Linda, I am so glad you are raising my future son-in-law so well!!lindakmonty said:oh... the parent/teacher conf. she said she wished she had a room full of "Kenny's" ...he's so well behaved and does so well academically... couldn't ask for a better childI knew that but it is good to hear from someone else too
I told her about her trip for Feb. she said she'd do the same thing...so that's cool
!!!
She asked if she could join us
dznyfan...what happened? Not sure..I think about that sometimes toobut thankfully we just use it as a learning experience. Kenny and I are very close and I love that. I don't ever want that to change. I don't want him to be a big "mommas boy" as they say...but I want him to grow up to be a good man! A good husband and father!! Besides pozey will appreciate it for his daughter
j/k pozey!

Your daughters are beyond adorable!!lyzziesmom said:Michele, your neighbor is nuts!! My folks are actually contemplating putting up their Xmas decorations this week, but we are having a run of nice weather - tomorrow is supposed to get up to 81!! My kids are wearing skirts today! Of course, they say it'll be nice and then we got outside this morning and it was 41 with fog so thick I couldn't see across the street. Very eerie. Emma was cute, all the way to my mom's house (about 15 minutes) she kept saying "foggy outside!" until Lyzzie yelled at her to be quiet. She clammed up, stuck out the bottom lip and said very quietly "Izzie mean". It was all I could do not to crack up laughing!
You know - I was thinking this very thing last night. We've been chatting up a storm here since July, and it's hard to believe it's been almost six months! CONGRATULATIONS to Colton and Chase - way to go!pozey said:I would have to say that I have found some of the most wonderful friends here in our little cliqueless clique corner of the world!!![]()

lyzziesmom said:DBF never showed up or called last night, knowing that I had a gift for him. Now it's entirely possible that he simply forgot, but this is setting a trend that I am less than happy with. I'm very disappointed and I think I may have to just call it off. He's still a nice guy and I still like him, but I just don't see things working out this way. I know I know... patience, right?

YourMajesty said:lyzziesmom...patience is one thing but rude behavior is ok not to tolerate. Leaving you hanging for a whole evening is not very thoughtful. I agree, he seems to have a pattern. He kind of laid down some "rules" so I think it might be time to let him know that you expect common courtesy. If he is uncomfortable he needs to let you know...not leave you hanging for the night...that will distract you from your little ones. Hang in there.![]()
DznyFan.....The Pride is awsome! I hope they do well at Nationals. A friend of mine that I used to work with years ago, created the Pride's web page. He also is the primary photographer for the band as well.DznyFan said:We went to a send off performance for our HS marching band, The Pride, last night - they leave today to go to Indy (to the dome) for Grand Nationals. It was INCREDIBLE. We've got the best band in the state - they can rival our states' college marching bands, even! One of DD's best friends is one of the drum majors, and she has many, many friends in Pride. It was such a moving performance, and a nice something "different" to do of an evening.
Here's a couple links to check out The Pride.
