Before DD was born three years ago handicap 2.3 - Went about two weeks ago and had a hard time staying under 90. Doesn't help I haven't played but about 3 times in three years. Oh well, plenty of time for golf when the kiddie is gone as she's only little once.

That's exactly right! I don't golf, but DH does-a lot! BK, he was almost scratch-handicap around 1. He wanted to be a professional golfer, but this was during the Vietnam War draft, he had a low draft # and didn't want to be drafted. Soooo, instead he did college, marriage, kids. Just like stuckatwork, he didn't golf much again til we became empty nesters. Now he golfs constantly-I don't, too busy being a "golf widow". Like it was BK, his handicap is about 1 or scratch.

I recently took up golf again after about 20 years of not playing. MOF, I played hooky from work yesterday to play golf. :ssst: Don't tell anyone!

Unfortunately, my golf score rarely breaks 100.

Well I say I golf but I am sure others have another name for what I do LOL. I only get out a few times a season and shoot mid to high 90's LOL see I told you it wasn't really golfing LOL.

I'm from a golfing family, but I have played seriously since I was on the team in high school. If my dad can't make it out to the club 4 times a week during the season then I always know something is up. My sil is so crazy about golf that she is out there almost everyday of the week in tournaments and she is also a high school golf coach. The last time I played 18 my score was in the 90s.

Well, my name gives it away but I LOVE to golf. We play pretty much every day in the summer, but being in Minnesota the snow cuts into the course time in the winter. I have an 8 handicap and shoot around that most of the time  . Dh and the kids like to golf and our course is very good about letting kids play. Our DD is ready for the varsity golf team, but she has to wait 2 more years until she is old enough. I was our club champion this year, so that was exciting for me (normally I take second but our best player wasn't there this year-she is a +2.5 handicap :earseek: --which is a TOTALLY different level of golf then I am on!). I took up golf about 15 years ago but didn't play much as the kids came along. We have been golfing seriously for about 6 years now.

I occasionally golf in real life, but I'm an avid golfer in my mind
