Hey everyone,

I'm back from Wal-mart! I survived!!! It wasn't bad, maybe I should go there at 10pm everytime! I looked EVERYWHERE for the first Stephanie Plum book, they had several others but not the first one!! I'll have to look the next time I'm at Tar-jay. I did get the book "Running With Scissors" because I saw the preview for the movie, and it looked funny.

I am really easy when it comes to where we are gonna eat. I'll give you guys a full review of everything when I return from my trip. We're eating at Le Cellier, 'Ohana, Mama Melrose, Tony's Town Square, Concourse Steakhouse, Coral Reef, and Nine Dragons.

Ashley...those places sound good...can't wait for your reviews. Out of those restaurants I've only eaten at Mama Melrose and Concourse Steakhouse (for breakfast). I have so many that I want to try. The first couple of trip we took to WDW we avoided all the restaurants because they got such bad reviews in the unofficial guide...who knew how much fun the dining adds to a trip.

Well, I guess it sounds like fantasmic dinner package really isn't necessary...which I would agree with so maybe that's a no go. I could go either way.

Hey precious pixie too bad they don't have the villians character meal anymore...wouldn't that be fun. I got in a staring match with the Queen on a float one time...that was fun...she actually turned around and stared at me until the float disappeared. She must have felt the fierce competition...mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of us all?

Hey DznyFan...glad you had just a good trip and a safe trip.

Pozey...you mean your DS wouldn't ride the rickety old roller coaster...my youngest (6) is the same way. I'm not sure if I would...I always feel like I'm going to be slung out onto 21st street.

Donna will the DH be home tomorrow? I'm sure you are ready.

Ok...keep throwing out ideas for the cliqueless meet...so we can have a work in progress. Ok...one counter serive restaurant we didn't like was the Lotus blossom cafe in China....not that it is big on someone's list.

Boy, you can sure tell the long weekend is over and SOMEONE (hooty) is on vacation.


Ash---I ate at Kona for dinner and had the shrimp/scallop plate. It was good but I would love to try the Mahi-mahi dish. I have read rave reviews about the terryaki steak. Good choice. Between breakfast (several times according to Donna) and dinner at Kona, possible O'hana and of course the Tambu Lounge for a Lapu Lapu--maybe we should think about the Poly-----oops too pricey--maybe they will just let us crash on the beach--or should I say CAMP??


YM---it would be fun at Prime Time with all of us, or even WCC at WL with all of its antics. Not sure how the food is at either one though. I would love to do a dinner at O'hana----never been, or JIKO---but may be too gourmet for the picky eaters. We are eating at LeCellier in Oct. To me Rose and Crown is so-so. Love sitting by the water, though. Boma sounds interesting---this is a buffet, isn't it??


DznyFan---welcome back!! Good time in Chicago, it sounds like?? Where did you eat in St. Louis?? cute little suburb?? I'm interested. And, btw, to put it delicately---how are you feeling after your White Castle car binge?? Those things make me sick----although about every few months I just have a craving. They sure have the marketing down pat.
Wicked was wonderful?? I really want to do this but at the rate I'm going it will be back in St. Louis. (2008, I believe).
How was your drive?? Did you hit alot of construction along the way??

This is funny because when I was growing up we ALWAYS stayed at the Poly. We stayed at the CR a few times but mostly it was Poly. My mom had it rehearsed----Tonga Bldg., 3rd floor, beach view. It was like $59 per night. Oh, the good old days.

Evening ladies.....

Just returned from a fun afternoon at Bell's Amusement Park. Had a lot of fun.

Only 1 disappointment......I could not get my DS(7) to ride the roller coaster they have there.

I'm kinda hungry, but don't know what I want. (the JD pic didn't quite do it for me.... )

I didn't mean to ignore you. I can't believe your DS wouldn't ride. But, I have to side with him. I'm not much for the coasters either. I bet Courtney rode?? That little daredevil!!

Oh good, at least I know I don't have to fight with you over JD because these girlies just won't let it go. and admit he is mine.

This is so funny, I've wondered the same thing. We may have to pass the "talking stick", like they do in the new Yours Mine & Ours!!!! A word of warning though I am pretty reserved(and I look like Ruby when I'm tired)!

I did check out AAA discounts last night. Anyone a AAA member? I am, it can be a good idea to join AAA especially if you are a female on the road alot.JMO
Anyway..WL&AKL=182.75..Moderates=$116...Pop=$82. The cheapest thing I could find for Swan or Dolphin was 199.50(there are other disc. for teachers, govt' employees,etc) oh and YC=267.75 I didn't write down Poly,but I could check. Anyway just thought I would mention this.
