Good Morning Everyone!

Thank you for letting me vent the other night and for the advice. Right now he isn't going to apply for that job opening (for various reasons), but he has talked to them about future openings. Ideally, he would like to get out of his line of business altogether, so he's looking into other options.


Lesa, I think Ashley gave good advice. Brittany broke the rules and needs to be punished. You aren't being a bad mom; you are just trying to protect her.


I took off work yesterday. We were having a second Tivo installed (the appointment was scheduled between 1-5). At 4:30, the guy calls and said he won't be there until 7:30! At 6:30 he comes, but then doesn't want to run a line because it was dark and he would have to crawl under the house. So, he installed the box and is coming back today to run the line. I'm not really even sure what the line is for, since the Tivo was just replacing a receiver.

Any plans for this weekend?? We are probably going to the Disney Store tonight and then just relax this weekend.

Lyzziesmom - I can't view your photopass pics on my work computer, and I haven't had a chance at home to go look at them yet.... I'll get there!

I know. I've seen her on TV in interviews since her son passed away and I just feel so badly for her, and for her baby girl. She looked really horrible, I can't say I'm really surprised. I hope her daughter ends up in the right hands.

You know, that whole thing has been just a crazy media frenzy the past couple months!! And I have to say (ever the cynic, I am) that all of the interviews I've seen her do in recent months, she's obviously heavily medicated. She just doesn't talk like a normal person does - she talks and like she just took about 5 Valium. I was not surprised either when I heard about this yesterday.

O thank you Donna. The tonga toast looks just like I remember it! I want to go back!!!! It is hard to believe 1 week ago today we were all on our way. What a great time we had! I want to go back and do it again!

I removed the IM from the computer last night. Apparently all but a few of her friends have made personal pages. The picture she added of her friend was a picture her friend has posted of herself on her personal page. Her friends are all from good families, but it boggles my mind the things they think it is o.k. for the kids to do at this age. I am usually the mom dragging her feet and saying no a lot of the time. That's why I was beginning to wonder if I was just being one of those overly protective parents. Thanks to my cliqueless pals for reassuring me I'm not the nutty parent!

I really don't have any plans this weekend. I am starting to come down with a cold and I have a sore throat. I think I am going to do lunch and a movie with Brittany, other than that probably laundry!
Madison on the other hand has quite the weekend ahead. We just dressed her up, jewels and all this morning. She is going with her class this afternoon to see Seussical and tomorrow she goes with her Brownie troop for an overnight at the science museum. She is so excited she is bouncing off the walls this morning.

Apparently, they need to run some special line so that I can record two programs at once. With my other Tivo, I can only record one at a time.

My husband makes fun of me because I really like to paint walls! I've even gone over done my friends walls for her. If you all lived closer I could oblige some of those requests!

lyzziesmom......just now got to look at your photopass pictures. Great pictures! I especially like the one where Emma was kissing Stitch!!

That is one of my favorites too!

I brought my camera & card reader to work today, so I might be able to post a few pictures in a while. It is a short day at work for me today because Lyzzie's musical is this afternoon, so I'm leaving at 1:30 to go see it. My mom decided not to bring Emma because she's still not feeling well. Slightly better, but still not herself yet.

Lesa: I agree with everyone else. You absolutely did the right thing. You told DD the rules, and she broke them so she has to face the consequences. I've seen too many parents who make rules and then don't enforce them, and then the kids end up thinking that rules are meaningless. How old is Brittany again? I can't remember exactly, but I know she is too young to understand why personal information can be dangerous. You can always use the line I heard a million times as a kid: "If all your friends jumped off a building, would you do it too?" Don't let the fact that other parents are more permissive make you second-guess yourself - you need to do what is right for YOUR child.

I'm impressed that so many of you are unpacked already! I managed to unpack my souvenirs, but that's about it. This weekend obviously will consist of a lot of laundry and straightening up around the house, and a lot of resting. I am still pooped!

Good Morning all!!

Donna, thanks for breakfast...was that picture taken at our breakfast? It's funny but I think that was my favorite meal the whole trip, food wise. I had the reg. French Toast and ate every bit of it!!

Like you guys I can't believe that one week ago I was just landing at the Orlando airport, nervous about meeting everyone but so excited!! When can we go back??

Before we go again we all have to practice our dancing... and YM can't be the only one dancing this time

No big plans for this weekend...Blake will probably do our taxes, which is my clue to get out of the house!! Matt might go skiing tonight. A friend of ours runs the ski program with the Troy Parks and Rec Dept ( Troy is the next city over) and has said that Matt and Nick can come any time they want.

I need to finish unpacking...I got most of it done but there are a few things still in the cases. I can't just leave them there... Blake is headed to Memphis for most of next week and doesn't want my stuff in the suitcases. He's so picky!!

I'll check in later...I think I am going to make myself some French Toast now, but I know it won't be as good I will be missing all the great company!

Absolutely....I was right, my French toast was no where near as good as Kona's. I started making it and it looked so unlike what I was remembering that I turned off the flame and looked up the recipe!

I need to turn the house upside down today...I can't find my driver's license. I remember putting it in my back pocket at the airport, and I think I took it out when I got home. I probably put it somewhere safe so I wouldn't forget it the next morning and...I don't know where it is!

I put the memory card back in my camera, and it says I need to format the card or insert another card - I can't get any of the pictures off the card!! I'm sitting here at work crying because I'm so upset. I had over 500 pictures from the trip and I just don't know what to do. I don't think I can fix this.

I would have no idea how to fix that- I can't even load film in my own camera.

I know how you feel, when I lost my trip pictures from June 2005 I was devastated. I hope you can somehow get them back.

Good morning, everyone!! Thank goodness it's Friday!!! I'm so ready for the weekend. I still haven't quite caught up with my laundry. Was it only a week ago today that I was anticipating meeting some of our Cliqueless Crew for the first time?

Tell her that you will not be talking about this again, period. Everytime she tries to bring it up just repeat, "I said I wasn't going to discuss this again."

Bella is a brat who needs to learn how to treat people, maybe this will open her eyes. But probably not! Not with a mom like that She has hurt Britty plenty but of course mom doesn't believe that!
