Good Morning all!!!

It's back to school for me today. It is nice having a day off in the middle of the week.
Hope the elections turned out the way you wanted yesterday, esp all local voting.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!! I'll check in later to see what amazing breakfast Donna has planned for us today!

Good morning crew!!! This morning we'll get off our sugar rush a little bit and have some good ole breakfast food!!! Come join me in a plate of french toast and sausage.

I hope everybody has a Wonderful Wednesday!! :sunny:

Sorry I'm running a little late. The internet was down and DH had to go downstairs to re-boot!! The fog is so thick this morning DH had to turn around and head back home, so he is working from home today.
Read all the posts after dinner last night, but didn't get a chance to answer. DH brought home his new TV for downstairs.(a 60" Toshiba HD.) Now If we can only get the sound to work when watching a DVD. He really hasn't had the time to work with it much. We HAD to watch Cars last night, you know!!!

Lin:: I'm so relieved to hear Chris' testing for MS was negative!! Having him go back for frequent testing is probably a smart thing to do.

Linda:: Thanks for making the ADR's! :thumbsup2 It's so sweet that Kenny's teacher appreciates his boyish charm!!! :goodvibes

YourMajesty:: I must comment on your new ticker!!! I just LOVE seeing everyone's trip counters appear! :yay:

2x2s:: I was really hoping you wouldn't mind doing the P&P Party!! I think maybe I'll just wear a t-shirt that says "I love Pirates" or "They love Pirates" or "You may call me Your Highness" or something like that. :teeth:
Did I mention the more your JD pic is posted the more I'm coming to appreciate it. :rolleyes1 :faint: pirate:

:welcome: Nyerathrt and LadyMar :welcome:

Had better run. Have a super day everyone!!!

Good Morning!

Donna, breakfast looks yummy! Mike would love your new TV. He wants to get a 52" after Christmas (he wants to get a 60", but our living room isn't that big).

Linda, congrats on a good report from the teacher. It's nice to have someone confirm what you already knew.

We watched Cars last night. Neither of us had seen it before and we really liked it. Mike thinks this is his favorite now.
My MIL called too. She doesn't know we are going to FL, so she is wanting to come here for a visit. Then she was asking us about coming down in April (Mike and I are planning on WDW, but she doesn't know yet. We were going to tell her later). She wants to do a cruise (I think on Carnival). I don't think I want to give up WDW, but the cruise sounds like fun (although it isn't Disney).

Hope everyone has a great day!

oh... the parent/teacher conf. she said she wished she had a room full of "Kenny's" ...he's so well behaved and does so well academically... couldn't ask for a better child :cloud9: I knew that but it is good to hear from someone else too ;) I told her about her trip for Feb. she said she'd do the same thing...so that's cool :)!!! She asked if she could join us ;)

dznyfan...what happened? Not sure..I think about that sometimes too :sad2: but thankfully we just use it as a learning experience. Kenny and I are very close and I love that. I don't ever want that to change. I don't want him to be a big "mommas boy" as they say...but I want him to grow up to be a good man! A good husband and father!! Besides pozey will appreciate it for his daughter ;) j/k pozey! :teeth:
Linda, I am so glad you are raising my future son-in-law so well!!

I would have to say that I have found some of the most wonderful friends here in our little cliqueless clique corner of the world!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Michele, your neighbor is nuts!! My folks are actually contemplating putting up their Xmas decorations this week, but we are having a run of nice weather - tomorrow is supposed to get up to 81!! My kids are wearing skirts today! Of course, they say it'll be nice and then we got outside this morning and it was 41 with fog so thick I couldn't see across the street. Very eerie. Emma was cute, all the way to my mom's house (about 15 minutes) she kept saying "foggy outside!" until Lyzzie yelled at her to be quiet. She clammed up, stuck out the bottom lip and said very quietly "Izzie mean". It was all I could do not to crack up laughing!
Your daughters are beyond adorable!! :thumbsup2

Good morning all.

Breakfast looks good, though I think I will just stick to the sausages, need to cut back on the sweets lol.

Welcome LadyMar and Nyerathrt!!!!!!

Good morning everyone. It is supposed to be an absolutely gorgeous day here! It's supposed to be somewhere around 83 - 85 degrees here today. I think they said the record high temperature for today is 85, so we may have record high temps today!!

Donna - thanks for the wonderful breakfast......as always!! :thumbsup2

DW and I bought ourselves a new Hi-Def big screen last year for Christmas. We bought a 55 inch Mitsubishi. LOVE IT!! I bought the Cars DVD yesterday too, but I don't think we will be able to watch it until this weekend.

Last night, Colton and Chase had a swim meet in Jenks. Chase won every event he was in. His team won the Freestyle relay, and he won Freestyle, Backstroke, and Breaststroke.

Colton won 1st in Freestyle, Backstroke, and Butterfly (he didn't swim Breaststroke). And he came in 3rd in the Individual Medley. But then, he was swimming against 13 & 14 year olds in that event. I told him and his coach that I thought he did outstanding considering he was throwing up all day the day before.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- Emma is so cute!

Pozey- :cool1: Congratulations Colton and Chase!

Last night I went to Target to buy Cars, and bought 'One for the Money' too! I can't wait to read it on the plane! I also bought some Christmas cards for the card exchange too.

Sounds like everyone's been busy shopping! I will probably get Cars for the kids for Xmas. It was the first movie we took Emma to see in the theater, and even though she didn't sit still or seem to pay attention she must have loved it, because every movie we've been to since then she asks, "see Cars movie?"

pozey, congrats to the boys on the swim meet, they did great!

Amber, I have never been on a Disney cruise but I was on a Carnival cruise when I was 18 and again when I was 29, I loved them! Lots of fun. Good luck making that decision!!

Welcome to all the new people!!

DBF never showed up or called last night, knowing that I had a gift for him. Now it's entirely possible that he simply forgot, but this is setting a trend that I am less than happy with. I'm very disappointed and I think I may have to just call it off. He's still a nice guy and I still like him, but I just don't see things working out this way. I know I know... patience, right?

Morning, all!

Donna, breakfast was fabulous! I LOVE french toast and sausage.

You know - I was thinking this very thing last night. We've been chatting up a storm here since July, and it's hard to believe it's been almost six months! CONGRATULATIONS to Colton and Chase - way to go!

Linda - from everything you've said, it sounds to me like you're doing an awesome job with Mr. Kenny - and that was certainly affirmated by the teacher.

Hope ya'll have a lovely Wednesday - it's going to be beautiful here! Check in later.

lyzziesmom...patience is one thing but rude behavior is ok not to tolerate. Leaving you hanging for a whole evening is not very thoughtful. I agree, he seems to have a pattern. He kind of laid down some "rules" so I think it might be time to let him know that you expect common courtesy. If he is uncomfortable he needs to let you know...not leave you hanging for the night...that will distract you from your little ones. Hang in there. :goodvibes

:grouphug: hmmmmm.... patience, yes, but that's not cool.

Excellent advice! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Have to agree with YM and DznyFan.....

It is certainly not cool to leave you hanging. At least he should have the common courtesy to call you and let you know he wouldn't make it.

It pains me (knowing how much you like him) to say that I don't think he is the right guy for you. He may be a very nice, kind, and wonderful guy. But this could be a deal breaker. I would hate for you to get your heart broken, but when 2 people are complete opposites in one area of a relationship - such as how they like to spend their time together - it is very difficult.

lyzziesmom......I have seen your pictures.....you are a beautiful woman. You have two beautiful daughters. You have a great sense of humor. You would have no problem attracting a man who would love to spend time together with you, Lyzzie, and Emma.

Again, I feel terribly for you knowing how much you like this guy. I hope things will get better for you with him.

We went to a send off performance for our HS marching band, The Pride, last night - they leave today to go to Indy (to the dome) for Grand Nationals. It was INCREDIBLE. We've got the best band in the state - they can rival our states' college marching bands, even! One of DD's best friends is one of the drum majors, and she has many, many friends in Pride. It was such a moving performance, and a nice something "different" to do of an evening.

Here's a couple links to check out The Pride.

YM - Owasso's got a GREAT band, too - they made finals last year at Grand Nationals.

Hope ya'll have a lovely Wednesday - it's going to be beautiful here! Check in later.
DznyFan.....The Pride is awsome! I hope they do well at Nationals. A friend of mine that I used to work with years ago, created the Pride's web page. He also is the primary photographer for the band as well.

Also, one of BA's cheerleaders works as a councilor at the before and after school care place that Colton and Chase go. Does your DD know any of the cheerleaders. She seems to be a very sweet girl.

lyzziesmom, I agree with everyone else. For me, I understand that things come up and you may not be able to keep made plans, but that is why you call. It is never ok to just leave a person hanging. He needs to be respectful enough of you to let you know what is going on. :grouphug:

Posey: congrats to Chase and Colton.

Cars is on my list for this weekend, did see it at the theater, one of my rare movie nights. Don't go to the theater too much anymore.

lyzzie: can't help you at all in this department :rotfl: (not laughing at you), just not been in this situation, so can't really give a good comment. :confused3. But definitely not cool. You have more patience then I have.
