Hi everyone!!!

Sorry to sound harsh but was I being a spoiled brat?? Was I not clear?? Be honest, I can take it---seriously, I'd like to know if I was at fault.

2xcited, You did not sound harsh AT ALL! You did the right thing with sending it back. I do that alot too ( Not thinking about what happens to my food...) I HATE pickles, I'm talking with a passion. They usually come as a garnish (no idea why?) with sandwiches around here, no mention of it on the menu, just next to the fries or something. Well I always make them re-do my food because the pickle juice gets everywhere and all over my fries!

You guys can go to Jellyrolls if you want! I promise I will be fine. We'll have to make do another meet around my (and Lyzziesmom's, and Donna's is right before ours too) birthday and go there! Your menu for your mom's birthday dinner sounds great! I know what you mean about your mom's birthday cake, sometimes you can get disappointed if you dont get a "birthday cake". You are so considerate to ask her!!

Donna, OH, I love quiche!! Thanks for breakfast!! I know, 8 days!! I am really excited. Hopefully they will go by fast!! I'm sure they will, then the trip will be over and I'll be boo-hooying all over the place! But I have February to look forward to!

Jill, you had to mention Bon Jovi didn't you??!! Now that song is in my head too!!! Oh, about the coffee. I dont' really drink hot coffee but I like cold coffee drinks. Dunkin' Donuts has this thing called a Dunkacheno (I think thats how its spelled???) and it is coffee and hot chocolate mixed, sooo good! You should try it.

Amber, I am bouncing off the walls! I am so excited, but kind of sad about leaving Ruby.

Linda, Survivor tonight! yay!! Does Mike watch it too? I got Jeremiah watching all my shows with me! He even watches American Idol!

Epcot Segway Tours suspended

Disney has temporarily stopped the Epcot Segway tours while the manufacturer repairs a software glitch.

The U.S. Product Safety Commission recommended that the use of all Segways stop immediately. The voluntary recall by Segway Inc. is in response to reports of the vehicles suddenly shifting into reverse.

There have been six incidents reported nationwide which resulted in a range of injuries. Broken teeth, broken wrist and a facial injury requiring surgery are among the complaints.

There's no indication of when the Epcot tours will resume operation.

Lyzziesmom, Were you able to do the Segway Tour? How was it?

Just wondering.

Yeah, he was a little nervous. I sat between his 3rd grade teacher and his 4th grade teacher. They were both proud of him for running as well.

I am pretty sure I have seen it around here as well. I love Vanilla Coke. But I haven't bought it in awhile. I have been on a Black Cherry Vanilla Coke craze lately.

Anybody hear about this?

I read about the Segway recall earlier today. Interesting to hear if lyzziesmom did get to go on the tour.

Hola chicas & chico! I've been super busy, but sneaking in to catch up on my reading now & then. Yes, I did get to do the Segway tour, that's awful that it's cancelled but hopefully they will be up and running again soon. It was SOOOO fun! I'll have the pictures up soon.

I see we've been debating Jellyrolls - I went there last year with some old friends who were in town, the plan was to have some fun and catch up on old times. Let me tell you, that place is LOUD! It is dueling pianos, and there is a lot of yelling and loud singing. It was fun, but conversation was impossible. And we were seated at the bar, almost as far away from the stage as you can get, and this was during the slow period. They are not kidding when they say it can be standing room only. Maybe one of the resort lounges would be a better place to congregate? I'm not really familiar with them, but it's just an idea. There's still plenty of time!

The Illuminations cruise sounds neat, but aren't they super pricey? I guess if there are a bunch of us, it wouldn't be so bad. I do love trying new things every time I go to WDW!

Hi, Lyzziesmom - how is the moving going?

Maybe one of the resort lounges would be a better place to congregate?

I'm not even going, but when I saw this - I know the perfect place for you guys! There's a little lounge in the Beach Club, to the Yacht Club side of Cape May Cafe - I think it might be called Martha's Vineyard. Anyway, it is very quiet, has comfy seating, a bar (w/ bartender, of course), you can go in even if you're not 21 - it's everything you need! We've gone there several times before or after Cape May to relax and just sit, converse, and have a drink or two.

I have to stop at Wal Mart on the way home for dog food and milk. I'll check the soft drink isle to see if they still carry vanilla coke.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for Colton's election campaign....

Not sure what to think at this time. He hasn't called me. But then, he never calls. Today was the VERY rare exception when he has asked the school's office to call me. He is now back at the Boys and Girls club where he and Chase go before and after school. They are allowed to use the phone there as well, but again, he never calls. Even when he has great news to tell me, he will wait until I pick him up.

But I am dying to know!!

Looks like this was a good day for both our boys...

Matt can play



He was sooo excited. He has to wear the brace for all sports for the remainder of the school year.

We left the doctors and drove straight to the game. It was the beginning of the 2nd quarter and we were winning 30-0 It's starting to get embarassing. We ended up winning 58-6. The coach is telling the kids to throw a lot of cross field passes and not run it up the middle but the kids get excited about scoring. The other coach wouldn't even shake our coaches hand after the game. He accused him of running up the score. Come on, we let them use 4 varsity players because they had a lot of injuries. When I left our coach was mad, we play them again in 2 weeks and right now he is saying he isn't holding back that game at all. He'll show them what running up the score looks like. I know him, he won't do it once he calms down. The boys weren't even allowed to cheer after the game until the bus left the parking lot cause he didn't want to make them feel bad. He really is a nice guy.

I went right from the game to the HS for open house. I got to meet all of Matt's teachers. They all think he is nice but a little talkative ( I wonder where he gets that from )

So I left the house at 7:10am and got home at 8:30pm. Plus I think I am getting a cold. I'm exhausted This is me on my pillow.

Dznyfan...that's so awesome... this guy was from Wisconsin...very young and sweet! I'm trying to remember his name...we saw him a few times onboard. He would take the characters to their stations. We met him w/in 5 minutes of walking onboard...my mom is a smoker ... she wanted to know where she could go to smoke so she went looking for someone to ask...he was bringing Pluto out to see everyone and we all started talking...Kenny got Pluto all to himself for like 15 minutes ... so cute! I've got pix of him at work... he was onboard for a few years...he said he couldn't wait to get off and actually drive a car again I bet that would be weird! I drive about 1k miles a WEEK...after going on the cruise for 7 nights it is weird to me to drive again for a few minutes....and you're still walking w/the sway ...

Ashley...did you like Survivor? OH..this will get interesting! they let the chickens get away... not good!!!

have a great evening...gotta go to work early ...I'm NOT a morning person!! getting up at 5:30am is early enough in my book! Grrr
