poll coming.... and if you type an answer, can you include your average score?

My wife has told people that she "golfs"..... Hmmn, she has gone out about 5x in the 9 years I have known her and her average is 175+. Not exactly a golfer IMO, but don't tell her that she doesn't golf! :teeth:

Me, I shoot about 110 - 115 but only play 3x a year, maybe 5 in a big year.

I'm a bit of a hacker...I'm usually in the mid 80's...Better on good days and low 90's on bad. Haven't broken 80 (missed a put on 18 about a month ago that would have given me my first 79), and haven't shot over 100 in a few years.

Hey, if you get enough people replying to this, we should set up a DIS tournament some time :teeth: The logistics would be a pain, but it'd be fun if we could find a way to manage it.

I can't give you an average score as becoming a sham resulted in x'ing the golf thing for a few years...
When I worked I golfed regularyly - on their dime too - it was great!
The highlight of my golfing career was when I out-drove my boss (I die hard avid golfer) in fron tof clients and they teased him about it! :rotfl:

Maybe YOU could! I'm not that organized. I'm even having a hard time keeping up with the DIS football league! ;)

I am just learning..so I am not mentioning any type of score, but I like to say the boys may hit farther, but I hit it straight on.

Silly boys power isn't everything.

(Corey's friend Jay and I play, I tell him that all the time when he slices and he sure does! :rolleyes1 )

(Corey is DH, but I like calling him Corey TMI sorry)

Golf as much as I can which is not enough I have a 12.2 Handicap index.

I haven't golfed since I was a teenager. But I fully intend to golf when the kids are older. Dh and I plan on trying out golf courses all over the country when he retires! :cool1:

I'm around a 22 handicap -- average somewhere in the mid-90's. I haven't played as often as I'd like in recent years, but once the boys get older, we'll get out together. :) I probably play 20-25 rounds a year, 8-10 of those on our annual Florida golf trip (where I got my only hole-in-one :teeth: )

I'm learning, too. I won't share my score because I am so new to it and currently very inconsistent lol, but I am good like how good I am with archery and shooting guns.

I have good aim and the ability to project, I guess. :teeth:

My DH golfs. I think his average is 90. I don't know if that is good or bad but he seems okay with it. He plays at least once a week and has a pro golfer that gives him lessons on another day. At least twice a week he stops by the course to shoot a bucket of balls too.

I used to play a couple times a week BK (Before Kids). I had gotten my handicap down to about 6.

AK (After Kids), about the only time I get to play is the occasional weekend, company tournaments, and vacations. I played 8 rounds in 7 days the last time we went to Myrtle Beach. And I generally like to get in a couple of rounds when we go to Disney World.

I can still shoot in the low 80's and on a good day high 70's.

My best round ever was a 2-over 74 with rented clubs while on vacation in Washington D.C.

I am a huge golf fan. Average is around 82-84. Solid 10 handicap index.
Usually play 2-3 times a week and I taught myself.
Working on teaching my 7yr old son to play as well. He finally reached the green in 4 shots. He teed off from the red's and i had teed off from the tips. I was only 15-20 yrds in front of him. Im not going to push him into it though. If he wants to play great!! If not, thats ok.

I play a little bit. Actually, I play a lot more now since my buddy works at a local golf course. I have a 14 handicap and I'm happy with that.

I'm a beginner golfer. As for my average score, I have good (aka lucky) days and I have bad days :)

Before DD was born three years ago handicap 2.3 - Went about two weeks ago and had a hard time staying under 90. Doesn't help I haven't played but about 3 times in three years. Oh well, plenty of time for golf when the kiddie is gone as she's only little once.

Wow. Nobody but me wants to admit they stink!

Well, I'll admit my putting stinks which would explain why my handicap is where it is. I suppose if I work on it more, I'd shoot a lower score but, like I said, I'm happy and content where I'm at...
