pozey... love the pix!! vette or dvc :confused3 DVC!!!!! we get the gm discount and mike wants a solstice to play around in... but we'll see. I still love my car and don't want to give it up!Courtney is so adorable :cloud9: Daddys girl :cool1: !!Hey wait... you better save the 20k for Courtneys wedding :rotfl2: j/k!!;)
I thought she and Kenny would just elope and we could all go to WDW for the reception!! :thumbsup2

Amber - so sorry to hear about Mike's work dilemma, and your possible trip cancellation. I hope for you guys that everything works out!

Pozey - hmmmmm. Corvette or DVC.... man! tough call. Well, you can fit more than two in a DVC room. You don't have to worry about how many miles you put on a DVC room. It WILL pay for itself. It will appreciate in value.

pozey, I think that you should get DVC. Tell your wife how much money you will save on vacations and that extra money could go towards savings for the car. You could go the resale route and get a pretty good deal on points.

I may not be going to WDW. :guilty: Mike is thinking of quitting his job. If he does that will probably mean a pay cut and he may not be able to get time off so soon after starting (at least not paid vacation).

Oh, and my banana still won't dance. Could this day get any worse. :)

Amber.... :grouphug: Sounds like a rough day...and to top it off...no dancing banana..... :grouphug: Hope everything works out with Mike's job...Pozey had some good advice. Could everyone imagine what it would be like out there if everyone was treated "fairly" at their job....grrrhhh. Hang in there.

Pozey...great pictures. I vote DVC all the way...although I would like to say that I had a corvette picture in my dorm room...so I'm understanding the corvette need (altough mine is looonnngg gone). I was thinking Courtney might some of her moms free spirit? Good luck on that decision!

Ashley...we can still buy tickets at SOG...it's not that big of a savings but if we stay there for sure we could buy them becuase the ticket sales are there. I'm staying with the optimistic package deal(tickets, free dining :teeth: and ME) with the moderate and hoping for the one of a kind deluxe upgrade (poly or YC  )??? If for some reason we end up at SOG no one will be disappointed and we would have lots of money left for food and fun! I think we could walk to the Kona every morning for breakfast. :cheer2:

MI mom...Is Matt in the middle or left side of the picture. Good luck...I hate those nagging ortho injuries....hope the therapy helps!

Dnzyfan...darn wish you could join us. Glad to hear you have another trip coming up. I think we are looking at oct or nov 07 for the family....to far away.

Matt is the one on the left. He is getting around fine. If he sits too still, like in a car, then it seems to lock up on him. Standing for too long, like at his games, seems to bother him too. He rides his bike, walks to friends houses with no problem.

Amber...sounds like you are drawing the short straw right now. I'm so sorry. :grouphug:

DznyFan...love the pictures. The one with the reflection is really great. :thumbsup2

Did anyone else see the WDW update on MousePlanet? Rock'nRoller Coaster will be closed the weekend we are looking at in Feb. :sad2: I love that ride!!

YM,

I'm being obtimistic too :) I think the moderate is best too. We'll see what happens!! :goodvibes

Linda...I'm in agreement with you on this one. :thumbsup2 I always ride it although I'm a little prone to motion sickness so I take something for motion sickness so I can ride the coasters and mountains. :teeth: I stay away from Mission Space, Body Wars, and Star Tours. The pictures from RNR are hillarious...I'm always a screaming fool (a happy one at that)...and yes the music just makes the ride. Good luck talking to DH...I might think about doing that myself. :tiptoe: :duck: :love2: :chat: :hyper2:

Isn't that cool? It's a HUGE sculpture (?) that is very reflective.

Good luck pixiedust: I've always avoided Mission Space, Body Wars and Star Tours too... Kenny loves Star Wars though...might have to take him to check it out next time...but RnR is the ultimate :cool1: I absolutely love it. Last time I rode it over and over and over :teeth: Mike and Kenny were camped out between RnR and ToT waiting for me :rolleyes1 there was NO line...plus I'm the only rider of the coasters so I can get 3 fastpasses w/our 3 cards :ssst: don't tell :teeth: !! OH...I wanna go so bad!!! Hmmmm...how am I going to pull this one off????? we go to wdw....and I'll buy him a gun??? that might work??? I want to but a REALLY nice camera to take pix sometime too...my camera is a few years old and only 4 megapix... not bad for most cases but I want a really nice one w/an awesome zoom etc....some I've taken on the cruise come out blurry...gotta find the perfect camera!! Good luck talking to your dh tonight!!

She was DYING to go to Tiffany & Co. (she's a huge Audrey Hepburn fan...)
She wanted something SO bad, but seeing as a keychain was $125.00 :scared1: :faint:
We are going to NYC in March with a friend and her daughter (our girls are good friends, too), and she'll be saving her $$ to buy something at Tiffany's there. She could have bought something this trip, but it would have taken ALL her money. Thank God she's smarter than that! She's got her eye on a bracelet for $170.00. Well, she's really got her eye on an engagement ring that is $18,000.00.... :lmao:

Isn't that cool? It's a HUGE sculpture (?) that is very reflective - I guess designed to see the skyline in... but, it's pretty cool! It has a name, although I guess they just call it 'the bean' there. I did a family picture (minus me) in the reflection of the bean, just for fun!

I was drooling over a Tiffany ring too...but it just didn't make sense to spend that much on a ring when I could trade my rings from my x towards these :teeth: !!! Sorry...try to be practical SOMETIMES! $125 for a keychain... no way!!! but I could spend a few hundred on a bracelet no problem!!! or a nice vase...or about anything Tiffany for the house!! At least that stuff would hold it's value or appreciate!! great pix!!

:lmao: ... I read this and started laughing out loud...OOPS! He had to come and investigate..he read your post and laughed..and said he aint falling for that sh-t. :rotfl2: .... so he's thinking about it...I said I'd trade all our weekend getaways all next year to go to wdw...financially it would probably be about fair...so we could still go to Hawaii...or where ever he chooses as usual.... insert praying smilie here :teeth: oh please oh please....I hope he agrees :cool1: we'd have so much fun!!! Kenny could help 2x2s on Test track and help ...is it Ashley that doesn't like characters??? Sorry...I can't think of who it is right now.... I'm so excited...it's driving me crazy!!!
Good luck YM.... hope you're doing ok w/asking your dh tonight;)

Good evening, Cliqueless Clickers.
Tricia:: Hi!! I don't have a tip for the day, but wanted to say hello!! Isn't planning a WDW trip soo much fun!
Going to work for the peace and quiet?? That's so funny, I've been there!

Amber::Sorry to hear about the problems with DH's work and the trip complicatons. I'm crossing my fingers that everything will work out for both of you! If it's any consulation, I don't think the banana ever dances for me either!

DznyFan::I love the pics of Chicago. I have suggested to DH that we visit on a weekend, but for some reason he doesn't want to go to Chicago.
Illinois is corny huh? That about sums us up. I doubt that you were very near to where I live. I suppose you took I-55 from St Louis. We are on the east of I-64, a little north of where I-64 and I-57 intersect. It was I that mentioned Giordanos Pizza, we ate at the one in Lake Buena Vista about a month ago!!! :thumbsup2

Pozey:: Glad you enjoyed your outing to the amusement park. My DS isn't too fond of the Screaming Eagle at 6-flags/St. Louis. I believe he thinks it's too old and unsafe. He may be right!!! :teeth:
Great pics of the kids. Your youngest DS is a bit of a show-off it seems, but looks like he was having a blast!!! The pictures of Courtney are sooo cute. I love her Dora scooter! I suppose your oldest son is anxious for his stitches to be removed....no more mole!!!
Oh yes, 'Vette or DVC?? DVC will give your family enjoyment for years to come, I vote DVC!!!

Linda:: I love the pics of you and Kenny at Donald's Breakfastaurus. We did this 2 years ago, Nathan really loved it. I have pictures from that day, too!!!
I am disappointed RNR will be closed, it's one of my favorite rides. It's closed until Feb. 10th!! Oh well, I'm sure we'll still have a blast!!! (I'm posting and reading your newest post at the same time!! ;) ) Tell Mike I said "Hi!" :teeth:

Well, my family is all under one roof again!!! :goodvibes

Hey everyone :sunny:

Donna, I'm so glad your whole family is together again! YAY!! Now give him a couple hours, and bring up the trip. :teeth:

Linda, yep, thats me. And I'm trying to get over my character phobia. :) Jeremiah said we are going to try to get one character photo during our upcoming trip..I want a "tamer" character though..I think I'll try Mickey.

2xcited, How are you? How was the doctor's appointment?

I'm going to go watch Big Brother and House, and I'll be on to chat later!

Hi, Ashley!!! And yes, please call me Donna. When I first registered on the Dis, I was in a hurry to ask a question about a certain topic. The user name I wanted DonnaDuck, was already taken. I picked the first thing that came to mind...my name!!! Duh. I've been thinking about 2xcited, too!!
Enjoy your programs, talk to you later!!!:chat:

Hey chatty ones----

What happened to the day after a holiday getting some work done?? It seems like you all spent the day here. :teeth:

First of all, my dr. DID NOT call today. What's up with that, you may or may not ask????? I don't know either. So, another day and no answers for me. :furious:

I have kind of a cute/naive little story that I heard today. I have a client that teaches sixth grade and I was asking her if she teaches all subjects. She was telling me about them and said that they have to teach "health" aka secks (because I'm not sure if this will bleep me out) education. She said last year she was teaching the girls and the students had the opportunity to anonymously write a question on a piece of paper. They were going over female anatomy and this one little girl writes, "What happens to the shells??"  She then had to explain that they are not like chicken's eggs. ;) Anyway, I hope this wasn't too, um, forward of me to share this story, but I just thought it was cute. So naive at that age.

I'm gonna go catch up with the chat now because for some reason my 'puter is giving me some grief tonight. I'll be back. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:
