, which means Linda has been on the BOAT for probably about 1 - 2 hours, she's probably got her Palo (adults only restaurant) reservations, got her spa reservations, and they're probably eating at the big buffet - or Kenny is in the pool. The sail away party will be gearing up in about an hour. They'll be in Nassau, Bahamas tomorrow! Lucky Linda! (OK, so I'm almost more envious of her than the other girls....)

Everyone have fun at their various Superbowl parties - and drive safely on your way home!

well, I made all my reservations online before we left, so that was all good It was pretty breezy so we went up for the sail away celebration but the pool was EMPTY for the most part until Wed!!! It was so awesome though!!!! Nassau was very windy. We got off for an hour or so and that was about it. We did have Palo resv. for Sunday though. Yummm!!!

I'm wishing I had taken the boys to Disney this weekend, Connor had a 1/2 day on Wednesday and off on Thrusday and Friday so it would've been perfect and Thursday was Ben's birthday the big #4! We had his party at Chuck E. Cheese (I swore I would never do a birthday party there!) and everyone had a great time and it was empty since we had the party at 10am I think that's key to low crowds!!

Happy belated Birthday Ben!!!

Well, it is currently 54 degrees in Kissimmee right now. And it is approximately 9:40 local Disney time, so I would venture to guess that the cliqueless crew is NOT riding Kali River Rapids.
And riding Expedition Everest might FEEL like they are on Mt. Everest.

That being said, I would trade places with them in a heartbeat!!

oh yes we did! ok, not the day you posted this...we rode them on Friday I'll post pix later here shortly.

Ooh! speaking of careers, my DH is setting me/us up as an ITA! We've talked about it for about a year now, then it got put on the back burner, now he's been researching who to affiliate me with. It will fulfill my dream to be a Disney 'consultant' (which I am anyway, I just don't get paid for it) and allow us to travel more as well! I'm very excited.


Linda had her day at Nassau, Bahamas yesterday, and today is at Castaway Cay!!! (Oh, lucky, lucky Linda......) white sand beaches, lots of fun watersports, or possibly a cabana massage while Kenny is off with the other kids on the beach...

oh, that sounds awesome!!! so much fun. Samantha Brown has the best job ever!!!
Castaway Cay was great but Kenny played in the sand in pants it was chilly and very few people in the water.

I'm kinda with you here. We've been on a couple of cruises (both before kids). One of them was on Royal Caribbean. We LOVED it. And as much as I LOVE Disney, and everything Disney related, I would probably go on another Royal Caribbean cruise. I LOVE their ships.


The boys swam great. Chase won all 3 of his events. He hasn't lost a race since his very first meet.
Colton won 3 out of 4 races. He slipped really bad on his backstroke start, and finished in 2nd. His coach moved him up to the 11/12 year old age bracket again. He won butterfly by almost 1/2 a pool length.

I got paid one of the nicest compliments I have ever had last night. Our team was the "host" team last night, so the parents of the swimmers on our team had to volunteer to be timers, hand out ribbons, and a few other things. Well, my "job" was to be the starter and announcer. I announced the events and called the racers to the blocks and started the races.

I also "help" the coach as much as I can by getting the swimmers in the right places and such. I love working with kids and coaching.

Well, anyway, after the meet, one of the parents of one of the swimmers from the other team came up and told me that she thought it was wonderful to see a dad so involved in their kids' activities. She said "That tells me all I need to know about you." That was SO nice.


Me too!! It was a very nice surprise. Totally unexpected!!

Awww that is so awesome! Way to go Colton and Chase!! The family we ate dinner w/on the cruise loved Royal Caribbean also. This was their first Disney cruise b/c they had a 2 1/2 yr old daughter...her name was Emma as well. it was too funny.

I really like Samantha Brown, and I think she has the PERFECT job. I mean, I was watching the show last night... she gets paid to travel, go on cruises, go to WDW, go to Europe. She was attending a wine tasting and a tequila tasting on the cruise show last night - she gets paid to drink wine!! She was swimming with dolphins and stingrays on the show... and getting PAID to do it.

She has it MADE! I'd love that!!

I don't exactly recall if Linda took a 3 or 4 night cruise, but if it was a 3, she will have disembarked this morning. If it's a 4, she has her day at sea, and she's cruising up and down eastern Florida coast.

They took us down around Freeport and just sailed around to find some nice weather! It was in the 80's but the only "nice" weather we really had our whole trip. It was the only time anyone was really in the Mickey pool the whole time. You'd see two or three that would be in there but Wed. it was finally packed and the kids were really having fun.

Hi Everyone. April was able to stay until Saturday. They have to move from Old Key West on Thursday to Saratoga for the remainder but who wouldn't move for a few extra days at disney.

On Saturday we were able to meet a member of the dream squad named Brandon. Unfortunately we didn't receive anything but he did tell us that if we send in a postcard daily, they do mail out prizes. Oh, and I booked our WDW trip-- 7 night Western cruise and 6 days at the world in December. So, now I'm in planning mode-- driving my family crazy Anyway, we've never been on a Disney cruise nor have we seen Disney with all the holiday decorations up so it should be fun! My son goes to year round school and he's off track from Thanksgiving to New Year's so we're going the first of December and will hopefully avoid the crowds!

did you format the card? If the card wasn't 100% full there are ways to recover them. I know there are free programs you can use to recover them. It'll be ok! I only took like 230 pix but some cute ones of Emma I'll send you.

I would have no idea how to fix that- I can't even load film in my own camera.

When I took it out of my pocket Tues night I placed it on the pants I was going to wear the next day. I had them lying on the chest at the foot of the bed. I guess I picked up the pants the next morning without noticing the license and it fell under the bed.

It was a long trip, but I can't wait to do it again. First Mike was saying that we're not going back til 09'!!! Then I waited and told him we were throwing out ideas of late 08' trip so then he was like....well, maybe. Then last night on our way back he was like.... just don't start hinting about another trip until I have time to forget how long this drive is Does he know me or what

No problem giving you guys a ride. I would have driven all of us around, but just not enough space. It all works out and we had so much fun!!!

I was pretty impressed w/it myself. I was finally trying some features I read in the book before I left it turned out pretty good. You can tell we're pretty close and looking up...but I like it. We were there for the P&P party... we watched the parade then the Dream w/Mickey show on the stage and then the fireworks were after that...it was great! We didn't have the best view of the fireworks but we did for Wishes that night...so no biggie...but it was so much fun overall we walked on several things w/no wait!!! That's always fun!

I knwo what you mean about the drive tho. Last Aug was the first time we've flown in a while...that drive is bad! We bought a conversion van just for those drives but man, I thought as the kids got older the easier it would be. Not!! When they were younger they would sleep for more of the drive, the bigger they got they couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep and that drive got really long!!!

Of course the flight took too long for Matt. That was pre-meds. Being cooped up in his seat for 2 1/2 hours was making him crazy! He didn't listen to me and brought nothing to keep himself entertained. He ended up with his head down on the tray and I had to rub his back for about 2 hours to keep him from losing his mind.

It is so nice in my house right now...I am alone!!! Bree is at work and Blake and the boys have gone skiing. Keep your fingers crossed that no one gets hurt. This is the boys first time!

Welcome back Linda! Sorry to hear the weather wasn't that great for your cruise, but it sounds like you guys had a good time anyway. Kenny is so cute - it's too bad he didn't have more time to play with Emma. She doesn't usually sleep that much!! But I guess looking back, maybe she wasn't feeling so hot the whole time? She is starting to get better now, she has been kind of crabby so we can tell she's feeling better! She had to tell my mom all about Kenny and how he gave her candy fries - which she still hasn't finished - and how he is her favorite friend.

I think I recovered most of my pictures with a free recovery program I found. There were still a few it just couldn't get, but it looks like most of them are there, although they are all out of order which really irks me. I copied them onto my jump drive and am copying them onto my home computer now, I will go through them tonight and hopefully have some up soon. I was SO upset all day until I knew for sure they weren't lost for good!!

Lyzzie's musical was really cute. She didn't have a speaking part but the kids who did were so funny - one of them was reading his lines off of his hand!

Ashley, those pictures look great! You and your mom are so cute together, I hope I have that kind of relationship with my girls when they get older. Was that Beverly you were drinking? I can't believe we didn't get the chance to all go to Club Cool together... I really wanted to add to my collection of pictures of people drinking Beverly!

Hi, everyone!!! I've been home from work for a while.....catching up on the days' posts.WOW!!! One week ago today I was riding the tram to the Main Terminal at MCO!!! Was that just a week ago?!

Glad to hear you all enjoyed the Tonga Toast. I have to agree with Lesa and Michele; I think Kona was one of my most enjoyable meals, too!! The pic isn't one of mine, but I think 2x2s order the Lilikoi juice....it smelled yummy!!!

I have been busy practicing my and in front of the mirror. My best ones are still and !!!!
