just honest I've been known to spend way too much there I've been doing much better the past few years...but this month I spent around $700 on disneyshopping.com!!! But I got a LOT of really nice stuff for the house He probably would if Kenny were older...but I couldn't ask him to watch MY child so I could play at WDW of all places and leave a 5 year old at home esp. a few weeks before his birthday!!

..........he's not on the computer much at all except to play sudoku and read the paper...and shop on disneyshopping.com .... but he was actually calling it wdw....the letters like we do I'm so proud of him!!! He's catching on !!!

Linda...my DH plays sudoku on the computer...that's 2 things they have in common (military background too) Wow, Kenny sounds like a great car traveler. My boys are like that too. I'm always dying to stop but I'm too proud to ask before the kids. We went almost 5 hours once without a stop. Ok...I'm starting to feel a little guitly here I didn't want to be gone over my DS's birthday (of course) but I'll only miss it by six days. I'm going to need to find a conference that is going on during the same time as our trip and lie.

that's awesome! I like sudoku...have the electronic handheld one and everything...but just don't have enough time most of the time to do it. We'll all have to get together sometime!! I use to travel all over the country w/the phone company so I'm really use to driving long distances... I'd be working in NJ or PA...or NY... and drive home every weekend!! Talk about a lot of driving!! Plus when I was pregnant w/him I was only having to travel the state but was driving about 6 hours a day...so he must have gotten use to it then We usually leave late at night so he can sleep a good part of the trip you didn't know you had a conference to go to then...sorry I forgot to send you the memo...I can email it to you if you'd like !! whatever works!! ... that IS a thumb!!

Mike just emailed me asking if we wanted to stay at SOG...and I reminded him we can't get the ddp at sog...does he want sog or ddp....

OH...now he emailed me again...his one request... that we eat at Le Cellier while we're there Did I ever tell you guys how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband???

Yes, the Poly would be lovely but we may be pressing our luck. Who knows, though.

I get to work about 7:20. Starting next week we are offering breakfast before school and another woman and I are going to trade off weeks coming in early to monitor the kids. So I will have to be there at 7. I am very lucky tho. I only live about 4 blocks from the school so I can leave my house at 6:55 and be there on time.

I know isn't it weird to talk about carpooling to something like rehab It tells you how physical football is.

Yesterday was Matt's first day of high school, then he had football practice, which he has to go to but does nothing but stand around for 3 hours. Then the team sells these "Trojan cards" that offer discounts to neighborhood places like Dunkin' Donuts, the bowling alley etc. They had to go out walking as a team and try and sell these last night. He didn't get home until 8pm When I asked how school was he tells me that he wants one of his classes changed. He says he can't learn in there. When I questioned him about it - it was his math class. Matt really struggles with math so we placed him in a Pre-Algebra class. Well it turns out it is full of all of the behavior problems, many of whom are 10th and 11th graders and I remember too well from the Middle School. They have a brand new female teacher that these kids spent the hour yelling at, telling to F-off, they were throwing things around and ignoring her. Yep, I'm pulling my hair out now So I had to go over to the HS today and get his classes changed. This was one of those times when it really helps to work for the district. [the HS and MS are connected in a horseshoe shape with the pool in between] So he is no longer in Spanish and now has health and gym but he is in an Algebra class that I hope will be good for him. I also got the name of a retired teacher who can tutor him if we need it.

No offense I went to Michigan State!! I will root for Michigan when they play anyone except MSU or Notre Dame. Those are my teams. I can't root for OSU tho, there is one teacher at my school that graduated from there and she is the worst. I can't stand her.



When I told Blake about our meet he looked at me like I was nuts!! He can't imagine why I would want to go somewhere with people I don't know. Then he really looked at me when I proceeded to tell him all about Linda and Kenny; and Pozey and his kids, etc. I told him I know more about you guys than most of the people I work with. He just doesn't get it.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong here. The dates for the meet are about fri. Feb. 2nd-Mon.Feb 5th or Tues. Feb. 6th. I own a business with my mother & sister, and I can probably swing a weekend and a day or two on each end. That would be about it for me. Probably some of the others can stay for longer, but I'm pretty sure I would fly in on Friday and fly out Mon. evening or Tues. Morning!!!

That's ok...there are several here that we don't know their names...but mine is pretty obvious Hi Jill.... I'm Linda and I'm sure you've met Kenny already Courtneys future husband Congrats you've made it through the toughest year of marriage...the 1st year!! Kenny's dad and I got married at the WL in 97 but I divorced him...left in 03'... he became abusive and I wasn't going to raise Kenny like that! Anyway.... to tell you the truth I don't know the exact dates everyone is going either...I am pretty sure 2x2s was saying the first weekend of Feb. ? Correct me if I'm wrong...a long weekend or something... Of coarse I'll try to talk Mike into a little longer since we're driving 16 hrs. to get there...I wanna enjoy it!!

Guess we were posting at the same time Feb 2-6th or so wouldn't be bad... too bad the RnR won't open til the 10th... oh well..we'll have a blast anyway! I think I'm going to try to surprise Kenny w/this trip...but it will be so hard! He is so adorable!! You'll see ... I kind of cheated...I just started laughing or giggling out loud sitting here reading the black and lacy comment and he had to come see what I was laughing about... then I told him all about it I really didn't think he'd go for it...but then again he really does try to make me happy!!Oh yes... you need to attend the conference as well Donna!!!
