Pozey - It is great! I really like him saying how he is going to be the voice of the students. Maybe he can add a few ideas that he had for when he becomes the president and then ask the students how they would feel. Something like "As president of student counsel I would like to cancel all homework and shorten the school week to 4 days. These are some of the ideas that I have for the school and look forward to talking about these ideas and other ideas that you may have through out the school year." (except he'd use a practical idea)

Linda - he goes to the gym really late at night when it is like ghost town in there, he hates when it is crowded. Plus he usually just wears it to make me happy, hey it works.

Donna...Thank you for the Cinderella and her Prince. My prince sent roses to work today and brought us lunch. We ate in the teachers lounge. Is that romantic or what?

Linda...I'm glad Mike agreed to more Disney days. Blake started off saying we would go every 5 years, yeah right. Now we seem to go every other year. We are DVC members and stay in a 2 br, my parents always come with us, we also stay for 2 weeks. The last 3 or 4 trips we have combined it with a few days at Vero to unwind, the vacation from the vacation ;) Going this summer was a special treat. This was supposed to be the year off.

Ashley...I'm sorry to hear you are fighting. And you are right to keep the details private. Take it from this old married woman...the making up is nice

Pozey...that's great that your son wants to run for student council. Is this the same one who had the mole removed? How is that doing by the way? I'm sure you can give him lots of ideas esp about how to win over the ladies ;)

Michele - Happy Anniversary! party: yeah - you guys are quite the party animals. By the way - whats an MS open house?
So the coach almost bought the note, did he? Thats funny.

I'll keep everybody posted on the CP. If we do it, yeah, we can meet up (again for some of you) but I probably won't know anything for some time. And thanks for breakfast!

It is the Middle School open house. I get to follow Nick's class schedule and get his pictures. It is silly, I mean I work there for heaven's sake, but I feel like a bad mom if I don't go :guilty:

pixiedust: for the CP. We would all have to sacrifice and come down to cheer Erin on. ;)

Pozey 900!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

Lesa...I didn't know you were getting a new roof. No more house projects!! That money must be saved for WDW in February!!! :rolleyes1

Pozey I love his speech. Short and sweet. It covers all the right things and doesn't promise what he can't deliver. I love the ones who promise a longer lunch or shorter classes. :confused3

Jill, they can be so sweet can't they :cloud9:

Michele, roses AND lunch  how sweet!!! That is awesome!! sounds like a great plan every other year for 2 weeks!! that would be nice! every 5 years :lmao: yeah right :teeth: I couldn't do that. Now I'll have to work on him about a cruise!! Happy Anniversary!!

Kenny was killing me as usual... he said he had a headache...so I kissed his forehead. I told him it was a magical kiss and it would make it better. He said kisses aren't magic... oh yes they are and when you're bigger they'll make you see fireworks;)... he said well today I saw hearts when I saw Courtney..she's so pretty  :rotfl: .... Oh man...he's gonna kill me!!!

I am sure he will be in absolute heaven with all of us ladies swooning over him

:smooth: (Kenny) (cliqueless)

oh, that boy will be in heaven!!... He's such a little ham

Mike is watching dateline... the internet predators.... :sad2: I love when they bust those guys though :thumbsup2 Tomorrow is Survivor...that will be interesting!!!

2x... I bought Kenny some books and had to think of you... POC pirate: ..now Kenny wants me to dress him up like a pirate and build him a "black pearl" :teeth: omg!!!

I am watching TLC one of their medical show I cant remember the name, anyhoo A guy came home from surgery and really wasnt feeling well so after a couple days he wen back to the hospital and described the symptoms. They didnt sound normal to the dr so he ordered an xray and found that they had sewed him back up leaving in him a 6 inch metal tool. I cant remember what they said the name was but they almost looked like scissors. Statistics show that items get left behind often, the most often item left behind are swabs.

Yep! New roof, new gutters and new siding. Thanks to the lovely "hail chasers" It will only cost us $500 and the insurance paid for the rest. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 The next project up is the upstairs bathroom floor. David is thankfully not tackeling this one (we still don't have the pergo finished after 3 months  ) because the sub floor will more than likely need to be replaced.

Oh and don't worry about Disney, I have a trunk load of American Girl stuff I'm thinking about pawning if it's not picked up soon! :rolleyes1

Pozy.....That is a great speach! DD was going to go out for student councel until she found out she had to do a speach.

Did you go fishing?

It has been so gloomy here all day, I don't even think the sun has peeked out at all today.

Pozey - I think the speech is fabulous! He did a great job. I sure don't know what you could add to it, except what Jill suggested about ideas of what he would "do", and how the other kids felt about it!

Man, a friend of mine (he's an older (22) friend of my DD's - they met in theatre and has become friends with all of us - we took him on his first trip to WDW this past December) IM'd me today asking questions about Disney cruises! he wants to go on one, and go with a friend, but doesn't know who - somebody who could pay their way - asked me if I wanted to go along!!! Not that it surprised me, we get along well, (and suspect he's gay) but I just wish I could! I told him I'd help him plan his and live vicariously through him. Even though I would in a heartbeat, I just don't think the DH would be too keen on it - (imagine that! :lmao: )

Michele - glad you had a great anniversary day - and DUH me for the MS open house. I saw on the license plate thread that you have a plate that says OKW WDW? Have you ever seen the plate above the doorway in the Gurgling Suitcase that says MICKMSE?? At one time, it used to be on my car. I really want a new vanity plate, but haven't decided what yet - will definitely be Disney related again. I'm thinking DSNYMOM.

Ashley pixiedust: for you - hope you guys work everything out.

I'm going to sign off for now - I have Ms Plum #5 waiting for me, and I've gotta shop trailers - looks like we're getting our place! :woohoo: What stinks is that once we get this lake place, the already bad odds of me getting to do a solo WDW trip will go drastically lower. He already wanted to send me to our friends' lake house for my de-stressing weekend the first time I ran off to Orando. We get a place of our own? It's all over for me. :rotfl2:

Did you go fishing?

haha nope!

A coworker of mine was talking about a new humungo salt water tank she got and I felt like looking at a fish, the things we do to avoid working :teeth:

I tried coffee for the very first time! I was so exhausted so we (my starbucks addicted co-worker and I) went there. I had asked them if I could try a coffee before buying it bc I have never had one and have always hated just smelling coffee. Well I tried it and I hated it :crazy2: (I think that is exactly what my face looked like too). For some reason I decided that maybe I would like espresso instead of reg coffee (my logic was that I am not a beer drinker I like the hard stuff so maybe the same rules apply) well I had a sip and I didnt hate it like I hated coffee. I put a couple (and by a couple I mean 5) splenda in it :stir: to sweeten it up.. and I LOVED it :drinking1 ! It did the trick too I didnt yawn the rest of the day at work. :yay: As I was driving to school I started to feel it wearing off so I stopped and had another. I made sure not to get one today ( I am hoping to go to bed early) but I think I will have them only on school nights thats way I don't go too broke at starbucks! Nick bought me a gift card to starbucks to welcome me to the club.

I'm here! Just got the kiddies off to bed. My dd came home from gymnastics tonight with a cold. I hate the start of school, they are always catching something. :guilty:

Ahhh, I love starbucks. I actually have to stay away from our target because they have one in there. It has become a very bad habit of getting my white chocolate mocha (now it is the pumpkin spice) and shopping the store. It was getting so bad that the girls that work there ask me if I want the usual. :teeth:

I must have scared everyone away! :confused3 I'm the only one with a green light on. :3dglasses

Hi Lesa :wave2: I knew JD and I would find someone I just didnt expect to get lost with him ;)

Nick (DH) and I went down to the hot tub, although it is so hot here that we could not stand to go all the way in. We lasted for a few minutes and then went in the pool.

kids share everything (including their nasty colds and viruses) I use to teach pre-k so I know this all to well. I was such a stickler for frequent hand washing and it really helped. My kids really wouldnt share germs they just came in with their own and brought them back home (where they would share them with parents and siblings)

Ahhhhh....a hot tub! Now that is exactly what I need right now. It is only in the 50's right now and I need to warm up a bit. A pool wouldn't be bad either provided it was heated! :thumbsup2

My kids have always been ones to catch everything. I was such a germaphobic when they were younger because they were always sick. The doctor said I was cleaning too much and didn't let me build up immunity against germs. Well I don't disinfect nearly as much and they still get just as many colds. I gave them both hand sanitizers to use in school. I asked them if they use them and both informed me no because they are in their lockers.

I can't believe how slow it is tonight. Where is everyone? :confused3 I should be like a tree and leave! Morning comes awful early these days.

Good evening everyone!!!! I have been trying to post for the last 1/2 hour, but keep getting interrupted!!
It's beddy bye time for DS. Why do kids want to argue about going to bed? They should just go... :confused3

Luvdzne::Oooh, the pumpkin spice Starbuck's sounds super!!! I might have to go in search of something similar tomorrow, especially if the weather stays cool.

Precious Pixie::What WAS your famous first for today? Was it drinking coffee?
I didn't drink coffe until I was about 26 or so. Now I can't start my day without it!! :surfweb:

Have a Test track of a Tuesday!!!
pozey!!!! I was really kidding about Test Track Tuesday. You didn't have to go out and experience it!!! Glad you had no serious damage to your vehicle!!
Your DS sounds like he has a campaign plan for sure!! :thumbsup2

Linda::After talking about your DH going to the food court for coffee,it reminded me of a thread from a couple of years ago called MugMen of the World Unite!! Anybody remember that one??? I'll have to dig it up.

I think I'm about ready to turn in for the night. Have had a sinus headache and need more rest!!!

The pumking spice is sooo yummy! I was so excited that they brought it back.

I hear you on the sinus headache! I have had one since this lovely weather we're having arrived. I'm going to take some sinus medicine and go to bed.

It's too early, Lesa!!! There are us early morning posters, the afternoon posters, a few early evening posters, and then there is the hooty owl session!!! I can't always join in the hooty owl session!!! :rotfl2:
Are you going to be able to go to WDW in Feb? I am so excited! I haven't taken a girls only trip since 1994!!! :woohoo:
