Linda: I almost didn't recognize you with your new avatar & no pictures in your signature! Your coworker really knows how to get your goat, doesn't he? You should do something funny to his office while he's gone.. I heard of one practical joke where they replaced someone's chair with a toilet!

I changed it again. something different He and I started here on the same day and he had a huge crush on me NOT good! Oh well, I think he's finally figured out it isn't happening. Not now, not ever He's a nice guy...just not my type. I told the guys we should do the toilet, they thought that was hilarious...but they'd never actually do it. Darn it!

PJ day...that sounds great. Kenny hates that though. He thinks as soon as breakfast is over..it is time to get dressed!

I figured they were almost a year old, time for something new. I'll probably put new ones after our "convention"

It's still cold, and snowing here in Ohio, but I think think todays offering will warm me up!

Yeah, we got maybe 1/2 " and they delayed all the schools come on, this is Ohio...we're used to getting snow!!! Well, our 1/2 of the state anyway

Linda - speaking of cruises - I was looking at the schedule for the Disney cruises next summer - we're not going to do the west coast cruise for Erin's grad - we'll just do another 4 nighter, but when we're going to go they are scheduled to 'double dip' Castaway Cay!! Monday and Wednesday - YAY!!!

I spoke to someone at the district who had no info other than we ARE going to have to make up the time. They don't know yet if it will be tacked on to the end of the year or during spring break.

Awwwww, you guys are all so sweet. Like one of you said the other day, you all are the nicest people I've never met. I can't believe we've hit 10,000 posts in such a short time! We always say we are a chatty bunch, I think that proves it.

Lunch was nice, I am still stuffed! I had my usual, angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce. Mmmmmm. It was so nice to see Emma in the middle of the day! My mom hasn't been out to eat w/Emma in a while, and took it upon herself to decide that Emma doesn't need a high chair. Wrong decision! It's not easy to eat with 30 pounds of toddler standing on your leg and draped around the back of your neck & shoulders, all while trying to avoid the red sauce on her hands & face!

Cute Emma story for you: The other night at bedtime, Emma looked at me and said, "Mommy, you smell!" I wasn't sure I heard her right, so I said, "What? Did you say I smell?" and she said "Yes, like this!" and she wrinkled up her little nose and sniffed loudly. "You smell with your nose like this!" She had me going for a minute there! I just can't wait for those of you who are going to our little convention to meet her!!

Linda: That's a good idea about updating your pictures when we get back. I'm sure a few of us will have the same idea!

Attention ConventionEars: I did a little sniffing around and here's what I found out about PhotoPass: We can all chip in and buy one PhotoPass CD and one of us can make copies of the CD to send to the rest, no problem. We can combine our PhotoPass cards and put them all on one CD, BUT the cards all have to be registered to the same person. So if someone takes their PhotoPass card home and registers it online in order to see the pics, those pics can't be included on the CD. So here are my thoughts: we could either a) give all the PhotoPass cards and each give their share of the cost to a designated person (I will volunteer) at the end of our trip, who will then register all the cards and order a single CD and make copies and mail them out to the rest of us, or b) give all the PhotoPass cards and share of the cost to the designated person who will bring the cards to the photo place at one of the parks before leaving to have a CD made. I have read here on the DIS that you can once again get embellishments & borders added to the CD photos but they are now charging slightly more for the CD and I'm unclear on whether they can do that at the parks or only if you order from home. Either way, I will volunteer to collect all PhotoPass cards and money at the end of the trip if this is something we decide we are interested in doing. I think it would be a great souvenir, and splitting the cost would make it very affordable. The pics can then be printed at home or through WalMart Photo or wherever, and copied, edited, and emailed. I already have a whole bunch of blank CDs that I could use for the copying, so making the copies wouldn't cost me anything extra. Anyone else like this idea?

YM: I think the PhotoPass CD's are still around $99. I believe with the enhancements they are closer to $120-125. I figure if 10 of us buy into it, that's only about $10-12 each. Pretty cheap!!

You know, it's funny - but when I was making our room ressies for our upcoming June trip, I looked at the school calendar, and thought - well our 'tentative last day' is May 25th. As much as I wanted to, I didn't DARE book our trip for May 26th (Sat) thru June 2 (Sat) because it would be just my luck we'd get a bunch of snow this year, and the kids wouldn't get out on the 25th as scheduled. I don't know about your district, but we build 3 days in to our calendar. We're already on day 6! Typically, they do add them to the end of the school year. BUT - there's grumblings.... and the school district may use spring break if we get too many more days - people have plans for after the school year is over too! Like us: as it stands right now - we can have two more snow days safely before I have to reschedule our June trip, IF they add the days on to the end of the school year. And it's only January 19th! I agree - attendance would be low, but like our HSs if you miss 'X' number of days of school - auto fail! It'll be interesting to see what happens.

DznyFan...We had three days built in. We have used 8! We have a whole week to use up...there are a couple of days we could skip (President's Day...and the Friday we are off too)....then spring break and end of school. We have a week to make up so far and add a day or two for Monday and Tuesday(maybe). (I just keep using this little guy).

I'm just posting a random post so that I can get in to our thread. Is it just me or are you all having problems too? I've subscribed to our thread and usually when I go to my User CP I see our thread and then I would click the word last which would take me to our recent posts. This way I could mover back or forward from there but now. . .

I'm ready to scream this is so frustrating.


ETA:: OK, scratch this post. Somehow, I switched my Display thread mode and it was showing it all weird and I couldn't find you guys. I was really scared there for a minute.

ETA some more:: While I was in that wacky mode, I was able to see how many times each of us has posted to this thread. Of course in my computer illiteracy I can't get back to it, but I do see that Miss Donna has had the MOST posts on our thread with 1,000++. While me, I'm somewhere around 200 something. These two are the only ones I really remember seeing.
